Pixel-based cross-sectional data set of socio-ecological contextual and land productivity variables covering Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco
The dataset contains pixel-based data of variables for Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. Each data record (i.e. each row) is corresponding to one pixel of approximately 1 km2. The longitude and latitude coordinates of the pixel center (in decimal degree, GCS WGS 1984 datum) are the X and Y variables, respectively. Using these spatial coordinates of the pixels, the data represented in the file, or newly computed data from the data file, can be re-imported to a standard GIS software like ArcGIS (one raster layer is corresponding to one variable). For all variables, the value of -9999 indicates “no data”
Profiling and mapping of youth group members and champion farmers
The TAAT project is scaling up adoption of improved sheep fattening technology and practices in Ethiopia through implementation of benchmark sites which comprise sheep fattening youth groups and model champion farmers. These sites will act as disseminators of proven sheep fattening technologies and practices and facilitators of participatory learning. Youth groups comprise 10-20 youth members (male and female) aged between 16-35 years. One champion farmer is attached to each youth cooperative and acts as a role model to the youth group.
The dataset contains profiling and mapping data of youth group members and champion farmers in the TAAT sheep fattening scaling project
SWAT model weather input data

Al_Khattem Potential Hot-spots Of Red Palm Weevil (RPW) Risk Based On Trap-data 2014
The layer was part of Enhancing date palm integrated pest management and agricultural extension and technology transfer systems in Abu Dhabi project, the layer was generated from survey information on date palm in Abu Dhabi obtained from Abu Dhabi Farmers Services Center. The trap information for 2014 (number of red palm weevil that have been captured) has been used as an input to identifies statistically significant hot spot using the Getis-Ord Gi* statistic in ArcGIS platform. Please visit our website for more data. Information and download links are available in metadata
National seed system survey data - Cambodia 2016
The dataset contains data from the national survey about cassava cropping in Cambodia. The dataset took place between November and December 2016
Integrated Pest management (IPM) of Insect Pests - Selection for resistance to Spring Chickpea leafminer 2002
This dataset includes data on the selection for resistance to Spring Chickpea leafminer L.M (F4) in the year 2002. The Observations tab provides information on the alpha-numeric codes used to describe each progeny. The Cross_Structure tab provides data on the location and parentage of each cross. All data for each cross with corresponding observations and selections are seperated in individual tabs by the cross number
19th International Winter Wheat Trial - Semi Arid condition (19IWWYT-SA)
The dataset contains data from the 19th International Winter Wheat Yield Trial - Semi Arid condition (IWWYT-SA), as part of the International Nursery data for Winter Facultative Wheat report for 2017. The genotypes developed by IWWIP have been tested in replicated trials in multilocations. It provides disease reactions, quality, selections by the breeders who conducted the trials in addition to the yield of the genotypes in the locations tested
Raw Data Baseline Survey on Adoption of Agricultural Technologies
The International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), the National Institute for Agronomic Research in Tunis (INRAT) and the Office for Livestock and Pasture (OEP) ) and the University of Georg-August in Goettingen, Germany, conducted a survey to provide more understanding about farmers' decision-making regarding the production and marketing of products. The survey focused in finding mechanisms by which farmers can effectively adopt agricultural technologies that can improve their economic status and well-being. The survey took place between October and December 2016
Agricultural water productivity for rainfed areas in 2008
The dataset contains one of the layers produced for “Supporting Coordination and Cooperation in Water Management in the Euphrates and Tigris Area CPET” project. The project aims to assess the status of water use in agriculture in the Euphrates-Tigress basin, determine and map the agricultural water productivity and identify options for improving it in problem areas of the basin in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. Agricultural Water Productivity (WPM) (kg/m3) was determined for each pixel by dividing crop productivity (kg/ha) raster layer by seasonal crop water use in terms of actual evapotranspiration (m3/ha) raster layer. The WPM was for 2008, which was dry year and hence considered a deficit period based on the annual mean precipitation data at the basin level estimated by SIWI. The rainfed areas were determined based on IWMI’s irrigated and rainfed area mapping procedures
2017 ICARDA Faba Bean Acid Soils FIGS Subset
The FIGS_ILB_Acid_2017 FIGS set was created using the Focused Identification of Germplasm Strategy FIGS (http://figs.icarda.org). We used the FAO's harmonized soil database to construct this set. Furthermore, WorldClim data was used to maximize the climatic diversity within this set. FIGS_ILB_Acid_2017 is the name of the FIGS subset including the crop, trait name and the year of construction
