The effect of selection for herbivorous capability on cecal microbiome composition in bank voles – a cross-fostering experiment (MicroCF)
The dataset includes:
- two Excel files with raw data obtained as a result of completing one of the tasks of the NCN-financed project (2016/23/B/NZ8/00888) “Experimental evolution of physiological and behavioral adaptations in the bank vole: molecular background and alimentary system bacterial symbionts”;
- four text files with examples of statistical code (in R and in SAS) used for the data analyses, which were the bases for the publication of Lipowska et al. 2024 (see "Related Publication");
- and a MicroCF_README.txt file with general metadata information about these files
3D organization of the Balbiani body and results of immunofluorescence analyses
Project PRELUDIUM 20: "The Balbiani body and mitochondrial dynamics. The role of nuage, lysosomes and cytoskeleton in multiplication/selection of female germline mitochondria". Raw data/images:
(1) 3D organisation of the Balbiani body in Meconema meridionale oocytes;
(2) results of immunofluorescence localisation of α-tubulin, autophagy-related proteins (ATG5, LC3), Drp1, and polyglutamylation modification of tubulin (PolyG);
(3) proteostat staining.

Creation and use of Open Educational Resources (YouTube) by teachers - quantitative data
The data is quantitative in nature. The study collected data from 2,157 teachers in Spain. The sample included active teachers from various educational levels including infant, primary, secondary, adult, and professional training stages. Gender distribution: 1,527 female teachers (70.80%), 630 male teachers (29.20%). The study used an ad hoc questionnaire to assess teachers' digital competence in using YouTube as a learning resource. Data structure: The instrument consisted of 13 items divided into three dimensions: Digital-Communication Competence (CD-C), Digital-Information Competence (CD-I), Digital Competence-Content Creation (CD-CC). Measurement scale: A 7-point Likert scale was used, with each value corresponding to a specific digital skill level. This quantitative study used a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, inferential, and correlational design with intentional (non-probabilistic) sampling among Spanish teachers
