In North Sumatra Province, the reported cases reached 4.705 with 24 deaths. Based on environmental health data from Haji Abdul Halim Hasan Community Health Center, 41 DHF cases were found during 2024, showing an increase compared to the previous year which recorded 37 cases with a program achievement of (10,81%). The DHF control program aims to break the chain of transmission to reduce morbidity, mortality rates, and limit the spread of cases. The DHF control program implemented at the community health center consists of DHF socialization to the public, mosquito breeding site eradication, and fogging. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the DHF control program at Haji Abdul Halim Hasan Community Health Center in Binjai City in 2024. The method used is qualitative, data were obtained through interviews with three respondents conducted from February to July 2025. The research results show that out of the seven indicators analyzed in the dengue hemorrhagic fever Control Program at Haji Abdul Halim Hasan Health Center, four indicators are deemed achieved, namely human resources, funding, facilities and infrastructure, and implementation. However, the indicators for planning, monitoring, and program achievements have not been met. Planning is not carried out comprehensively according to guidelines, monitoring is only conducted by cadre without the involvement of health workers, and the program achievement remains low with an incidence rate of (0,16%), exceeding the national target of (<0,01%). Therefore, it is recommended that Haji Abdul Halim Hasan Health Center improves planning and monitoring of programs more systematically and effectively, and that the community actively participates in the program.78 pagesSkripsi Sarjan

    No full text
The widespread availability, ease of access, and variety of Sugar-sweetened Beverage (SSB) pose a challenge for society, including students, given that most SSB contain high levels of sugar. Excessive consumption of SSB has negative health impacts, such as an increased risk of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Knowledge and attitudes play a crucial role in controlling SSB consumption, as both can influence individual behavior and decision-making regarding what they consume. This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge and attitudes with the frequency of Sugar-sweetened Beverage consumption among students at the Faculty of Public Health, USU. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The sample was taken using Slovin's formula, resulting in a total of 105 students. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analyses. The results showed that 53 students consumed SSB infrequently, while 52 students consumed SSBs frequently. Statistical tests indicated no significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.381) and attitudes (p=0.739) with the frequency of Sugar sweetened Beverage consumption. It can be concluded that although students attitudes and knowledge are categorized as good, they do not significantly affect the frequency of SSB consumption; other factors beyond attitude and knowledge may play a more significant role in determining student’s SSB consumption habits. It is hoped that students will reduce their consumption of SSB considering the negative health impacts that may arise.91 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    No full text
The existence of banks is an inseparable part of economic activities such as production, consumption, trade, savings, investment and other activities. Banks also collect funds from the public in the form of savings and distribute them to the public in the form of credit. However, the credit provided by banks to the public does not always proceed according to the agreement due to various conditions, one of which is overmacht. The aim of writing this thesis is to find out the provisions for the implementation of rescue and settlement of bad credit at banks due to debtors being in a state of overmacht, the implementation of rescue and settlement of bad credit at banks due to debtors being in a overmacht situation in Decision Number 457/Pdt.G/2021 /Pn.Mdn and analysis of the judge's considerations and decisions regarding rescuing and resolving bad loans at banks due to debtors being in a overmacht situation. Decision Study Number 457/Pdt.G/2021/Pn.Mdn. The method used in this research is normative juridical with descriptive research characteristics and uses a statutory approach and a case approach. The legal materials used are primary, secondary and tertiary. The data collection technique used is literature study and the data collection tool uses document study. The data analysis used is qualitative and conclusions are drawn deductively. The rescue of bad debts caused by overmacht can be done by credit restructuring or better known as 3R as stated in OJK Regulation No. 32/Pojk.03/2018. Meanwhile, the settlement of bad debts is carried out by auctioning collateral in accordance with Article 12 of the Banking Law. The case of bad debts caused by overmacht in decision Number 457/Pdt.G/2021/Pn.Mdn has been rescued by the bank by providing a letter of extension of the credit term. However, because the debtor still does not fulfill his obligations, the credit settlement is carried out by seizing the execution of the debtor's collateral. The judge's considerations in the case show that the rescue and settlement steps taken by the creditor are in accordance with the principle of prudence and applicable regulations and the judge firmly protects the creditor's rights to demand repayment through a legitimate legal mechanism.116 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Juridical Review of the Withholding of Workers’ Diploma in the Civil Code and Law Number 13 of 2003 Concerning Manpower (Study at the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office)

    No full text
The practice of diploma retention by companies as a form of guarantee to prevent employees from resigning before the end of their employment contracts has sparked legal controversy in Indonesia's labor sector. This practice conflicts with the prevailing legal norms. Under civil law, an agreement is only valid if it meets the four conditions stipulated in Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code: mutual consent, legal capacity, a specific object, and a lawful cause. Meanwhile, Law Number 13 of 2003 on Manpower requires that employment agreements reflect principles of protection, balance, and legal certainty between employers and employees. This study aims to examine the legal validity of diploma retention agreements from the perspectives of civil law and labor law, as well as to analyze their impact on the fulfillment of workers’ fundamental rights. The research employs a normative and empirical juridical method, combining statutory analysis with field data obtained from the Manpower Office of North Sumatra Province. This mixed approach integrates the study of written legal norms with real-world observations of employment contract practices. The findings show that although there may be consent between the employer and employee, the retention of diplomas without a clear legal basis contradicts the principles of both civil and labor law and may be categorized as an unlawful act. Such practice violates the sound principle of freedom of contract and fails to reflect the protection of workers' rights as mandated by labor legislation. Therefore, stronger regulatory measures are needed to safeguard personal documents of employees and to prohibit exploitative labor practices158 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
