Branching out : green space and conservation on referral
Following the findings of the literature review, the recommendations of the MIND (2007) report and the success of programmes such as the “Green Gym”, “Stepping Out” and the various MIND projects (Reynolds, 2002; MIND, 2007) the “Branching Out” project was established. Community Health Partnership worked in
partnership with Renfrewshire Council to carry out a health and wellbeing survey of secondary school age young people in Renfrewshire. The
majority of funding for the survey was accessed through the Fairer Scotland Fund. The aim of the survey was to provide a baseline of the health and wellbeing of Secondary 1 (S1) to Secondary 6 (S6) pupils across Renfrewshire and within individual schools. This information will enable
all agencies in the area to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of the next generation of adults

Live active - motivator final report 2009
This report explores the findings from the Live Active Referral Scheme with the addition of the Motivator enhancement. The Motivator is based on a peer support/buddying concept.
The role of the Motivator is intended to provide support and encouragement to individuals or small groups engaging in physical activity through the scheme. The Motivators are based in a variety of settings, for example, gyms, classes and First Steps classes
