An Experimental Study of Factors Promoting and Discouraging Sports Participation among People with Disabilities in Japan: Through the analysis of social survey data
Get PDFThis study was used data from a large-scale survey conducted throughout Japan (the “Public Opinion Survey on the Status of Sports Participation” conducted by the Japan Sports Agency) to clarify the extent to which promoting and discouraging factors set on a trial basis influence the “number of days exercising/sporting,” “reason for participating/continuing exercising/sporting,” “trigger for participating (or resuming) exercising/sporting,” and “reason for not participating/continuing exercising/sporting” of people with disabilities. Logistic regression analysis was performed using some of the questions in the survey form as independent and dependent variables. As a result, “liking for exercising/sporting” was considered to be the main promoting factor for exercising/sporting, while “city size (small city),” “age,” and “income” were considered to be the main discouraging factors. It was considered that cultivating the awareness that “exercise/sporting is fun” by being exposed to various sports from an early age will have a positive effect on exercise habits in
adulthood and beyond. Regarding discouraging factors, it was considered necessary to conduct further study focusing on the age and type of disability of the subjects and taking into account factors other than the environmental factors set in this study.本研究は、日本全国を対象とした大規模調査のデータ（（スポーツ庁による「スポーツの実施状況等に関する世論調査」）を活用し、障害者の「運動・スポーツの実施日数」、「運動・スポーツを実施・継続する理由」、「運動・スポーツを実施した（または再開した）きっかけ」、そして、「運動・スポーツを実施・継続しない理由」について、試行的に設定した促進要因・阻害要因がどの程度影響しているのかを明らかにすることを目的とした。調査表の質問項目の一部を独立変数および従属変数として活用し、ロジスティック回帰分析を行った。その結果、運動・スポーツの主な促進要因として「運動・スポーツの好意度」が、主な阻害要因として「都市規模（小都市）」「年齢」「収入」が考えられた。幼少期から様々な種目に触れながら、「運動・スポーツは楽しい」という意識を醸成することが、成人期以降の運動習慣にポジティブな影響を及ぼすことが考えられた。また、阻害要因に関しては、対象者の年齢や障害種を焦点化した上で、本研究で設定した環境要因以外の要因も考慮しつつ、さらなる検討を行う必要性が考えられた。departmental bulletin pape
The Current Situation Regarding the Response to the Life Issues of Students in Hokkaido Municipalities and the Issues Involved in the Deployment and Utilization of School Social Workers
Get PDF児童生徒のいじめ、不登校、暴力行為などが増加を続けている。それらの背景には、学校と家庭、地域、社会における複合的な要因が影響していると考えられる。スクールソーシャルワーカーは、学校、家庭に働きかけ、地域の社会資源なども活用しながら児童生徒の生活課題の解決を支援する。このようなスクールソーシャルワーカーに対する社会的期待が高まりつつあるが、現状ではその配置や活用は進んでいない。本研究では、北海道における市町村教育委員会の学校教育担当者を調査対象として、小中学校による児童生徒の生活課題に対する対応実態とスクールソーシャルワーカーの配置・活用に関するアンケート調査を実施した。調査結果から、スクールソーシャルワーカーの活用がある小中学校において、学校内外の連携に広がりがあること、スクールソーシャルワーカーを活用することによって、その役割の理解につながっていることが確認できた。調査結果を踏まえ、スクールソーシャルワーカーの配置・活用に向けた課題を検討し、現在のこども家庭政策との関連から提言を行った。departmental bulletin pape
