El impacto de la Covid-19 sobre el periodismo de inmigración en España: continuidades aceleradas y posibles rupturas
Get PDFArtículos en revistasste artículo analiza el impacto de la crisis de la Covid 19 y el confinamiento sobre la labor periodística centrada en la inmigración. Para ello, se han realizado 5 entrevistas en profundidad –telemáticas– a periodistas especializados en este ámbito. El impacto de la Covid 19 ha sido muy alto en el quehacer diario de estos periodistas y pueden identificarse algunas tendencias que venían detectándose antes de la pandemia, tales como el uso de recursos telemáticos, la precarización laboral que se ha intensificado en este periodo; así como las fuentes alternativas a las oficiales. Por último, cabe destacar que se detectan algunos cambios en el acercamiento a la cuestión inmigratoria, que ha tomado relevancia en la segunda fase del confinamiento y que ha hecho que emerjan cuestiones no muy tratadas hasta ahora por los medios de comunicación, como el aporte al mercado laboral de las personas inmigrantes o su impacto económico.This article analyzes the impact of the Covid-19 crisis and the lockdown on journalistic work focused on immigration. To do this, 5 in-depth interviews - telematics - have been carried out with journalists specialized in this field. The impact of Covid-19 has been very high on the daily work of these journalists and we identified how some trends that had been detected before the pandemic, like the use of telematic resources or job insecurity increased. Also, the possibility of looking for news and alternative sources to the official ones has suffered, due to mobility difficulties. Finally, it should be noted that some changes have been detected in the approach to the immigration issue, which has taken on relevance in the second phase of lockdown and has led to issues not very discussed so far by the media, like the contribution to the labor market of immigrants or its economic impact.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Physical Activity and Adherence to the Mediterranean Diet among Spanish Employees in a Health-Promotion Program before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Sanitas-Healthy Cities Challenge
Get PDFArtículos en revistasEl objetivo del presente trabajo fue analizar cómo había afectado la pandemia a la actividad física y a la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea de trabajadores de empresas participantes en el proyecto Healthy Cities.Physical activity and a healthy diet are key factors for avoiding major noncommunicable diseases. The aim of the present study was to analyze how physical activity (PA) and adherence to the Mediterranean diet among employees participating in the Healthy Cities program have been affected during confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample was composed of 297 employees from 40 leading companies based in Spain, who participated in the 5th edition of the Sanitas “Healthy Cities” challenge. The participants (148 women and 149 men), aged between 24 and 63 years old (M = 42.76; SD = 7.79) completed the short form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the PREDIMED (Prevención con Dieta Mediterránea) questionnaire to measure adherence to the Mediterranean diet before and during the pandemic. Pearson χ2 tests revealed that workers were more likely to show sedentary behaviors during the pandemic than before (83.5% vs. 66.7%). Additionally, they were more likely to reach high levels of PA (51.2% vs. 64%), and Wilcoxon tests revealed that energy expenditure measured in Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) was higher during the pandemic (4199.03 METs) than before (3735.32 METs), due to an increase in moderate PA. Lastly, a higher adherence to a Mediterranean diet during the pandemic (76.4%) than before (54.5%) was reported. The findings of this investigation suggest a positive effect of working from home for employees involved in a health-promotion program, and highlight the relevance of this kind of action among this population.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Pero también se requiere un sistema de DIPr. coherente con los principios de la CNUDPD, que les asegure la continuidad espacial de las medidas de apoyo y les garantice la seguridad jurídica del marco regulador y que la ratificación por España del Convenio de La Haya de protección de adultos de 2000 garantizaría.The recognition and guarantee of the rights of adults with disabilities, requires an adequate civil legal framework aligned with the principles of the the UNCRPD, a that is the subject of the Draft Law of 3. July 2020 by which the civil and procedural legislation on disability is reformed. But it is also important a DIPr system. consistent with the principles of the UNCRPD, to assure the spatial continuity of the support measures.
