“Orange” wine: o revoluție modernă a unei tehnologii arhaice
Over the past few decades, there has been a notable paradigm shift
worldwide, affecting people’s preferences and decisions regarding both food
and beverage options. These factors have sparked a new found fascination
among winemakers, wine enthusiasts, and consumers alike, as they explore the
notion of reconnecting with a bygone era and embracing a lifestyle reminiscent
of the past. “Orange” wine, a product derived from white grapes, encapsulates
the intriguing allure of ancient winemaking methods that trace their roots back
to Georgia. The method enables an elevated presence of phenolic compounds,
which can have a favorable influence on the sensory characteristics of the wines
or their behavior during oxidative processes. Given the scarcity of widespread
knowledge, this overview aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the
historical evolution of winemaking and its various transformations over the
years. It delves into the intricacies of winemaking technology, particularly
focusing on the unique utilization of qvevri vessels. In addition to traditional
sources, this review examines the influence of winemaking technology and the
utilization of special vessels on the characteristics of “orange” wines. It
explores the unique traits that develop in these wines as a result of prolonged
maceration. By considering the impact of these factors, the review offers
insights into the distinct qualities and attributes that emerge in “orange” wines
during the winemaking process
Enhancing the nutritional value of sweet pepper through sustainable fertilization management
Introduction: The need for healthy foods has become a major concern in our modern world, as the global population continues to grow and environmental challenges intensify. In response to these challenges, researchers have started to explore a range of sustainable solutions, including organic farming practices, precision agriculture, and the development and testing of innovative biofertilizers. Consistent with these ideas come the aim of this study, which sets out to give new insights into the cultivation of two sweet pepper cultivars with economic and nutritional importance in Romania.
Methods: Two sweet pepper cultivars (Blancina and Brillant), chemically (Nutrifine®), organically (Orgevit®) and biologically (Micoseed®) fertilized were cultivated over the course of two years (2019 and 2020), between April and October, in high-tunnel, by following a split-plot design with three replications. Production parameters (number of fruits, fruit weight, yield), proximate composition (water content, dry matter, total soluble solids, acidity, ash), the content of phytonutrients (polyphenols, lycopene, β-carotene, antioxidant activity), phytochemical composition (phenolic compounds) and minerals (macro- and micro-elements) were analyzed in order to determine the impact of fertilization on the quality of sweet peppers.
Results: The results showed that the biological and organic fertilizations had a significant positive impact on most of the parameters analyzed, starting with yield and continuing with acidity, phytonutrient content (total phenolic content, lycopene, β-carotene), antioxidant activity and phytochemical composition (chlorogenic acid, p-coumaric acid, quercetin and isoquercetin). Only in the case of mineral content, the chemical treatment gave better results compared with the organic and biological fertilizers.
Conclusion: Overall, this study provides valuable information on the potential of organic and biological fertilizers to enhance the nutritional value of sweet peppers from Blancina F1 and Brillant F1 cultivars, paving the way for subsequent research aimed at achieving superior quality and increased yields
Characterization of the physico-chemical properties of the soil in the experimental polygon in the framework of the Phd thesis "Impact of conservation tillage systems and cover crops on soil quality indicators and yields in Ezăreni farm, Iași"
In this study, initial data is presented in terms of the physicochemical properties of the analyzed plot. In topographic
plot 127a, the following soil quality indicators were analyzed: bulk density, soil moisture (initial and at sowing),
capillary capacity, total capacity and soil pH. To determine the bulk density, undisturbed soil samples were taken, using
cylinders (5 cm diameter, 5.1 cm height) with a volume of 100 cm3
and a bottom cut at an angle of 15°. Bulk density
was sampled from three points on the diagonal and four depths from 0 to 40 cm. Bulk density values ranged between
1.26 g/cm3
and 1.36 g/cm3
. Initial moisture was determined using soil sampling probes and aluminum vials at six depths
from 0-90 cm. Moisture values ranged between 14.92% and 19.82%. After sowing the winter pea crop, soil moisture
was determined in both tillage systems. In the conventional system, the resulting values ranged between 17.95% and
21.90% and in the no-tillage system the values recorded ranged between 10.52 % and 17.89 %. Capillary capacity was
determined in the laboratory on samples collected from the field in metal cylinders. It expresses the amount of water the
soil can hold in the capillary pores. The values recorded had values ranging between 30.90% and 37.6%. Total water
capacity was determined using naturally settled soil samples. This indicates the amount of water the soil holds when all
soil pores are filled with water. The resulting values ranged from 34,21 % to 40,78 %. Soil pH was determined by the
potentiometric method in aqueous suspension. On the 0-20 cm depth the soil reaction is neutral and on the 20-40 cm
soil layer the resulting soil reaction is slightly alkaline

memory, adaptation and tolerance of plants
to the unfavourable fluctuation of humidity
and recurrent drought. The management

Landscape forms – forms of communication structured on the support of a space organization
In the present paper, we start from considering that through space organization and landscaping, there is a permanent
exchange of messages between the living world and the human element, between the world of landscapes and its
perception by human beings. We are also interested in the elements that determine the landscape structure and how they
can be highlighted from a diachronic point of view; therefore, we study the role of human beings in space organization.
In the second part of this paper, we conduct a case study on Land Art, a phenomenon still little studied in our country,
which represents the harmony between working techniques, natural materials in their pure state, and the landscape.

