Divaina has referred to the suspect as සරසවි සිසුවා (university student). Dinamina has used සරසවි සිසු වෙස් ගත් අයෙක් (disguised as a university student) while Mawbima has stated that it is not a university student. While Dinamina and Mawbima had got the information confirmed via university sources, Divaina had failed to do so
