A health profile of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde workforce : with an exploration of health issues of lower paid staff
This paper describes three phases of research undertaken to improve staff health by developing a staff health profile and identifying enablers for engagement in positive health behaviours
Evaluation weigh in at work – Stobhill patient information centre (PiC)
The weigh in at work toolkit was developed by Health at Work as a resource, aimed to support weight loss/weight maintenance groups within workplaces. The toolkit was used in the delivery of an 8 week programme at the PiC at Stobhill. A total of 129 people attended with an average attendance of 63 people per week. The total weight loss over the 8 week pilot was 66.6kg equalling an average weight loss of 0.64kg per person, although average weight loss of those attending for 6 - 8 weeks, doubled from 1.03kg to 2.13kg

Prison health in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde a health needs assessment
The aim of this Health Needs Assessment (HNA) was to provide a systematic baseline assessment of the health and health care needs of prisoners in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) and to identify gaps in the current service provision to inform service future planning and development. It focuses on the two operational publicly owned prisons within NHSGGC: HMP Barlinnie and HMP Greenock. A third prison, HMP Low Moss, falls under the remit of NHSGGC but it was under renovation at the time of this HNA
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde equality scheme 2010/2013 second monitoring report June 2012
This is the second annual report for the Equality Scheme 2010 /13. This monitoring report builds on last years report and has three main aims. Firstly, it will consider the ongoing development of the approach that NHSGGC takes to meet both its legislative requirements and its duty of care to a diverse population. Secondly it will report on the second year’s progress against the outcomes indicated in the Equality Scheme Action Plan. Lastly, it will consider the rate of this progress and identify where further attention needs to be paid for the final year of the current Scheme

This report compares two cross-sectional samples of residents interviewed as part of the second wave of the GoWell Community Health and Wellbeing survey1: Remainers, consisting of households that have lived in the same GoWell Regeneration Area since 2006, when a household member was interviewed for the first time, and Outmovers, consisting of households that have moved out of a GoWell Regeneration Area to another location in Glasgow since 2006
