Most Important Problems in Lithuania, May - July 2024
The purpose of the study: to investigate Lithuanian public agenda and to measure Lithuanian public opinion on the most important socio-political problems in Lithuania.
Major investigated questions: respondents were asked to think about the problems Lithuania is currently facing and to indicate which of them (up to three problems) the Government should pay most attention to this year (open-ended question). It was also asked how much effort the current Government of I. Šimonytė is putting into solving the problems indicated by respondents.
Additional questions: interest in politics, self-placement on left-right scale, use of the media for political news and information, assessment of the bias in the media coverage of politics in Lithuania, voting in the last (2020) Parliamentary (Seimas) elections, party voted for in the last (2020) Parliamentary (Seimas) elections.
Socio-demographic characteristics: sex, age, year of birth, years of schooling or study, highest level of education, nationality, employment sector: public or private, self-assessment of social status, respondent's average net income per month, household’s average net income per month, subjective assessment of household’s financial situation, assessment of the change of household’s financial situation compared to 12 months ago, respondent's description of domicile, place of residence, region of residence (county).
Respondents' answers to open-ended questions about the most important problems were coded by the staff of the Lithuanian Data Archive for SSH (LiDA) using the international coding scheme of the Comparative Agendas Project, which has 21 major topics and more than 200 subtopics. In addition, these responses were also coded according to whether the problems identified were directly related to Ukraine.

Climate Change Communication and Information Consumption, November 2022
The purpose of the study: to analyse communication of climate change and consumption of information habits of the Lithuanian population.
Major investigated questions: the relevance of the climate change issue to each respondent personally and their level of worry were questioned. They were asked to rate the extent to which they think climate change will directly impact their life and the life of future generations. The study asked specific questions concerning the typically used sources of information regarding climate change. By the end, feedback was obtained regarding the kinds of information they would like to see more of and the best ways for them to do that.
Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, level of education, membership in organizations, religion, marital status, nationality, political views, political participation, size of household, respondent's average personal income, place of residence, working situation of the respondent and of his/her spouse or partner
