Studiu privind comportarea unor soiuri de viță de vie apirene la diferite metode de tăiere în uscat
The main aim of the work was to study the behavior of some seedless grapevine varieties (Apiren negru de Grozești, Apiren roz and Apiren Bessarabean) to various pruning methods of the canes at 2+3-4 buds and 2+7-8 buds, the reaction of each variety to the norming of inflorescences/grapes. The parameters characterizing the production and quality of grapes were determined: the average weight of a grape, the yield per plant and hectare, the sugar and titratable acidity content of the must. The results are generalized over three years of study (2019-2021) and, from a statistical point of view, a significant influence of the climatic conditions of the years on the values of the studied characters was found. The significant difference between the variants on pruning length was found only in the accumulation of sugar content for the Apiren roz variety and insignificant in the rest of the characters
Meat fatty acid composition ofwild boars hunted in Romania in relationship to gender and age-class
The present study evaluates the influence of gender and age-class on the carcass traits,
meat chemical composition, and fatty acid profiles of randomly hunt-harvested wild boars from
Romania’s Frasin District hunting area, which is an important part of the stock density management
strategy. Only 76 wild boars were chosen to participate in the experimental design from a total of
94 wild boars hunted over seven winter seasons, based on two main criteria: right carcass part intact
and animal health status (suitable for human consumption) as determined by the veterinary health
notice issued by the Food Safety Authority, with all wild boars being evaluated before slaughtering.
After sanitary inspection and within the first 24 h postmortem, meat samples were taken in duplicate
from the right side of wild boar carcasses (m. Biceps femoris). The aim of this study was to compare
the carcass characteristics, chemical composition, and fatty acid profile of wild boar Biceps femoris
muscle obtained from the right side of carcasses, as well as the effects of gender, age-class, and their
interaction on these traits, in a context where venison is frequently regarded as organic food by
consumers due to the natural habitat in which wild animals live. The age of the animals had an effect
on the postmortem undressed warm and cold carcass weights (p 0.05). Considering the proximal
chemical composition, only the intramuscular fat (IMF) content was higher in adult meat samples
compared to young animals. C18:1 n-9 was the most abundant fatty acid in wild boar meat, followed
by C16:0, C18:2 n-6, and C18:0. For IMF content, gender, age class, and their interaction influenced
mainly MUFA fatty acids, in particular C16:1 n-9, C20:1 n-9 and C22:1 n-9, and also PUFA fatty acids C18:3 n-6, C20:3 n-3, C20:4 n-6, C20:5 n-3, C22:4 n-6, and C22:5 n-6. The appropriate amounts of
individual fatty acids in the muscles of the wild boars translate into a ratio of P/S acids that promotes
health as a bio-alternative resource of meat
The morpho-functional peculiarities of the synsarcosis muscles in red squirrels
In terrestrial species, body propulsion is mostly performed via the pelvic limbs. In semiaquatic species, both pairs of limbs are used in swimming and diving, whereas in arboreal species, the pelvic limbs are used to maintain body stability. Thus, in squirrels, the synsarcosis muscles participate in body propulsion during climbing, as they have well-developed muscular bellies. Among these, the pectoral transverse muscle, which originates along the entire sternum and is inserted on the humeral crest, stands out for its width. The cervical parts of the trapezius and rhomboideus muscles are reduced and their thoracic parts more developed. As a result, muscles such as the occipitoscapularis or atlantoscapularis coordinate forelimb protraction and neck displacement. The serratus ventralis muscle is very well developed and clearly divided into cranial (cervical) and caudal (thoracic) parts; it produces a strong adduction of the thoracic limbs when the parts contract, and when they relax, a large abduction of the forelimbs is produced, enlarging the body size during jumping
Research on the operation of an innovative equipment hybrid drying
The study of the operating parameters of an innovative equipment hybrid drying for cereal seeds is important for drying
technology. An optimal operation of the hybrid dryer model requires the monitoring of essential technological
parameters such as the velocity, temperature and humidity of the drying agent at the entrance to the dryer, as well as the
