中和滴定指示薬の選択に関する実験的検討
論文(Article)The measurements of the titration curves were carried out on the several rieutrailzation titrations, and a large number of experimental data of titration obtained under the various conditions were statistically analyzed. When the concentration of the solutions is 0.1N, almost accurate results are obtained by the use of suitable idicator. However, in the case of more dilute solutions, it is difficult to obtain a proper result because of a slow change of pH at the equivalent point and of the influence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. It was found that the mixed indicator of methyl red and methylene blue is very suitable for the titration between strong acid and base
非破壊読み出し用パルス幅変調器 -直流による部分磁化特性および洩れ磁束量の実験的検討-
論文(Article)The authors proposed a new method of pulse width modulator which can read out non-destructively by a square wave voltage of the comparatively low frequency (50 Hz). This modurator is constructed from the two-hole core which is made from laminating sheets of the Fe-Ni 50% permalloy with square loop properties. This paper indicate a few points of the doubt in the modurator. Various hysteresis loops and B-H curves are drawn by means of Ballistic method. Moreover, many measurements give us the minor hysteresis loop behavior during partial flux reversal and the relation between leakage flux and number of readout in the operation for the modurator. From the experimental results, the memory holding characteiistics are discussed, and the propriety is estimated by the method adopted for the improvement

論文(Article)The performace of the transmission line of a new style when in the state of ground, short circuit and disconnection faults is analytically investigated. The system is compensated by the arc suppression device of a new form in which the series resonance in the negative phase sequence circuit of the system is utilized and neutral points are directly grounded. In this system no induction interference is exerted when in the state of a phase ground foult, and moreover arc susspression is carried out even in the state of short circuit fault. The system being essentially a system compensated by the arc suppression device its transient stability is great
P-キシリレンジクロリドおよび関連化合物の合成に関する研究
論文(Article)The present research was undertaken with the object of extending the utilization of toluene. p-Xylylenedichloride (PXDC) and related compounds contain aromatic nucleus and aliphtaic reactive bifunctional groups, therefore they are expected to converted into the various useful products. In this paper, the syntheses of the following compounds and their applications were treated 1. The synteses of PXDC: The chloromethylation of benzyl chloride in the presence of the catalyst in aq.solution with formaldehyde and HCl has been found to yield o- and m-isomer besides PXDC. In this paper zinc perchlorate was used as the catalyst and the optimum conditions to form the PXDC as major product in this reaction were determined. 2. The syntheses of amino-p-xylylenedithiosulphate: This compound was synthesized by the reduction of nitro-p-xylylenedithiosulphate (NPXDTS) with Fe in the presence of ferrous sulphate in aq.solution at 30℃, 4 hours. The NPXDTS was prepared by the reaction of aq.sodium thiosulphate solution and the methanol solution of NPXDC, which was readily obtained by the mononitration of PXDC. The amino-PXDTS was applied to the syntheses of the polycondensation dyes. 3. The syntheses of nitro-p-xylylenediol: This conpound was synthesized by the hydrolysis of NPX-diacetate, which was readily prepared by the reaction of NPXDC with potassium acetate in glacial acetic acid. The NPX-diol gave the amino-PX-diol by the so called Bechamp reduction, and gave also the azo-, azoxy- and hydrazo-derivativs by the alkaline zinc dust reduction. The hydrazo-derivative was converted into benzidinederivatives by the benzidine rearrangement. These aminocmpounds were used as the diazocomponents of the azodyes
A New Approach to Graph-Theoretical Analysis of Road Traffic Networks
論文(Article)Abstract The mathematical foundations related to road traffic problems are described graph-theoretically. It is newly shown that the traffic structure of the road net-work can be analyzed by means of the products of mathematical socio-matrices. And further, the traffic network in Yamagata prefecture is treated as a typical example thereof, and the results calculated by this method is compared with the traffic flows of cars obtained by practical measurements. 概要 道路交通網はグラフ理論の例として揚言されるけれども,実際の解析例は殆んどない。その新方法を提案し,例題を紹介する。すなわち,グラフの数学的表現の一つとして重要な役割を演じいるソシオ・マトリクス(点対行列)の積を計算することにより,たどれる道路の組合わせの種類を求め,その多少により道路交通網の構造を解析する方法を示し,その一つの例として山形県公道をとりあげ,その計算結果と実測結果を比較し,その有効なことを示し,しかもその構造の一端を明らかにすることができた

