Elliptic and parabolic problems in thin domains with doubly weak oscillatory boundary
No full textArtículos en revistasEn este trabajo analizamos el comportamiento de soluciones de ciertas ecuaciones diferenciales elípticas y parabólicas definidas en dominios finos de cualquier dimensión con oscilaciones en la frontera superior e inferior.In this work we consider higher dimensional thin domains with the property that both boundaries, bottom and top, present oscillations of weak type. We consider the Laplace operator with Neumann boundary conditions and analyze the behavior of the solutions as the thin domain shrinks to a fixed domain. We obtain the convergence of the resolvent of the elliptic operators in the sense of compact convergence of operators, which in particular implies the convergence of the spectra. This convergence of the resolvent operators will allow us to conclude the global dynamics, in terms of the global attractors of a reaction diffusion equation in the thin domains. In particular, we show the upper semicontinuity of the attractors and stationary states. An important case treated is the case of a quasiperiodic situation, where the bottom and top oscillations are periodic but with period rationally independent.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Get PDFGrado en Ingeniería en Tecnologías IndustrialesEl proyecto consiste en el diseño, simulación y optimización de un cohete modular capaz de obtener los 3 niveles de certificación otorgados por la Asociación de Cohetería Tripoli, con una carga CanSat la cual puede ser desplegada en mitad del vuelo.
El proyecto se divide en las siguientes partes:
Diseño y caracterización de los tubos de material compuesto y de los conectores modulares.
Diseño, simulación y optimización de la ojiva comparando construcciones geométricas y matemáticas para reducir la fuerza de arrastre, así como la evaluación de una aproximación del coeficiente de arrastre mediante números adimensionales.
Diseño de 2 sistemas de paracaídas controlados electronicamente (evento único, con un paracaídas y evento doble, con dos paracaídas los cuales se abren a diferentes alturas para controlar el descenso) con conectores electromagnéticos.
Diseño, simulación y optimización de la estructura del módulo de aviónica y de la carga CanSat (así como un sistema para desplegar la carga).
Caracterización de la potencia y composición de los motores de combustible sólido disponibles comercialmente.
Diseño de un sistema de extinción del combustible en caso de fallo en la secuencia de despegue.
Diseño y caracterización de las aletas del cohete con perfil NACA (con aproximación de perfil aerodinámico fino) no estandarizado para los diferentes cohetes, evitando tanto el arrastre inducido debido a los vórtices de punta de ala como la resonancia de las aletas.
Simulaciones de vuelo.The project’s main aim is to design, simulate and optimize a modular rocket capable of passing all 3 levels of the Tripoli Rocketry Association with a CanSat Payload which may be deployed mid-flight.
The Project can be subdivided into a series of different parts:
Design and characterization of the composite material tubes and the modular connectors.
Design, simulation and optimization of the nosecone, comparing geometrical and mathematical derivations to educe the drag force as well as the evaluation of an adimensional number technique to approximate the drag coefficient.
Design of 2 electronically-controlled recovery systems (Single event, with 1 parachute and double event, with 2 parachutes which open at different height to allow for a more controlled descent).
Design, simulation and optimization of the Avionics/ CanSatPayload module as well as s system to deploy said payload.
Characterization of the power and composition of different commercially available rocket engines.
Design of an fuel-extinguishing system in case there is a mishap in the take-off procedure.
Design and characterization of the rocket’s fins with a non-standardized NACA profile (with the thin airfoil approximation) for the different rockets, avoiding the induced drag caused by the wingtip vortices and the fin’s fluttering.