temperature plus humidity of the drying agent at its exit. The energy consumption of the hybrid drying equipment is
also monitored. Equipping the hybrid dryer with sensors to track these technological parameters is important, and
knowing the accuracy of their measurement both in stationary and non-stationary regimes, leads to the evaluation of the
degree of variability of the acquired numerical data. An important role in the evaluation of the technological parameters
of the installation is also given by the mounting position of the sensors in the hybrid drying installation. The innovative
equipment hybrid drying has both a convective pre-drying component and a final drying component through high
frequency currents (microwaves). In the convective drying component, the cold air is heated in a heating battery with
electrical resistances to a maximum of 44.9°C at an average dryer air inlet velocity of 16.54 m/s. In the final part of the
drying plant, after passing through the microwave component, the maximum temperature reaches 39.3°C. The average
energy consumed in idle operation of the hybrid dryer is 1.52 kWh
Cercetări asupra răsadurilor de pătlăgele vinete fertilizate cu macro şi microelemente
Ensuring an appropriate level of nutrients is very important for obtaining a quality seedling. This study presents some effects on some technical indices in eggplant seedlings that were determined by foliar treatments with different combinations of macro and microelements. The applied treatments consisted in different combinations of Ca, Cu, Mg, in the presence of other macro and micro elements. Foliar treatments with a complex combination of nutrients leads to obtaining a more vigorous eggplant seedling
A preliminary biomedical assessment of a micronized zeolite-enriched canine diet
Natural zeolites are characterized by a high level of ion exchange, adsorption and catalysis, properties that facilitate
their multiple biomedical effects, some long verified and others still little known. This paper aimed to make new
contributions to the formulation and evaluation of canine diets supplemented with micronized natural zeolite. The
research was carried out on clinically healthy dogs (n=24), heterogeneous in origin, breed, age and weight. The study
was conducted following a unicentric protocol for the evaluation of the influence of a diet with zeolite addition on the
main clinical indices and hemato-biochemical profile in dogs as well. The animals included in the study were grouped
into a control batch (n=12) and an experimental batch (n=12), fed (with granulated feed) under similar conditions. The
study lasted 30 days, and the variable was given by supplementing the food of the dogs in the experimental group with
Rupea zeolite (2 grams of clinoptilolite, micronized pulvis). At the beginning and end of the study, hematological and
biochemical tests were performed, and throughout the study, clinical examinations were performed, mainly looking at
the appearance and consistency of the feces. The comparative evolution of individual values of clinical, hematological,
and biochemical blood parameters in dogs fed with zeolite addition revealed oscillations within the physiological limits
of the species and category, except for some significant deviations compared to those found in the control group. From
the overall obtained results, it appears that the implemented diet was well tolerated and that the zeolite had beneficial
influences on the general state of health, also improving the hygiene and well-being conditions of the dogs
Influence of foliar fertilisers on biochemical and physiological properties in Nepeta racemosa Lam.
The purpose of this study was
to evaluate some elements of physiology and
biochemistry in Nepeta racemosa Lam. in
the pedo-climatic conditions of the Moldavian
forest steppe. The parameters were quantified
under conditions of differentiated fertilisation
with three foliar products (KSC 1, KSC 2,
and Corona K). Biochemical analysis by
GC/MS revealed the highest concentration of
the following components: nepetallic acid
(Untreat - 54.33%, KSC 1 - 55.50%, KSC 2 -
56.90%, Corona K - 53.77), eucalyptol
(Untreat . 9.87%, KSC 1 - 10.70%, KSC 2-
12.80%, Corona K - 10.78%), 3-hydroxy-
(4S, 4aS, 7S, 7aS)-dihydronepetalactone
(Untreat - 5.87%, KSC 1 - 5.37%, KSC 2 -
4.87, Corona K - 3.67%), and (4aS, 7S,
7aS)-trans, cis-nepetalactone (Untreat -
4.30%, KSC 1 - 5.00%, KSC 2 - 4.20%,
Corona K - 5.23%). Polyphenols were
present in large quantities in the Corona K
variant, with 33.1 mg GA/g dw at the first
harvest and 27.88 mg GA/g dw at the second
harvest. The highest concentration of
flavonoids was identified in the Corona K
variant (26.34 mg QE/g dw - first harvest
and 56.77 mg QE/g dw - second harvest).
