The aims of the current study are to gather current demographic information on the pupil population, report trend data on key areas of health, and gain an understanding to individual pupil perceptions of their health & wellbeing. The survey included questions on the following topics:

Evaluation of the Renfrewshire Development Programme
The Renfrewshire Development Programme (RDP) is a multifaceted service improvement and development programme involving the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH), 13 local Paisley GP practices, community health and primary care services and Renfrewshire social care services. By working across a geographical area, bridging traditional divides of hospital and community care, it was envisioned that this programme would demonstrate how specific services can be improved and adapted for the future

Public health work aligned to personalised care – realistic medicine
Within NHSGGC, the health improvement team have been developing and progressing the following work streams aligned to personalised care, as outlined in the Chief Medical Officer’s first annual report entitled Realistic Medicine in January 2016:

Glasgow City health and social care partnership: employability services review, final report
Rocket Science were commissioned to review the quality and reach of employment services funded by GSHSCP and make recommendations for their future. The area of policy where health and employability overlap is becoming increasingly important. There is a recognition that many of those facing sustained unemployment have health and social care issues and this requires support which combines health, social care, and employability interventions. In addition, there is now overwhelming evidence that, for many, gaining employment is related to improving the recovery journey for many, improving physical and mental health, and improving social care outcomes
