Beetaloo seismic update
\n## **Abstract** \nThe dataset was compiled by the Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program from source data referenced within the dataset and/or metadata. Seismic interpretation including a review of the interpretation of five horizons and the fault network, Beetaloo Sub-Basin.\n\n\n## **Attribution** \nGeological and Bioregional Assessment Program\n\n\n## **History** \nAll the available geological and geophysical data over the Beetaloo sub-basin were loaded into a Petrel project and interpreted focussing on the interpretation of the shallow regions as well as some deeper horizons. Horizons and faults were interpreted including with fault polygons, for five horizons, creating TWT structure surfaces which were depth converted using the velocity model based on checkshot derived interval velocities tied to wells. The study focused on the faulting present in the shallow section, from above the Velkerri Formation to define the fault network for the shallow section of the Beelaloo Sub-basin.1FE2EE29-3B90-4A3E-AC94-C00230479701.zip - Data File<br/>
Groundwater hydrochemistry points for Piper Plot generation
\n## **Abstract** \nSpatial datasets containing groundwater hydrochemistry points with attribution for the generation of maps and piper plots for the Cooper GBA Region reports. City of Yarra traffic counts
This data asset has information for point-in-time traffic counts on some roads within the Yarra municipality. Women aged 18 years and over who experienced violence and emotional abuse by a partner they lived with in the last 12 months
This dataset evaluates 'Ever-partnered women aged 18 years and over who experienced violence or emotional abuse by a partner they lived with'.\r\n\r\nCells in this table have been randomly adjusted to avoid the release of confidential data. Discrepancies may occur between sums of the component items and totals.\r\n\r\n'Physical violence' includes physical assault and/or physical threat.\r\n\r\n'Total violence' includes physical violence and/or sexual violence.\t\r\n\r\n'Total ever-partnered women' includes all women who have or had a partner since the age of 15.\t\r\n\r\n'Has a disability or long-term health condition' refers to a person who was defined as having a disability or long-term health condition if they had one or more conditions which had lasted, or were likely to last, for six months or more, and that restricted every day activities. People were identified as having a profound or severe core-activity limitation if they required help or supervision for one or more core activities, such as self-care, mobility or communication. For further information refer to the Glossary.\t Further, a specific requirement of the PSS was that interviews were conducted in private. Where a respondent required the assistance of another person to communicate with the interviewer, proxy interviews were conducted for a limited amount of the survey and this data was not retained on the final weighted file. Therefore it is likely that the PSS will under represent those with a profound or severe disability. For more details regarding proxy interviews refer to the Proxy section of the Survey Development and Data Collection page of the Personal Safety Survey, Australia: User Guide, 2016 (cat. no. 4906.0.55.003). Waterbird data for the Basin Plan Evaluation 2020
### Overview\r\nThe aerial waterbird survey (AWS) analysis that underpinned the Basin Plan Evaluation 2020 drew predominately on annual aerial survey data across 38 key wetlands across the Murray-Darling Basin, since 2014. These surveys are run conjunction with the Eastern Australian Waterbird Survey (EAWS) since 1983.\r\n\r\nThe sourcing of this data was done predominately through a third-party external provider through contract agreements.\r\n\r\nRecently, Geoscience Australia has been developing a Wetland Insight Tool (WIT) to allow users to observe the spatiotemporal behaviour of wetlands in Australia. This survey covers the Eastern part of the Australian continent, flying a plane across transects of this region. This information supports monitoring of Ramsar Conventions in Australia, as well as statutory obligations under both the Water Act (2007) and Basin Plan (2012).\r\n\r\nThis program has investigated the effectiveness of waterbirds as a good indicator of basin health as well as improving our understanding of the wetlands under observation.\r\n\r\nThis information supports the evaluation of the effectiveness of the Basin Plan, under Schedule 7, for waterbird related targets identified.\r\n\r\nThe sourcing of this data was done predominately through a third-party external provider through contract agreements. \r\n\r\n###Survey Evolution\r\nIn 2007, the MDBA first funded an external third-party to survey selected wetlands, specifically The Living Murray (TLM) programs wetlands, and formed part of the Eastern Australian Wetland Survey (EAWS).\r\n\r\nIn 2010, these surveys were extended to include Hydrological Indicator Sites (HIS), with the intention to support Basin Plan monitoring and evaluation.\r\n\r\nIn 2013-2014, the program expanded to include 39 significant wetlands, which included all Ramsar Sites within the Murray-Darling Basin, all The Living Murray (TLM) sites, as well as wetlands identified through the Basin-wide Environmental Watering Strategy (BWS).<br/>Coorong and Lower Lakes Waterbird Census - ###Overview\r\n\r\nLong-term monitoring of waterbirds in the Coorong and Lower Lakes in South Australia is undertaken by the University of Adelaide and forms part of the annual waterbird census in the Lower Lakes, Coorong and the Murray Mouth (LLCMM) region. Waterbird monitoring in the Coorong commenced in 2000, and it expanded in 2009 to include the Lower Lakes.\r\n\r\nThe LLCMM region is a Ramsar-listed wetland of international importance for migratory waterbirds. It is also one of the icon sites under The Living Murray program. The condition of the LLCMM region, and waterbird recruitment and populations, have been identified as targets against which to assess progress towards achieving the objectives of the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. The waterbird census data and findings form part of the ecological information used for this assessment.\r\n\r\nThe 2016-17 monitoring program was funded by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA). Age-standardized prevalence of current tobacco use among persons aged 15 years and older
Tobacco smoking is one of the largest preventable causes of death and disease in Australia. In 2017-18, 13.8% of adults aged 18 years and over were daily smokers (2.6 million people), down from 14.5% in 2014-15.
