It is now the greatest single cause of death for males aged between 15 and 34 in the country. The purpose of the research was therefore to gain an understanding of the contextual issues that face vulnerable groups of young men in Glasgow and to make appropriate recommendations for service re-alignment and development. The research was based on: an examination of literature; forty-two stakeholder interviews; and fifty-four young men at risk interviews.
