Are pre-service teachers ready to teach the Alpha generation? The impact of pre-service teachers' ChatGPT literacy levels on behavioral intentions toward ChatGPT-4.0
This study seeks to enhance our understanding of how pre-service teachers working with the Alpha Generation (PSTAG) interact with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the context of ChatGPT. It specifically examines their perceptions of ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), and behavioral intention (BI) toward ChatGPT-4o, utilizing an extended version of the TAM. The survey method was used, and 450 PSTAG participated in the current study. Data were collected through a survey including the ChatGPT literacy scale (ChatGPT-LS) and TAM to determine PSTAG's ChatGPT-4o literacy level and its relationship with PEOU, PU, and BI. Thirteen hypotheses are developed to test the proposed model. All but one of the hypotheses are supported. This study shows that PEOU and PU play a key role in BI's use of ChatGPT-4o, and the sub-dimensions of the ChatGPT-LS have a statistically significant effect on PEOU and PU. Technical proficiency was found to have no positive effect on PU. It can be suggested that PSTAG's ChatGPT literacy level should be improved through courses to increase their behavioral intention to use ChatGPT-4o for educational purposes
Homotopy Perturbation Method for Fractal Differential Equations
This paper presents the application of the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM) to solve both linear and nonlinear ordinary fractal differential equations. We begin with a review of fractal calculus, including the definition of a fractal Banach space and relevant fixed point theorems. The formulation of HPM within the framework of fractal calculus is developed, and we investigate its convergence properties and radius of convergence. Several illustrative examples are provided to validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method. The results demonstrate that HPM offers a powerful and reliable tool for solving fractal differential equations

VAN MÜZESİ’NDE BULUNAN SELÇUKLU DÖNEMİNE AİT METAL KANDİLLER
Bu çalışmada Van Müzesi’nde bulunan 12 adet metal 11.-12. yüzyıla ait Selçuklu dönemi kandil incelenerek,dönem özellikleri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Tümü bronz malzemeden üretilen kandillerde yapım tekniği olarakdöküm; süsleme tekniği olarak ise kazıma ve kabartma tercih edilmiştir. Malzeme bakımından farklılık arz etmesede kandillerin form tipolojileri ve süsleme özelliklerinin zengin bir çeşitleme sunduğu gözlenmektedir. Eserleringövde, omuz, kaide ve kulplarındaki bezemelerde yazı, geometrik ve bitkisel motifler ile ikonografik anlamlariçeren hayvan figürleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadaki örnekler -envanter kayıtlarına göre- müzeye satın alma yoluylakazandırıldığından dolayı tarihlendirme benzer örneklerden yola çıkarak yapılmıştır. Van Müzesi’ndeki metalkandillerde forma göre motif tercihinin değiştiği dikkati çekmektedir. Ayrıca örneklerde tercih edilen malzeme ileyapım tekniği arasında da sıkı bir ilişkinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Söz konusu müzedeki kandiller benzer örneklerlekarşılaştırılarak Selçuklu dönemine tarihlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma şimdiye kadar herhangi bir bilimsel araştırmayakonu edilmeyen Van Müzesi’ndeki Selçuklu dönemi metal kandillerini Sanat Tarihi disiplini açısından tanıtmayı,irdelemeyi ve değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.</p
The Effect of Light-Curing Devices and Modes on the Physical Properties of Three Universal Single-Shade Resin Composites
Objectives The objective of this in vitro study was to assess the microhardness, surface roughness, and hardness ratios of three universal single-shade resin composites using a variety of light-curing units (LCUs) and modes. Materials and Methods A total of 150 resin composite specimens were prepared (In each subgroup, n=10), each measuring 5 mm in diameter and with a depth of 2 mm, from three universal single-shade resin composites: Charisma Diamond One/DO, Omnichroma/OC, and Vittra APS. Two modes of a Valo cordless LCU and two modes of a Woodpecker LCU were selected to cure the resins, and an Elipar S10 LCU was used as a control. Vickers hardness measurements were taken from the samples using the HMV-G, while surface roughness was measured using the Surfest SJ301 device. Data were analyzed using Shapiro–Wilk, two-way robust ANOVA, Bonferroni tests, and Spearman's rho correlation. Results The highest average microhardness was achieved on the top surfaces of the FGM resin composite using the Valo in high-power mode, with significant differences from other combinations. A statistically significant interaction was observed between resin composite types and LCUs on curing depth (p=0.001), with the deepest curing found in the Tokuyama resin composite using the Valo in high-power mode. The highest surface roughness occurred with the FGM composite using the Valo in standard mode. Additionally, a partial correlation was identified between microhardness and surface roughness across the study groups. Conclusions In this study's limitations, three single-shade resin composites showed favorable outcomes, with Kulzer having the highest microhardness, Tokuyama achieving the greatest curing depths, and FGM exhibiting the highest surface roughness. Valo's high-power mode, used for 4 seconds, yielded the highest hardness ratio but did not attain the highest microhardness value; this was achieved by the Elipar device. Nonetheless, Valo's high-power mode is beneficial for reducing chair time
