The nutritional impact upon the development and treatment of the phosphate-ammonium-magnesium urolithiasis
The urolithiasis in cats represent 15% of the total cases with UTD (Urinary Tract Disease) to this species. Out of these, 50% are proving to be composed of phosphate ions, ammonium and magnesium. To date, a multitude of factors that could be leading to the development of this stones are known. However, their treatment and control still representes a medical challenge. The study has been done on a number of 8 cats, 4 castrated males, 2 intact males and 2 sterilised female. The impact of the food that had been fed to the subjects had upon the development of the phosphate-ammonium- magnesium uroliths, as well as the impact of the post-diagnose diet, had been carefully analysed. As a result, the excess of 5 risk factors in the struvite lithogenesis from their daily diet before the diagnosis. Their values had been compared with those found in the speciality literature for the same risk threshold. From the perspective of this pathology's development, the results have revealed in all eight cases an excess of calculogenic factors in their pre-diagnose diet. However, it did not reveal an influence over the struvite disolution. The next step was to study the treatment's evolution from using two commercialy available products, fomulated for the treatment and prevention of the studied urolithiasis. The results have concluded the efficacy in the complete dissolution of the struvite of just one of them

Technical efficiency of soil erosion control measures in Şomuzul mic catchment, Suceava Plateau
The purpose of this study is to establish the technical efficiency of soil erosion control measures in the catchment of
Somuzul Mic. It is located in the southern part of the Suceava Plateau and occupies approximately 9,600 ha.
Natural condition in relation with inappropriate farming techniques causes soil degradation by erosion. Surface erosion
and gully erosion occurs on large surface of agricultural land, arable land and pastures representing the most affected
land use categories.
Somuzul Mic soil erosion control facility is located northeast of Falticeni town and occupies the entire surface of the
Somuzul Mic catchment. It is bordered by the Somuzul Mare soil erosion control facility to the west, the Siret river to
the east, the Lisaura-Liteni soil erosion control facility to the north and the Dolhasca soil erosion control facility to the
south.
It was put into operation in 1979 with a capacity of 9,430 ha soil erosion control measures, 28,35 km facilities for
controlling gully erosion and 56,40 ha terracing, currently about half of the facilities requiring urgent rehabilitation
measures
Influence of the long-term fertilization on the wheat yield, in period 1996-2018, at A.R.D.S. Lovrin
This study aims to analyze the evolution of winter wheat production, between 1996 and 2018, under the influence of 25
fertilization combinations with nitrogen and phosphorus. Nitrogen fertilizers applied have graduations of 0,30,60,90 and
120 kg active substance/ha, and of phosphorus 0, 40,80,120 and 160 kg of active substance/ha. The research carried out on
a typical chernozem in the West of Romania showed that the fertilizers are well used by the winter wheat crop. During the 1996-2018
period, the influence of chemical fertilizers with nitrogen and phosphorus has been studied in a 3 years rotation (soya bean- wheatmaize). Unilateral application of nitrogen and phosphorus bring production increases within the range 573 kg grains/ha -
1016 kg/ha, nitrogen and 282 kg grains/ha - 998 kg/ha, phosphorus. The obtained results highlight the fundamental role
of the combined application of the two types of fertilizers. The optimal dose of fertilizer, from an economic point of
view is N88P122, with a production of 6866 kg wheat/ha
Capacitatea de producţie a unor tulpini de ciuperci din specia pleurotus eryngii
Pleurotus eryngii mushrooms are widely produced for their excellent nutritional and medicinal qualities. This experiment was conducted to investigate the yielding capacity of three P.eryngii strains (Pery-G, Pery-K and Pery-26) cultivated on three variants of lignocellulosic substrate, four replicates/variant. The trail was performed in the mushroom house and the spawned bags (2 kg substrate) were randomized on racks with two levels. Pery-G strain showed the biggest production in the V2variant (75% straws + 20%sawdust + 5% wheat bran and corn flour 1/1) with 544 g/bag (27.20%) and in the V1(95% straws + 5% wheat bran and corn flour), with 534 g/bag (26.70%). Pery-26 strain yielded the best result of the experiment in the V2 with 548 g/bag (27.40%). All three experimental strains yielded the smallest harvests in the V3 variant (50% straws + 30% sawdust + 15% corn cobs + 5% wheat bran and corn flour 1/1)

Evaluating the potential effect of seed priming techniques in improving germination and root shoot length of maize seed
The present research was
conducted under laboratory conditions. The
purpose of research was to investigate the
potential of priming with press mud, peat
moss, sand, gunny bags, compost, farm yard
manure and moringa leaf extract (MLE) on
seedling growth and germination capacity of
maize seed. Untreated or non-primed seeds
were used as a control treatment. Priming
treatments improved germination capacity,
stand establishment and seedling vigor,
compared with control. Priming with
moringa leaf extract enhance germination
and seedling vigor of maize seed, compared
with the control and other seed primed
treatments. In moringa leaf extract primed
seeds, root and shoot growth was improved.