Design of Functional Polymer Systems to Optimize the Filler Retention in Obtaining Cellulosic Substrates with Improved Properties
In the present work, the possibility of increasing the calcium carbonate (CaCO3) content in sheets of paper to optimize their properties was investigated. A new class of polymeric additives for papermaking is proposed as well as a method for their use in paper sheet containing the CaCO3 precipitated addition. Calcium carbonate precipitated (PCC) and fibers cellulose were adjusted with a cationic polyacrylamide flocculating agent (polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride (plyDADMAC) or cationic polyacrylamide (cPAM)). PCC was obtained in the laboratory by a double-exchange reaction between calcium chloride (CaCl2) and sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) suspension. After testing, the dosage of PCC was established at 35%. To improve the systems of additives studied, the materials obtained were characterized and their optical and mechanical properties were analysed. The PCC had a positive influence over all of the paper samples, but in the case of use of cPAM and polyDADMAC polymers the paper obtained had superior properties compared to the paper obtained without additives. Also, the samples obtained in the presence of cationic polyacrylamide exhibit superior properties to those obtained in the presence of polyDADMAC
The study of bread volume determination using the photometric method
The external appearance of the bread is important both for the bread producer and especially for the consumer, it shows that the volume and shape of the bread are the parameters that must be studied with accuracy. Volume changes of bakery products, expansion and contraction occur in the bread making process as a result of transitions and changes that occur over time. The paper aims to determine the volume of three varieties of bread (white bread, black bread, whole meal bread) by the classical (gravimetric) method and the modern photometric method. The results of the determinations show that for white bread a volume difference of 70.34 cm3 minus is obtained with the classic method, for black bread a volume difference of 151.37 cm3 minus with the classic method, and for intermediate bread a difference of 122.93 cm3 in minus with the classic method. From the experimental determinations, a high accuracy is found for the volumes determined by the photometric method compared to the classical method
Observations on the development of fetal attachment retention in intensively breeding cows
The evolution of the puerperium is conditioned by the course of parturition - eutopic or dystocic, but also by possible
placental retention or uterine atony and not rarely by infection with bacterial germs. After parturition, energy
consumption increases with uterine involution, the volume of milk production and the needs determined by local and
general self-defence. The puerperal period is one of the most important stages in the reproductive cycle of cows. Early
and correct diagnosis of conditions during this period can lead to appropriate and more effective treatment regimens.
Research in the literature indicates that special attention should be paid to high milk-producing females, especially in
the intensive breeding system, as it is known that some diseases can easily develop in the genital tract during the
puerperal period. An important aspect of reproduction in cows is sterility or inability to reproduce due to incurable
lesions of the genital tract following dystocic parturitions. The aim of this paper is to complete the existing research and
studies in the literature with some major aspects of reproductive pathology in cows, namely to highlight some of the
factors that can generate the anaesthesia syndrome. In the first year of observation (2021), the incidence of fetal adnexal
retention was 12.4% of the 242 cows monitored, and in 2022 out of a total of 270 cows, 9.6% of females were
diagnosed with this condition. Analyzing the incidence of fetal appendix retention by calendar month, it was found that
in 2021 no cases were reported in August, one case (0.4%) was recorded in June and July, and the highest level was
recorded in February, 2.5%. In 2022, similar incidence of fetal appendage retention was recorded including the highest
level of 1.8% being reported also in February. The incidence of fetal attachment retention in cows correlates with the
level of milk production per lactation increasing progressively with the volume of milk production. Thus, in the year
2021 in cows with milk production ranging between 5000-5500 liters of milk/lactation the lowest level was obtained,
i.e. 0.8% of fetal attachment retention.in the herd of 26 monitored females. Of the 45 cows with milk production
between 7001-7500 l milk/lactation 3.3% of the females showed fetal attachment retention
The production costs and current dimensions of management accounting
Romania's actual accounting system is used since 1994 and is made up of two major categories, namely financial and
management accounting. Both of these are regulated by the Accounting Law no. 82/1991 and Regulation no. 704/1993.
Financial accounting, also named general accounting, is mandatory for all patrimonial units and involves the collection
of all company transactions, as well as their transformation into accounting information. The goal is to synthesize data
and create annual financial statements. On the other hand, management accounting is the second section of the
accounting system and is not mandatory. This one is developed by each enterprise in accordance with its specifics and
needs. Calculating costs is one of the main objectives of management accounting. It is followed by the synthetization of
the results, establishment of the products and services profitability, as well as by the making of income and expenditure
budgets according to the types of activities. Finally, their execution control and data transmittance in order to establish
decisions regarding unit management are developed. Cost accounting or analytical accounting is a way to establish an
information system through which the costs of the products are known
