    The purpose of the study: to find out Lithuanian residents opinion about their work conditions and forms of virtual work spreading. Major investigated questions: respondents were asked to describer their main work. It was questioned if respondents are/were satisfied with their main job and where and how they work/worked in their main job. They were asked if it is/was overall possible to perform respondents main work without going to workplace that is not in their home. It was analysed how much time do they spend (or have spent in the past) in their main work working on a computer and using the internet (for work purposes) on a regular work day. Respondents were asked how appealing work that can be done in home/ from home (without going to workplace) and by using a computer and/or internet is. It was questioned to which activity in their main job respondents usually devote/devoted the most time. Further, respondents were asked how much time they work/have worked virtually in their regular work day. It was analysed how often respondents have to/had to work virtually not on their work hours in the evenings and (or) nights, on weekends and holidays. Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, duration of education, education, employment status of the respondent and his / her husband / wife / permanent partner, profession (occupation), respondent's trade union membership, religion, participation in religious rites, political views, political and social activism, voting in the last Seimas elections, nationality, household size, respondent's average and total average monthly household income, marital status, place of residence, satisfaction with quality of life, change in living conditions, received social benefits, received financial support from abroad living relatives

    The purpose of the study: to determine the changes in Lithuanian society's interest in public affairs, their civil participation, willingness to be engaged in civil actions at the local and national level, the attitudes towards the available civil power and the assessment of the friendliness of social environment to engage in civil activities. Major investigated questions: respondents were asked which of listed information sources they use in order to find out about social affairs. It was questioned if media in Lithuania (press, newspapers, television, internet news portals) provides reliable news about work and adopted decisions of our country's government. When analysing knowledge about administration of the State, respondents were asked which office does I. Degutienė hold and who has the right to decide if the law does not contradict the Constitution. Respondents were asked with what majority of votes Seimas can reject president's veto, i. e. repeatedly accept the law returned by the President and which party has most seats in the Seimas. It was questioned which of listed parties respondents would consider to be the most "right" in left-right scale. Respondents had an opportunity to indicate how would they act if a serious political, economic or some local significance problem would emerge for them and for a whole society. It was questioned if respondents would participate in the Seimas elections if elections would be held next Sunday. Respondents assessed possibilities of their participation in political life. It was questioned to what extent an ordinary person must be active in his/hers community life. After a group of questions about various forms of political participation and means of community actions or social solidarity was presented, respondents civic activity was assessed. After request to evaluate power of different groups over influence on decision making, respondents civic effectiveness was assessed. Respondents with an age of 18-29 were asked if they participate (have participated) in activity of different pupil and student's organizations. It was questioned how much attention is dedicated (was dedicated) to civic education in general education school where respondents are currently studying or from which they have graduated. It was analysed if civic education is (was) useful. Further, all respondents were asked if in current school of Lithuania a civic education is necessary. After different groups of society was listed, respondents were asked to evaluate power of these groups over influence on decision making that affects lives of society as a whole or its different groups. Also, respondents were asked to assess the risk of civic activity when they were asked how it is likely that residents who currently are initiating or actively participating in civic actions, activities would encounter with problems that were listed to respondents.     The purpose of the study: to ascertain Lithuanian residents opinion about main principles of social policy, to analyse residents specific experiences and provisions related with social policy in Lithuania and to assess effectiveness of social policy in Lithuania. Major investigated questions: respondents were asked which of the listed things causes the biggest threat to Lithuania. Respondents were asked to which type they appointed this days Lithuanian society and what Lithuanian should be - which type they would choose. It was analysed how should the state act if it should choose between tax reduction or spend more on social security and inflation reduction or unemployment reduction. Respondents were asked how safe they personally feel in case of retirement, illness, loss of work, divorce or break up with partner, longterm physical or mental disability and child birth. Respondents were asked to assess how many state objectives in assuring society's well-being in Lithuanian are achieved or unachieved based on the list of objectives in social policy of Lithuania gathered form various political documents. First, respondents were asked how they evaluate state efforts in seeking objectives in labour market and employment areas. Next question block to reveal how state is doing in achieving objectives in social equity and social security areas was presented. Respondents were asked how in their opinion state is doing in achieving its objectives in family policy and child-rearing areas. Next, situation in educational area was assessed. Question block about state achievements in natural and living environment areas was presented. At the interview, satisfaction with social security system in Lithuanian in general was assessed. Respondents were asked if it is better to save retirement pension in "Sodra" or in private funds by paying deposits. Respondents were asked how they participate in pension saving system. Respondents were asked if they would use an opportunity to decline pension saving in private funds and start saving in "Sodra" if conditions in pension saving participation would change. Opinion about situation of ethnic minorities in Lithuania was analysed. Respondents were asked if they are planning to go to work or live abroad for longer than 6 months and if they would agree that Lithuania would let in all immigrants without huge restrictions. It was analysed if the state should fund assisted reproduction. It was questioned if respondents would agree with authorization to freeze embryos and later use them in assisted reproduction. Further, respondents were asked about possibilities of changing the appearance of unborn child - to decide on future child's height, colour of skin, hair and eyes, gender and other physical characteristics using newest technologies. Respondents were asked about current economic situation in Lithuania and material situation of respondents family. Respondents were asked how they envision economic situation in Lithuania and their family's material situation after a year. Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, duration of education, education, employment status of the respondent and his / her husband / wife / permanent partner, profession (occupation), respondent's trade union membership, religion, participation in religious rites, political views, political and social activism, voting in the last Seimas elections, nationality, household size, respondent's average and total average monthly household income, marital status, place of residence, satisfaction with quality of life, change in living conditions, received social benefits, received financial support from abroad living relatives
