Barometer of the Public Opinion Research Center, December 1993
The purpose of the study: to investigate the attitudes of Lithuanian population about the most important political, social and economic issues during the rapid transformation of society and state.
Major investigated questions: respondents were asked how A. M. Brazauskas performs the duties of the President, and Č. Juršėnas and A. Šleževičius hold the positions of the Speaker of the Seimas and the Prime Minister respectively. Opinions were evaluated on how the activities of the Seimas and the Government correspond to the interests of the people. Further respondents were asked to assess the current economic situation in Lithuania and what respondents think will be the economic situation in Lithuania after 12 months. Also, the respondents assessed their current economic situation (their family) and the material situation of the respondents (their family) after 12 months respectively.
Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, nationality, country of birth, education, work status, employment, occupation, average monthly income of respondent, monthly family income per one family member, place of residence

This dataset contains data on mortality rate (per 1000 population) in Lithuania in 1919-1939. Data in the cells (year by administrative region) were computed by multiplying the number of deaths by 1000 and dividing by number of the mid-year population. Post-Election Survey, November - December 2012
The purpose of the study: assess Lithuanian population political attitudes and tendencies of electoral behaviour in election of Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania in 2012.
Major investigated questions: research was to systematically glance to Lithuanian residents electoral behaviour tendencies, transformation and premises of 20 years, i. e. during Lithuanian population survey estimate to what extent electoral behaviour of citizens of Lithuania can be explained based on theories of party identification, social cleavages, economic voting and issue voting. It was questioned what influence strategic political communication have on preferences of citizens. It was aimed to find out how party attachment is formed in new democracy, if phenomenon of "properties of problems" exist in Lithuania, how political education, party attachment, homogeneity of social environment determines voters decision. Further, it was analysed what factors changes effectiveness of political agitation, what influence different election strategies have on election results, etc.
Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, religion, nationality, education, duration of learning (studying), occupation, working position, nature of work of father and mother, respondent's and his/hers family's position in society, respondent's dwelling type, monthly expenditures on hobbies, description of financial situation of respondent's family, size of household, family's income per month, etc.
Post-election survey is a part of "Lithuanian National Election Study" implemented first time in 2012 in Lithuania by scientists of Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University

Opinions were sought on how the activities of the Seimas and the Government correspond to the interests of the people. Respondents were asked to assess the current economic situation in Lithuania and what respondents think will be the economic situation in Lithuania after 12 months. Also, the respondents assessed their current economic situation (their family) and the material situation of the respondents (their family) after 12 months respectively. It was asked which political party or movement respondents sympathized with and which party, according to the respondents, would receive the most votes. After asking a block of questions, it was wanted to know what actions respondents would take to help the political party they sympathize with. The LDDP's economic and social policy was further evaluated. After listing all the Prime Ministers, respondents were asked to answer who of them was or is most suitable for this position. Residents of Lithuania who participated in the survey were asked to answer whether they read newspaper "Echo of Lithuania" and whether they intend to participate in the events when Pope John Paul II arrive in Lithuania. They were asked whether they had personally received or expected to receive land under current Lithuanian property restitution laws. The amount of taxes paid by private entrepreneurs to the state was assessed. At the end of the survey, respondents were asked to express their attitude towards abortion and to evaluate their health condition.

Social Policy VI, October - December 2015
The purpose of the study: to examine the attitudes of Lithuanian population towards social policy.
Major investigated questions: respondents were asked which problem is the most relevant for Lithuania. Respondents were asked to evaluate policies of health protection, family, education, labour market and employment, social security and environmental protection. It was questioned if respondents are satisfied with their quality of life. Respondents were asked how would they generally evaluate current changes in Lithuania's society. It was questioned if respondents are planning to go abroad for work or to live there for longer than 6 months. Respondents were asked if government should increase taxes and appoint more resources for social benefits and services, or lower taxes and appoint less resources for social benefits and services. It was analysed if people who we elect as members of the Seimas are trying to comply with promises given during elections. It was questioned if Lithuania should let in all immigrants without huge restrictions and if essentially rights of all ethnic minorities in Lithuania are properly ensured. In order to find out opinion about different groups of people which could come and live in Lithuania, respondents were asked if Jews, Muslims, Christians, Gypsies and black-skinned from other countries should be allowed to come and live in Lithuania. Respondents were also asked if people form neighboring countries (not EU states) should be allowed to come and live in Lithuania.
