Patient & staff experiences of the colorectal oncology clinic in NHS Ayrshire & Arran
The cancer pilot project falls within the long term conditions strand of the Better Together Patient Experience Programme, and is a three year project to build upon previous patient experience studies undertaken at the Cancer Care Research Centre with the University of Stirling. The aim of the overarching pilot project is to develop positive experiences for cancer patients and their carers. This project sought to ascertain the experiences of colorectal cancer patients, their carers and colorectal oncology clinic health care professionals. The experiences gathered together are presented within this report and recommendations have been formed which will be presented to the project team to enable action planning. A key objective of this project approach is to ensure both equity and patient experience are central to service improvement

Evaluation of Keep Well in South West Glasgow CHCP: an exploration of the added value that the Maintaining Mental Wellbeing sessions has offered all stakeholders
To support the implementation of Keep Well locally, SWCHCP introduced a new initiative to help people whose health check suggested they might benefit from support with their mental health and wellbeing. These clients are offered the opportunity to attend a Maintaining Mental Wellbeing Screening Session which is staffed by the Pathways Team (Primary Care Mental Health Team) and the South West Glasgow Stress Centre. SWCHCP wished to determine the impact of the Maintaining Mental Wellbeing Session on the Keep Well initiative in the area
