Occupational Safety and Health, Performance Appraisal, and Organizational Culture: A Model for Preventing Workplace Accidents and Improving Human Resource Productivity
This study aims to analyze the influence of the work safety management audit program, occupational health, and performance appraisal on human resource productivity with organizational culture as a moderating variable. The research was conducted at four manufacturing companies in Palembang City using a quantitative associative approach. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 52 respondents, composed of Human Resource (HR) managers and staff, Human Resource Development (HRD), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) managers and staff, internal auditors, and supervisors. Data were analyzed using multiple regression, t-test, F-test, moderation regression analysis (MRA), and coefficient of determination test. The results of the F-test indicate that the work safety management audit program, occupational health, and performance appraisal simultaneously affect human resource productivity. The t-test results show that the work safety management audit program and occupational health do not have a significant effect, while performance appraisal has a significant effect on human resource productivity. The MRA results reveal that organizational culture functions as a pure moderator of the relationship between the work safety management audit program and human resource productivity, as a quasi-moderator in the relationship between occupational health and productivity, and as a pure moderator in the relationship between performance appraisal and productivity. The R² test results show that human resource productivity is explained by 83% of the variables studied, while the remaining 17% is influenced by other factors outside this research. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening organizational culture to enhance the effectiveness of safety, health, and performance appraisal programs in improving productivity

Understanding E-Paper Engagement: The Interplay of Product, Promotion, Culture, and Social Contexts in the Digital News Market
The rapid development of technology has compelled the media industry to shift toward digital-based platforms. Achieving success in this transition requires an effective strategy that considers consumer behavior variables. Given that consumers respond differently to technology, it is essential to identify behavioral factors that have the potential to significantly impact digital media access. This study aims to examine the influence of product and promotional strategies on the decision to purchase e-paper from Bisnis Indonesia, with cultural and social characteristics of consumers as intervening variables. Products and promotions are external stimuli that influence consumer behavior and are shaped by the strength of individual cultural and social contexts. An associative research design was employed to test the hypotheses, involving 155 e-paper subscribers of Bisnis Indonesia from ten representative cities. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for analysis via LISREL software. The results indicate a positive and significant effect of product and promotional variables on purchasing decisions, which is further strengthened by cultural and social consumer characteristics. Overall, the model explains 89% of the variance in the purchase decision variable

The Philippines is home to a thriving food service business encompassing a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, fast-food chains, cafes, and tiny booths and kiosks. Economic growth and employment are of profound importance in the fast-food industry. The study aims to investigate the significant and positive relationship between business management practices and financial performance. To examine the relationship between business management practices and financial performance as factors, a correlational research design and Pearson's r were utilized in the research process. Due to the study's limitations, other researchers might also consider examining other variables through causal-comparative research. The study's outcomes indicate that methods about finance, human resources, marketing, and operations have a statistically positive and significant relationship with financial performance. These restaurants are considering addressing more difficulties or utilizing a paper to further develop their strategies and practices to improve their economic performance
Board Diversity and ESG Performance in Indonesia: The Role of Financial Performance Moderators
This study investigates the effect of board diversity, specifically gender, age, and nationality, on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores in non-financial publicly listed companies in Indonesia from 2019 to 2023. Using Resource Dependence Theory, the study also examines whether profitability and cash flow moderate these relationships. A fixed effects panel regression was applied to 28 firms, resulting in 140 firm-year observations. The results show that gender diversity significantly improves ESG performance, while age diversity has an adverse effect. Nationality diversity alone has no significant impact. Nationality diversity does not substantially influence ESG performance on its own. However, Cash flow and profitability strengthen the effect of ND on ESG. Meanwhile, financial performance indicators alone do not significantly enhance ESG outcomes. These findings suggest that financial capacity allows firms to leverage diverse boards for sustainability goals better. The study offers practical insights for managers and regulators to align board composition with ESG strategies and encourages further research on other forms of board diversity

This study examined the influence of visual image recognition marketing and short-form ephemeral content marketing on the sales of graphic artworks in Calabar Metropolis. Guided by two research questions and two null hypotheses, the study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population comprised graphic artists, digital content creators, art dealers, gallery owners, social media marketers, and buyers of graphic artworks, from which 100 participants were purposively selected. Data were collected using a validated structured questionnaire and supplemented with semi-structured interviews. Reliability of the instrument was confirmed with a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.70. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics (means, frequencies, and percentages) and inferential statistics, including Pearson’s correlation and regression analysis, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. Findings revealed that visual image recognition marketing significantly influences sales of graphic artworks (r = 0.52, p < 0.05), accounting for 27% of sales variation. Similarly, short-form ephemeral marketing significantly influences sales (r = 0.55, p < 0.05), accounting for 30% of sales variation. Both strategies were found to enhance brand visibility, consumer engagement, and purchase intention, although some respondents noted potential drawbacks such as reduced audience retention or discoverability issues. The study concluded that integrating compelling, high-quality visuals with timely, short-form promotional content can substantially improve sales performance in the creative arts sector. It was recommended that artists and marketers invest in consistent visual branding, leverage social media short-form formats, and adopt analytics tools to monitor and optimize marketing impact
