Interoception as a predictor of emotion regulation strategies and intensity of body-focused repetitive behaviors among individuals with skin picking symptoms
The dataset contains information gathered from 136 individuals (85% women, 15% men) aged between 18 and 41. This group includes 71 participants who engage in skin-picking behaviors and 65 healthy controls. The dataset encompasses sociodemographic data, including age, gender, marital status, employment status, educational level, and place of residence. Additionally, it features data from scales developed by the authors, which measure the frequency of body-focused repetitive behaviors over the previous week and assess whether participants meet the DSM-5 criteria for Skin Picking Disorder. The dataset also includes responses from standardized self-report questionnaires such as the Skin Picking Scale Revised (SPS-R), the Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness (MAIA), and the Regulation of Emotion Systems Survey (RESS). Furthermore, results from the Heartbeat Counting Task (HCT) and Time Estimation Task (TET) conducted in laboratory settings are provided. Moreover, the dataset contains data from an Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) conducted over a seven-day period. During this time, participants received three semi-random prompts within designated time-blocks each day. The EMA survey included questions about the occurrence of stressful events, stress level, the presence and intensity of negative emotions, emotion regulation strategies, skin-picking behaviors, resultant tissue damage and distress, and the functioning disturbance and control related to skin-picking

Barriers to digital inclusion - qualitative data
The data collected through structured interviews with 30 respondents in Poland. The research specifically focuses on the barriers to digital inclusion for older people, as identified by younger and middle-aged adults. The respondents themselves did not belong to the older demographic, which presents both a limitation and a unique perspective in the study.
The qualitative approach used interviews to gather perceptions and insights regarding the challenges older people face in developing digital competences. The responses were analyzed using grounded theory to identify and categorize various barriers, resulting in eight main categories: fear of new technologies, lack of need for ICT, self-marginalization, new media characteristics, attitude towards life-long learning, physical limitations, economic constraints, and infrastructural limitations