論文(Article)The filters described here are two kinds of types of electromechanical filter longitudinal-vibrating bars excited electrostrictively by BaTiO_3 Ceramics. Two vibrating bars are differentially connected, and they compose the band-pass filter with the equivalent circuit showed by lattice circit. The mechanical filter needs not ideal transformers and Couplers unlike others. In this paper are described the design method of the mechanical filter and its experimental results
ひずみ円柱創成装置の解析および実験
論文(Article)In recent years, the noncircular cylinder becomes made practical use of as the workpiece of a noncircular gear, the shaft of power transmission, the output shaft of a linear motion actuator without rotation and the positive cam for generating a reciprocating motion. In this paper, two devices are newly developed for generating noncircular cylinders by means of the linear edged tool to be turning at high speed. The one is the device for generating the elliptic cylinder to which is applied such a kinematic principle that the straight line perpendicularly fixed on the coupler link of the revolving block slider crank mechanism envelops the ellipse. The other is the device for generating the polygonal cylinder to which is applied such a kinematic principle that the central line of the coupler slider of the reciprocating block double-slider crank mechanism turned round a point envelops the polygonal profile. The practical constructions of these device for cutting noncircular cylinders with acceptable accuracy are presented. The characteristics of the displacement and the velocity of the point of generation and those of influence coefficients are clarified. The condition for the driving gear of the elliptic cylinder generating device to make a continuous revolution, the maximum deviation of the angular displacement due to errors of kinematic constants and the condition for the polygonal profile to have cusps are formulated. As examples, elliptic cylinders whose lengths, major diameters and eccentricities are 140mm, 48mm and 0.5 respectively and polygonal cylinders having two and three lobes whose lengths, diameters of circumscribed circles and ratios of distortion are 275mm, 48mm and 0.0833 respectively have been cut by using each experimental device. The accuracy analyses by using the profile measuring device also newly developed in this paper have revealed that the maximum normal errors of those noncircular cylinders are about +- 0.02mm over full length

角形ヒステリシス磁心を用いたサイリスタ用全波形点弧制御回路
論文(Article)Author has reported on a firing circuit for the thyristor (SCR) amplifier of which the controlcharacteristic is not affected by the supply voltage variation. The firing circuit is composed of a saturable reactor and a magnetic amplifier. In case of half-wave type, good results are experimentally obtained. In case of full-wave type, however, the reset flux change is affected by the supply voltage variation when the resistance of control circuit of the magnetic amplifier is small. In order to prevent its effect, it is necessary to use a series or parallel compensating circuit in the control circuit. This paper offers a new firing circuit of full-wave type. This circuit is composed of a saturable reactor and an auxiliary thyristor and is different from a usual circuit of full-wave type. The circuit is simple in construction and smaller than the usual circuit of full-wave type, and it has a special merit that a pair elements with identical characteristics do not need to be prepared. This paper describes the principle of performance and the criteria of circuit design, and shows the experimental results of the firing circuit designed according to the criteria. The appropriateness of the design is also discussed
計器用サーボ機構の特性におよぼす非線形要素の影響
論文(Article)It is generally very difficult to investigate the characteristics of a servomechanism used in a self-balancing instrument because of nonlinearities of many components which are contained in the system. In this paper, the effect of the nonlinear characteristics of the components, especially, of the variation of backlash width, used in a self-balancing instrument, is studied by the method of analogue computer simulation. As an example, it is clarified that the allowable width of backlash existing in a self-balancing type recorder, which was manufactured for trial in this study, is from 0(mm) to 0.1(mm) under a certain condition. This technique of simulation may be utilized to modernize the design and production of the measuring instruments and apparatus