The antioxidant activity was between
14.76 and 38.54% at the first harvest, and
from 12.18 to 22.95% at the second harvest.
Chlorophyll pigments ranged from 13.12-
17.68 μg/ml-1 for chlorophyll a, 5.43-9.66 μg/ml-1 for chlorophyll b, and
2.07-3.34 μg/ml-1 for carotenoids. The
highest grass production per m2 was
achieved in the version fertilised with KSC 1
for both crops, with 986.66 g/m2 for the first
harvest and 861.33 g/m2 for the second.
Iridoids are a class of substances that are
commonly used for pesticide role. The study
aims to highlight these substances and
determine whether differentiated fertilization
influences. The presented data confirm the
results in the literature for polyphenols and
flavonoids, but also present chemotypic
novelties in terms of chemical composition
and represent a direction to follow for future
research
The influence of postemergence herbicide on the main yield components in white lupin (Lupinus albus L.) – cv. "Ruxandra"
White lupin (Lupinus albus L.) is an underutilized crop that started to become extremely interesting for bio and
conventional farmers due the high protein content of the seeds and, mainly, due the nitrogen fixation capacity.
Nowadays, challenging economic environment and changing climate conditions had led to a bust in fertilizers prices
worldwide. Identification and utilization in crop rotation systems of crop with nitrogen fixation capacity is an optimal
alternative. One of the biggest problem in the white lupin cultivation technology is caused by the special sensitivity of
this species at postemergence herbicide. This sensibility makes weed control a very difficult task for farmers. In this
paper we present results obtained in 2022 season at the Ezăreni Farm, Iasi, Romania. Principal yield components were
studied and compared among postemergence herbicide variants. Comparative studies were done using the cultivar

Health status of some sunflower hybrids during 2019-2021 in Cluj county
Climate change is occurring in Romania and interacts with agroecological factors to increase biotic stress in sunflowers.
Furthermore, the uneven distribution of precipitation has increased the chances of infection with necrotrophic pathogens.
Therefore, the main objective of this paper was to study the dynamics of pathogens in the sunflower culture influenced
by both the use of fertilizers and the genetic characteristics of the hybrids, correlated with the economic potential offered
by pedo-climatic condition found in the Transylvania Plains area. The main objective of this paper was to monitor the
health of some sunflower hybrids in different climatic conditions given by the experimental years (2019, 2020, 2021), but
also differentiated fertilization (DAP, unfertilized). Thus, under the conditions of the experimental years, the pathogens
identified were: Plasmopara halstedii, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Alternaria zinniae, Puccinia helianthi, Septoria
helianthi, Botrytis cinerea, Plenodomus lindquistii, Diaporthe helianthi, Verticillium spp., Pseudomonas tagetis. Of these,
only the following pathogens presented quantifiable degrees of attack each year: Diaporthe helianthi, Plenodomus
lindquistii, and Alternaria zinniae. During the experiment, six hybrids were tested each year. The choice of Klarika and
Neoma hybrids to be presented was due to the observed genetic tolerance, which differed considerably from the other
variants of the year
Rehabilitation and modernization of soil erosion control works in Izvoru Berheciului catchement
The research on the technical efficiency of the soil erosion control works applied on the lands in the areas affected by
erosion serves to assess the quality of the design, execution and operation of the works, to improve their maintenance
and to improve the solutions adopted for future development. The area and the intensity of the manifestation of the soil
degradation processes encountered in the studied area determine damages by diminishing the agricultural surface and
crop losses. The analysis carried out in the territory highlights the fact that on these lands it is necessary to intervene
urgently in order to diminish within acceptable limits the manifestations of the degradation processes. In order to
increase the effectiveness of the soil erosion control works, it is considered necessary to repair and modernize the
existing works - received and taken over by the National Agency for Land Improvements Bacau - over time as well as
their completion with new ones. The negative impact in case of non-performance of the proposed works consists in
maintaining the current system of practicing an empirical agrotechnics on a random structure of agricultural crops with
negative effects on the economy of the area, soil conservation, environmental protection and life quality
