Kebermaknaan Hidup Narapidana Yang Mengalami Kegagalan Pernikahan
No full textMarriage failure and the experience of going to prison are experiences that can be "big events" in life to get a turning point. Marriage failure can be caused by one of the family factors, children who do not get ideal care from the family do not have a good role model related to their relationship with the opposite sex. The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of the meaning of life of women who experience marriage failure with a background of prisoners who are still in detention status. The research subjects were 2 women, with the criteria of women who experienced marriage failure more than once. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews, in addition as a complement there were significant person interviews and the Sack Sentences Complete Test (SSCT). The analysis used IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis). The results of the study showed that the subjects were able to find positive things that were obtained while in prison in the form of a comparison of experiences that were considered more enjoyable in prison than before. In addition, he felt a better life satisfaction, the freedom in the form of the will to decide something that had never been obtained before
The effectiveness of taylor swift's songs with figurative language to improve junior high school students' vocabulary mastery
No full textThis study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using Taylor Swift’s songs with figurative language to improve junior high school students' vocabulary mastery. Learning English as a foreign language is challenging, and vocabulary is essential for students to master English effectively. Due to the challenge, song is an ideal medium that potentially improves students’ vocabulary mastery in ELT. The participants of this study were 58 students of the 8th grade of a private junior high school in Palembang. The samples were selected through purposive sampling technique and divided into two groups, experimental and control groups. The researcher used test and questionnaire to collect the data. The results of the test were analyzed by using a t-test meanwhile the results of the questionnaire were examined through descriptive analysis. The findings show that Taylor Swift’s songs with figurative language significantly promote the students’ vocabulary mastery improvement
Application of Warm Water Foot Soak Therapy Mixed with Salt and Lemongrass in Hypertension Patients at the Dharma Bhakti Nursing Home in Palembang.
Get PDFBackground: Hypertension is a chronic disease characterized by increased arterial blood pressure. Hypertension cannot be avoided, including in vulnerable groups such as the elderly because as you get older, the risk of hypertension increases so it needs comprehensive treatment. Therefore, there is a need for appropriate treatment, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological. Non- pharmacological therapy in this case is foot soak therapy in warm water mixed with salt and lemongrass.
Objective: This case study aims to analyze the application of EBP Nursing warm water foot soak therapy with salt mixed with lemongrass in hypertensive patients into nursing care.
Method: This case study uses a descriptive method with a nursing process approach carried out on 3 patients using a one group pretest posttest research design which aims to determine whether there is an effect of warm water foot soak therapy mixed with salt and lemongrass on reducing blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at the Dharma Nursing Home Bhakti Palembang is carried out 3 times a week for 3 consecutive days.
Results: All respondents in this case study were >60 years old, 2 respondents were female and 1 male, and had suffered from hypertension >5 years. The implementation results showed that there was a reduction in blood pressure in hypertensive patients after the warm water foot soak therapy mixed with salt and lemongrass, namely Mrs. N from 148/72mmHg to 138/64mmHg, Mrs. 175/90mmHg becomes 168/85mmHg.
Suggestion: It’s hoped that hypertension sufferers can apply non-pharmacological therapy by soaking their feet in warm water mixed with salt and lemongrass as an alternative therapy and its benefits for lowering high blood pressure

The results of this research show that the influence of live streaming and seller responses has a positive and significant effect on shopee viewers' buying interest
Using mind mapping technique to enhance students' analytical skills in reading activity
No full textThis research aims to determine whether there is a significant increase in the use of mind mapping techniques to improve students' analytical skills in reading activities. This research used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. There are two sample groups for this research, namely the experimental group and the control group. Both groups were given a pretest and posttest. In this research, the experimental group was given treatment through the use of mind mapping to improve students' analytical skills in reading activities. Meanwhile, in the control class, no treatment with the use of mind mapping techniques was applied, because the reading activities in that class were carried out conventionally. This research involved seventy-two tenth grade students, of a private senior high school in Palembang. Researchers employed tests and questionnaires to collect data. The data were analyzed by using t-test and simple percentage analysis. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence in the use of mind mapping techniques on students' analytical skills in reading activity. It is hoped that this research can provide useful insight of the importance of using mind mapping in improving students' analytical abilities
Pengaruh Self Efficacy Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan
No full textThis study understands how employees' self efficacy and work motivation can help improve their performance, which is needed to achieve better productivity in a company. This study aims to determine the influence between self efficacy and work motivation on employee performance. Participants who contributed to this study amounted to 80 active workers who have been bound or working in an organization or company. This research uses quantitative methods with purposive sampling techniques and uses the Likert scale method. For data analysis using multiple regression. The results obtained based on multiple regression analysis tests obtained an F value of 207,759, and a significance value of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05). In particular, self efficacy has a correlation of 0.275 with a significance value (0.014 < 0.05), while work motivation has a stronger correlation of 0.912 with a significance value (0.000 < 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that increasing self efficacy and work motivation significantly contributes to improving employee performance

