Exploring new exact solutions in the conformable time-fractional discrete coupled NLSE using a novel approach

    No full text
This investigation focuses on the conformable time-fractional discrete coupled nonlinear Schrödinger system (CTFCDNLSEs). This system incorporates a fractional order represented as a conformable derivative. Through the application of the fractional transformation method (FTM), a set of novel analytical discrete solutions is derived. These solutions are characterized by an array of mathematical functions, including trigonometric, hyperbolic, and rational functions. Among these solutions, discrete fractional bright solitons, dark solitons, combined solitons, and periodic solutions stand out. To demonstrate the influence of the fractional-order parameter on the dynamics of fractional discrete solitons, graphical representations are provided. These findings are significant for exploring complex nonlinear discrete physical phenomena

Controllability of stochastic impulsive integro-differential systems involving nonlocal conditions and conformable derivatives

    No full text
In this paper, the controllability of a stochastic impulsive integro-differential system involving nonlocal conditions and conformable derivatives is analyzed. The solution of the system is derived by Duhamel’s formula using Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms. The controllability result for the linear system is proved by using controllability Grammian matrix, and for the nonlinear integro-differential system, fixed point techniques are used. The applicability of the system is verified by means of an example

A new class of integral-multipoint boundary value problems for nonlinear Hadamard fractional differential equations on a semiinfinite domain

    No full text
In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new class of Hadamard fractional differential equation with integral-multipoint boundary conditions on a positive semiinfinite domain. We use the contraction mapping principle and the fixed point index theorem, respectively, to prove the uniqueness and the existence of at least two positive solutions to the given problem. Our results are new and enrich the literature on Hadamard-type fractional differential equations on unbounded domains. Some examples illustrating the main results are presented

    „Baltijos skylė“ – sovietų blickrygas nuo Adutiškio iki Šiaulių (1944 m. liepos 5–31 d.)

    No full text
The article analyses and discusses the course of the Soviet ‘Šiauliai’ offensive operation until the stabilisation of the front line in Western Lithuania (5–31 July 1944). Based on archival documents, it looks at the clashes between the German and the USSR armies, the movement of troops, the precise tasks, and the losses incurred. The activity at the Second World War frontline in the territory of Lithuania in July 1944 were significant both for Lithuania and in the overall context of the Eastern Front, but this topic has hardly been explored in detail in historiography previously

Straipsnyje pristatomas tyrimas, kuriame analizuojamas multimodalinių modelių taikymas automatiniam vaizdų antraščių generavimui lietuvių kalba. Kadangi išsamių lietuvių kalbai skirtų tyrimų šioje srityje iki šiol nėra atlikta, straipsnyje daugiausia dėmesio skiriama naujausiems multimodaliniems modeliams ir jų galimybėms generuoti suprantamus vaizdų aprašymus lietuvių kalba. Eksperimentai buvo atliekami naudojant „Gemma 3“ multimodalinį modelį, kuris buvo adaptuotas lietuvių kalbai QLORA metodu. Gauti rezultatai patvirtina metodo efektyvumą ir galimybę sėkmingai jį taikyti lietuvių kalbos turinio generavimui iš nuotraukų

Quality Evaluation of Large Language Models Generated Unit Tests: Influence of Structured Output

    No full text
Unit testing is critical in software quality assurance, and large language models (LLMs) offer an approach to automate this process. This paper evaluates the quality of unit tests generated by large language models using structured output prompts. The research applied six LLMs in generating unit tests across different classes of cyclomatic complexity of C# focal methods. The experiment result shows that LLMs generated results according to a strict structure output (Arrange-Act-Assert pattern) that significantly influences the quality of the generated unit tests

This research paper analyzes the regulation of artificial intelligence and its use in court proceedings based on legal guidelines from the European Union and the United States. It discusses the potential of artificial intelligence to increase the efficiency of legal processes, optimize case analysis, and ensure transparency of decisions. At the same time, the fundamental risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence are identified: bias, transparency, and the reliability of decisions, as well as who is responsible for errors made by artificial intelligence. The paper examines the challenges associated with the regulation of artificial intelligence and considers whether artificial intelligence should remain only an auxiliary tool or, considering legal and ethical limits, can become an independent entity capable of making decisions.

    No full text
This article analyses one of the most controversial phenomena – Forum Shopping, in which the parties to the proceedings strategically choose the most favorable jurisdiction or court in order to maximise their benefits. The aim of the study is to reveal the conditions, types, and evaluation of this phenomenon in EU and US contexts, and to analyse its positive and negative effects on the legal system. The article concludes that although Forum Shopping in certain cases may encourage the emergence of legal reforms and help ensure economic efficiency, it constitutes an abuse of procedural rights that violates the principles of legal certainty and consistency, contributes to the purposeful delay of proceedings, reinforces the inequality of the parties to the proceedings, and undermines the public’s trust in the legal system. The EU case law analysed in the article firmly limits the phenomenon of Forum Shopping, giving priority to the principles of legal certainty and predictability, while the US case law recognizes some legitimacy of the phenomenon, it has increasingly criticized it as a form of abuse of procedural rights.Šiame straipsnyje analizuojamas vienas prieštaringiausių reiškinių – Forum Shopping, kuriuo proceso šalys strategiškai renkasi palankiausią jurisdikciją ar teismą, siekdamos maksimalios naudos. Tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti šio reiškinio sąlygas, tipus, vertinimą Europos Sąjungos (toliau – ES) ir Jungtinių Amerikos Valstijų (toliau – JAV) kontekstuose bei išanalizuoti jo teigiamus ir neigiamus padarinius teisės sistemai. Straipsnyje daroma išvada, kad nors Forum Shopping tam tikrais atvejais gali paskatinti teisinių reformų atsiradimą ir padėti užtikrinti ekonominį efektyvumą, šis reiškinys laikytinas piktnaudžiavimu procesinėmis teisėmis, kuris pažeidžia teisinio tikrumo ir nuoseklumo principus, prisideda prie tikslingo proceso vilkinimo, sustiprina proceso šalių nelygybę bei griauna visuomenės pasitikėjimą teisine sistema. Straipsnyje analizuojama ESTT praktika riboja Forum Shopping reiškinį, prioritetą teikdama teisinio saugumo ir nuspėjamumo principams, o JAV teismų praktikoje, nors ir pripažįstamas šio reiškinio teisėtumas, vis dažniau jis yra įvardijamas kaip procesinių teisių piktnaudžiavimo forma