Overall, moringa leaf extract primed maize
seeds performed better than all other
treatments and it could be related by
seedling vigor enhancement and lowering
the mean germination time, due to
imbibition of higher quantity of water and
earlier enzymatic activity. The results
propose that moringa leaf extract priming
treatment had the potential to enhance
germination, stand establishment and early
growth of maize seeds
Topo-geodetic tools optimisation for efficientely behaviour monitoring in service stage of civil engineering structures
Monitoring the behavior in service stage of civil engineering structures is absolutely necessary for ensuring stability and
safety through their exploitation. Achievement of an efficient monitoring process of structures is done by using modern
topo-geodetic methods and techniques which guarantees the correctness of the data with the highest accuracy of the
obtained results. The progress of the equipment area for determining geometric elements, means of calculation and
reporting data influences the upgrade of methods and procedures in topographic measurements. The purpose of this
paper is to implement the theory of decision using qualitative and quantitative criteria in a cycle of observations in
monitoring the behavior in time of a viaduct engineering structure using three different topographical devices. We
proposed a comparative analysis using three topo-geodetic technologies for monitoring vertical spatial displacements.
The accuracy with which the monitoring marks are determined on the viaduct is extremely important for obtaining an
optimal monitoring system over time. The objective described in this paper is in the North- West part of Galati city,
which is a structure over 50 years old with a length of 1.3 kilometers. The viaduct is an important access road DJ 252
(Galaţi-Matca-Tecuci) that links the city of Galati to the platform of Arcelor Mittal steel plant, requiring permanent
monitoring due to the age and the continuous dynamic actions it was subjected to during the exploitation and which can
transmit to the foundation ground important settlings that cause irrecoverable structural degradation
The influence of treatments with different phytosanitary products (fungicides) on the attack of some phytopathogenic fungi and on wheat harvest – andino variety - in 2017 pedoclimatic conditions of the Eastern Bărăgan
This study aims at monitoring the dynamics of the occurrence and evolution of the attack of some pathogenic agents to
wheat – Andino French variety. Among these, we mention: Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici (sin. Puccinia triticina)
which produces wheat’s brown rust and Septoria sp which produces wheat’s brown leaf spotting (septoriosis). Also, the
influence of applying these fungicides on the harvest was monitored, as compared to the untreated control variant. 2
experiments with 4 variants (3 variants with phytosanitary treatment, plus a control variant not treated) were taken into
consideration for this study, for which 3 phytosanitary products were used, as follows: FALCON 460 EC (proquinazid
+ tebuconazole+ prochoraz); MYSTIC 250 EC (tebuconazole); TOPSIN 500 SC (thiophanate-methyl); BUMPER 250
CE (propiconazole). The treatment variants were the following at the first experiment: V1 – FALCON 460 EC – 0.6
L/HA 1 treatment applied at straw’s extension + 1 treatment applied at berries’ filling; V2 – MYSTIC 250 EC 0.5 L/HA
-1 treatment applied at straw’s extension (0.6 l/ha) + 1 treatment applied at berries’ filling (0.7 l/ha); V3 – TOPSIN 500
SC 1 L/HA + BUMPER 250 CE 0.25 L/HA - 1 treatment applied at straw’s extension + 1 treatment applied at berries’
filling; V4 – Control variant not treated. The experiment was placed in Latin square, the 4 variants being placed in 4
repetitions. Among the pathogenic agents under monitoring, Puccinia recondita f.sp. tritici fungus, producing the
brown rust and fungi from Septoria sp. species, producing the brown leaf spotting (septoriosis), had produced the
greatest attacks. The first two leaves placed under the wheat ear had been analyzed for the above. These observations
had led to the conclusion that for all 3 treatment variants, the degree of attack (D.A. %) of the two diseases was more
reduced than at the untreated control variant. The harvests of the treated variants (V1 – 9.14 t/ha, V2 – 9.32 t/ha, V3 –
8.55 t/ha) were higher than the harvest of the untreated control variant V4, being of 8.69 t/ha. The treatment variants at
the second experiment were identical with the ones from the first experiment in what concerns the products used. The
difference consisted in the fact that one single treatment was executed at wheat plants’ blooming at the second
experiment. For this experiment, the harvests were: 8.497 t/ha at the untreated control variant (V4), while at the other 3
variants were: V1 – 9.625 t/ha, V2 – 9.570 t/ha and V3 – 8.442 t/ha
