Laser Assisted Plasma Etching Technique for Micro Ball-Endmill Made of Nano-Polycrystalline Diamond
application/pdf論文(Article)A research project was conducted to develop a laser scanning machining techniques that enables to form the Nano-Polycrystalline Diamond (NPD) radius cutting tool in high-speed with a shape accuracy and a radius of round edge are less than 1 μm. Micro ball-endmill with a frank face of free formed shape and combined shape made up of conical face and hemispherical face was fabricated conducting laser machining to the NPD. Also, it has been clarified that by performing dry etching to the NPD micro ball-endmill, the radius of the cutting edge can be formed to less than 1 nm.departmental bulletin pape
Effect of the Galilean Transformation Invariance of Added Inertia Force Term
application/pdf論文(Article)Effect of the Galilean transformation invariance of added inertia force term on mathematical well-posedness of two fluid model equation is investigated on the basis of eigenvalue analysis. Ill-posedness of the conventional two fluid model equation is known well since Lyczkowski et al. pointed it out in 1978. However, the reason for the ill-posedness has not yet been clarified. Eames et al. recently derived a formula of added inertia force term being invariant under the Galilean transformation, while Lyczkowski et al. studied the mathematical well-posedness using a not-invariant formula. The difference of mathematical well-posedness due to the above two formulas is demonstrated for the actual conditions.departmental bulletin pape
Power Loss Calculation Method based on Impulse Model for Power Semiconductor Devices
application/pdf論文(Article)When designing a power electronics equipment such as rectifiers and inverters, it is indispensable to calculate power loss of power semiconductors for estimation of power conversion efficiency, which influences mounting and cooling design of the equipment. In this paper, new approach for power loss calculation of power semiconductors based on Impulse Model is proposed. Proposed method is achieved by MATLAB-Simulink, and then the precision of the method is compared with that of a conventional loss calculation way. As a result, it is proved that the proposed method is practical.departmental bulletin pape

Proposal of the Delay Tolerant Networking by the Adaptive Array Antenna with the Vehicular Locational Predictive Algorithm
application/pdf論文(Article)he recent developments of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) networks have expects us to create new kinds of applications such as the road surveillance system or the safety driving system for the future society. However, it is concerned that the high frequency wireless networks might cause the shorter transmission ranges and the noises from the obstacles. Therefore, this paper proposed the Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) enhanced by the Adaptive Array Antenna (AAA) with the image recognitions, and the implementations of the prototype system are introduced. Then, the experiments of the proposed methods are reported in the paper, and the future studies are also discussed by the experimental results.departmental bulletin pape
Model on Anomalous Temperature Dependence of Dielectric Relaxation Amplitude in Host-Guest Systems
application/pdf論文(Article)Normally dielectric relaxation amplitudes are increased with decreasing temperature. However, some host-guest systems, such as hydrated proteins and hydrated porous media, exhibit anomalous temperature dependence where relaxation amplitude is decreased with decreasing temperature. In order to explain this anomalous dependence, I developed simplified model which consists of polar guests and a host with numerous connecting sites on its surface. Dielectric relaxation amplitude calculated from the model exhibits Onsager type normal temperature dependence in high temperature regime and Arrhenius type anomalous temperature dependence in low temperature regime. According from this model, the anomalous temperature dependence is explained as antiparallel dipolar-dipolar correlation intermediated via host.departmental bulletin pape
Case Study;Leakage of Personal Information as a Result of Defects on Information : A Case of Tokyo District Court dated January 23,2014
application/pdf論文(Article)An interior wholesaler company(X:who ordered the system from Y) claimed system vendor company(Y). The legal basis is the default(Article 415,Civil Code). An enormous amount of personal data which X had been holding, leaked on account of illegal computer access by someone. Then, the system designed by Y didn’t equip even minimum security guard. In this case, the Tokyo District Court partly upheld the claim. In case of information leakage incidents, companies suffer tremendous cost damage by voluntary apology to all customers. However, without apology, the social enterprise value falls. In this article, the author pointed out the “dilemma” problem.departmental bulletin pape
Development of the smart ear monitor system for measurement of physiological indices towards a practical system for the prevention of heat illness: a preliminary investigation of the green light ear photoplethysmogram using an earphone
application/pdf論文(Article)We compared the pulse rate (PR) derived from the ear photoplethysmogram (PPG) using a green light with the heart rate (HR) derived from the electrocardiogram (ECG) as a reference. In 20 young healthy participants (21.7 ± 2.7 S.D. years), simultaneous measurements of the ECG (chest lead II), peak green light (525 nm) PPG, and peak near-infrared light (810 nm) PPG from the two sites of the ear (tragus and helix-crus) and index fingertip, respectively, were made. We used a treadmill for walking task, at speeds of 0, 2, 4 and 6 km/h. The results showed that the PR derived from the green light PPG from the ear significantly related to HR derived from ECG (tragus: r = 0.984, helix-crus: r = 0.972, respectively). In addition, the limit of agreement (± 1.96 S.D.) in Bland-Altman plots between PR and HR were ± 5.960 bpm and ± 7.944 bpm. In conclusion, these findings suggest that green light ear PPG could be the basis of a suitable, practical, method for monitoring PR in normal daily life.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on 3D Map Reconstruction for Monitoring System
application/pdf論文(Article)We are developing an autonomous monitoring framework based on the combined use of a surveillance sensor and a mobile robot. The system estimates a person's pose using the surveillance sensor. When the person falls down, the mobile robot approaches the person and checks his vital condition. However, in order for the robot to approach the person, an environmental map is required. This paper reports a method of 3D map reconstruction using a LRF and a Kinect sensor.departmental bulletin pape
Investigation of Electrical Discharge within Lubricating Film
application/pdf論文(Article)Electrical discharges within lubricating films were investigated using a high-speed camera. Such discharges
are typically observed in camera images as white flashes, or “white points”. These white points sometimes
generate black pits, or “black points”, and some black points may allow electric current to flow. This paper presentssix patterns of white and black points, and compare the mpedances around the white and black points.departmental bulletin pape
