Older Adults’ Physical Activities and Subjective Well-Being
This study examined the relationships between physical activities as health behaviors and subjective well-being in older adults. Data from the National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project (NSHAP) survey were used. The NSHAP study sampled persons 57-85 years of age (n=3005). The respondents completed a telephone survey, reporting their background information and social networking characteristics. For data analysis, a two-step hierarchical regression was used in order to identify the associations between the demographic and physical activity factors on subjective perception of well-being in older adults. Our results indicated that, among the demographic, income, education, health status, and participation in specific physical activities (R2 = .04, R2 adjusted=.04, p \u3c .001) were all significant factors in assessing subjective well-being for older people. The results showed that running, muscle training, taking stairs, and taking a bike ride were significant factors for the male older adults, whereas female older adults who participate in walking, swimming, yoga, and dance reported higher scores of subjective well-being. The results of this study will help health researchers, gerontologists, and social policymakers who are interested in psychological well-being and health in later life. Understanding the gender basis for the selection of physical activities can have important implications for interventions. Furthermore, understanding the associations between health behaviors and subjective well-being in later life will aid in understanding social dynamics in later life. Therefore, it is essential to find effective ways adults can be motivated to keep participating in healthy physical activities in order to maintain health later in their life

Organic Chemistry through Dance
This research project explores representing organic chemistry mechanisms using dance. Dancers represent molecules, electrons, and atoms in demonstrating the movement of electrons and bonds created and broken by the movement. It was concluded that some organic mechanisms and ideas can be easily transferred to a dance concept, while others take more time and exploration. Additionally, dancers representing the atoms and electrons were able to have a better grasp of what was occurring, regardless of chemical education background. This leads to the conclusion of a new way to implement kinesthetic learning into the chemistry classroom. Differentiate Metasploit Framework Attacks From Others
Metasploit Framework is a very popular collection of penetration testing tools. From auxiliaries such as network scanners and mappers to exploits and payloads, Metasploit Framework offers a plethera of apparatuses to implement all the stages of a penetration test. There are two versions: both a free open-source community version and a commercial professional version called Metasploit Pro. The free version, Metasploit Framework, is heavily used by cyber crimininals to carry out illegal activities to gain unauthorized access to targets.
In this paper, I conduct experiments in a virtual environment to discover whether attacks originated from Metasploit Framework are marked with unique patterns and features so that these special characteristics can help identify and block Metasploit Framework attacks. Inside this virtual environment, I will set up two virtual machines: one attacker and one victim. The victim machine is designed to have vulnerabilities for penetration testing. The attacker virtual machine will attack the victim machine by using Metasploit Frameowrk. Wireshark will be used to capture and analyze the packets. The conclusion reached from the experiment results is that, even though the attacks from Metaploit Framework share certain common patterns, these characteristics are not significant enough to be used to create scanners or alerts with to keep victim machines immune from the attacks. The Metasploit Framework attacks keep evolving and it is still a very lofty goal to block cyber attacks from Metasploit Framework. The purpose of this qualitative content analysis was to explore the impact of the instructional coaching model that was conducted over three years during a job-embedded principal preparation residency program. This study revealed how instructional coaching relationships used culturally responsive leadership to improve teaching practices and advance student outcomes for marginalized students and student groups, specifically addressing English Language Learners and Special Education students
Female Leadership Values in Mexican Graduate Students
The present study addresses the gender gap in leadership roles in Mexico through the lens of three leadership constructs. The objective was to compare female and male individual cultural values to explain differences in leadership style and agentic behavior. The sample consisted of 185 graduate students in Baja California, Mexico. Participants were surveyed using the Short Schwartz Value Scale. The responses were analyzed by running independent samples t-tests. The results suggest that males attribute greater importance to Power and Achievement values, which are associated with transformational and transactional leadership constructs. No differences were found across several values associated with other transformational, transactional, and transformative leadership constructs. The implication is that aspiring female leaders should embrace agentic behaviors in pursuit of ambitious goals along with seeking to create democratic and just workplaces. This study is novel because it uses individual cultural values as leadership variables, an approach that is seldom employed, but worth exploring
Evaluation and removal efficiencies of a rural WWTP for metals and anions in Lufkin, East Texas (USA)
The present study quantified element concentrations and evaluated the removal efficiencies of the Lufkin Wastewater Treatment Plant (LWWTP): a public municipal wastewater treatment plant in East Texas. Macroelements (Na, K, Mg, Ca, Al, Fe, Se, Zn, P, and S) and microelements (Ni, Pb, Mn, Cr, Mo, Cu, Co, V, As, B, Ba) were detected using ICP-OES and ICP-MS. In addition, the anion concentrations (Br-, NO3-, NO2-, PO43-, F-, Cl-, and SO42-) and their percent removal from the LWWTP were assessed by using ion chromatography. Whereas macroelements in the influent were above the maximum ceiling limits, the total metal concentrations in the effluent were found below the USEPA (below μg/L) guidelines. In general, the removal efficiencies for metals in LWWTP were ≥ 94%. The removal efficiencies of the anions were \u3e 100% (Br-), 16.42% (Cl-), 78.89% (F-), 182.59% (NO3-), \u3e 100% (NO2-), 51.81% (PO43-), and 67.01% (SO42-). In addition, Pierson correlation coefficients between the anions and cations, and implications for usage and suggested improvements of the treatment plants are proposed
