The potential of finance to reduce inequalities – the goal of SDG 10 – through the facilitation of economic opportunity is well known. Nevertheless, institutional voids may undermine this potential to abate inequality. Sustainable banking can bridge these institutional failures. We provide empirical evidence drawn from a database of 46 developed and developing countries over the period 2010-2017. We find that sustainable banking reduces income inequality within countries with weak formal institutions. No full textSea L=(L,[⋅,⋅],δ) un algebroide de Lie algebraico sobre una curva proyectiva suave de género g≥2 tal que L es un fibrado de lína cuyo grado es menor que 2-2g. Sean r y d números coprimos. Probamos que la clase motívica (en el anillo de Grothendieck de variedades) del espacio de moduli de L-conexiones de rango r y grado d sobre X no depende de la estructura de algebroide de Lie [⋅,⋅] y δ de L ni tampoco del propio fibrado de línea L, si no únicamente del grado de L (y, por supuesto, de r, d, g y X). En particular, coincide con la clase motívica del espacio de moduli de K(D)-fibrados de Higgs de rango r y grado d, donde D es un divisor de grado positivo. Como consecuencia se obitienen resultados similares (de hecho, ligeramente más fuertes) para los correspondientes E-polinomios. Además, se deducen algunas aplicaciones de estos resultados.Let L=(L,[⋅,⋅],δ) be an algebraic Lie algebroid over a smooth projective curve of genus g≥2 such that L is a line bundle whose degree is less than 2−2g. Let r and d be coprime numbers. We prove that the motivic class (in the Grothendieck ring of varieties) of the moduli space of L-connections of rank r and degree d over X does not depend on the Lie algebroid structure [⋅,⋅] and δ of L and neither on the line bundle L itself, but only the degree of L (and of course on r,d,g and X). In particular it is equal to the motivic class of the moduli space of KX(D)-twisted Higgs bundles of rank r and degree d, for D any divisor of positive degree. No full textLa prevención y protección de la salud mental en la población menor, aunque no ha recibido la atención que se merece en la normativa básica estatal sobre educación, es uno de los fines esenciales que esta última debe garantizar. No nos referimos a la educación inclusiva, que implica adaptar la educación a las necesidades especiales de cada alumno, sino a la protección de un derecho que, a primera vista, parecería corresponder únicamente a los servicios sanitarios. El carácter transversal de este derecho obliga a coordinar los esfuerzos de los centros educativos con los de otros actores especialmente relevantes (no solo el sistema sanitario, sino también padres, guardadores, tutores…), así como a actuar en un amplio espectro temporal en relación con los posibles problemas y trastornos asociados a la salud mental del alumnado: promoción de hábitos saludables, prevención de daños causados o agravados por los propios centros o profesionales de la educación, detección precoz, prevención general y especial, protección en casos ya detectados para un mejor tratamiento, etc. Pese a lo que pudiera parecer, no se trata de un fin secundario, sino que puede incardinarse en diversos preceptos constitucionales (derecho a la integridad física y moral -15 CE- derecho a la educación -27 CE- con específica mención de la educación sanitaria -art. 43.3-, protección jurídica de la salud -43.1 CE-, etc.).Minors' mental health protection should be included as one of the goals education shall have. We do not deal with "inclusive education", that implies taking care of special needs, but with the protection of mental health of general population under 18. It is a task that does not only involve health services, but also education actors (schools, teachers, etc.). allow practitioners to better manage ESG risks in ESG portfolios within a complete
framework consistent with global challenges that focus on sustainability and carbon
risk scores. To analyze the differences between Sustainable Investment strategies,
we adopt a parametric analysis of variance method. We find that, on average, funds
that only apply negative filters achieve worse ESG risk scores and show worse carbon
risk. In sum, this study contributes with more in-depth knowledge about the different