on the current situation, there are still around 15% of sufferers who suffer from
diabetic wounds, where there is still a lack of awareness regarding proper
diabetic wound care, wound care Diabetic ulcers have changed over time,
changing very rapidly from conventional wound care to modern wound care with
the principle of moist balance, which is called modern wound dressing.
Purpose : Applying modern wound care dressings for healing diabetic foot ulcers
Methods : Using the application of nursing care which describes implementation
related to the Application of Modern Wound Care Dressing with a case study
approach
Results: Modern wound care dressings are effective for healing wounds in
patients with diabetic wounds. This is evidenced by the change in the scores
obtained in the BWAT assessment on the 13 items studied in the three patients.
The results obtained for the first patient before treatment were a score of 46. After
3 treatments the score dropped to 37, for the second patient before treatment, the
score was 52 after After 3 treatments, the score was 48, and the 3rd patient before
treatment had a score of 37. After 3 treatments, the score dropped to 30.
Conclusion : Based on the results of research on wound care using modern
dressing methods, it is effective in accelerating the healing process of diabetes
mellitus foot ulcers.
Suggestion: Wound care using modern dressing methods can be used for further
research using more than one type of primary dressing and can be done
independently by the patient's family

Get PDFBackground: Perineal hygiene is a way to clean the feminine area and if hygiene is not maintained it causes problems in the reproductive system which causes 70% infection due to bacterial vagenosis which often occurs in children and the elderly. This is because a lack of knowledge can create poor attitudes when responding or making decisions related to health, therefore it is necessary to provide health education to improve a person's knowledge and attitudes.
Objective: This study aims to determine differences in knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls before and after being given health education using perineal hygiene video media.
Methods: Quantitative research using a quasi-experiment method, one group pretest-posttest approach, does not use a control group. Using a total sampling technique with a total sample of 93 respondents. The research location was SMA Xaverius 2 Palembang in grades 10 and 11. The data collection tool used a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test.
Result: Based on the results of statistical tests on the frequency distribution of knowledge levels, there was an increase in pretest respondents with 86 respondents (92.5%) with good knowledge and posttest 92 respondents (98.9%) who had good knowledge. Then there was an increase in attitude from the pretest of 57 respondents (61.3%) who said the posttest was positive to 70 respondents (75.3%) who said it was positive. The Wilcoxon test shows that there are differences in the level of knowledge and attitudes before and after health education, the level of knowledge with a p-value of 0.035 < 0.05 and attitudes with a p-value of 0.002 < 0.05.
Suggestion: It is hoped that further research can develop research methods and provide interventions using demonstration techniques with teaching aids so that health education really has more impact than this research

Musi Charitas Catholic University has provided practical work courses allowing
students of the Architecture Study Program to gain knowledge that is not available
in lectures. Practical work aims to enable students to know and understand how the
project implementation process takes place. This practical work activity is also a
means to be able to interact with various professions related to project
implementation. There are many things that become obstacles for people who have
no experience in entering the world of work, because the knowledge gained in
lectures is not necessarily the same as practical work, and the knowledge gained
available is still limited due to space and time constraints.
Practical work will be carried out from 1 July 2022 to 29 October 2022 which
includes designing residences and offices at PT. Bintang Agung Property is located
at Green Resort Housing, Jalan Bypass Soekarno - Hatta, Alang-alang Lebar, Km
12, Palembang. PT. Bintang Agung Property is a company operating in the housing
sector or developer that has experience in handling the development sector
