Technological Infrastructure and Employee Capacity of Selected Tertiary Institutions in South-South Nigeria
This paper's main goal is to investigate how technological infrastructure affects the development of staff capability in a few South-South Nigerian postsecondary institutions. Examining the connection between staff productivity and organisational structure at a few South-South Nigerian educational institutions is the particular goal. Resource Based Theory (RBT), created by Birge Wenefeldt in 1984, serves as the foundation for this investigation. For the study, a survey research design was chosen. 346 workers were included in the sample, which was taken from a primary source of data. The developed hypothesis was tested using regression analysis. According to the results of the test of the hypothesis, there is a positively significant correlation between employee productivity and organisational structure (F-statistics = 78.1; R-Squared = 0.793, P>0.05). Based on the results, the study came to the conclusion that staff capability and technology infrastructure in South-South Nigerian tertiary institutions are strongly positively correlated. In conclusion, the study suggests that South-South Nigerian tertiary institutions should be well-structured since this would promote staff productivity and capacity building, which may ultimately result in better performance from these institutions.

Emphasising Philosophy of Education For All in the Employment of Information and Communication Technology in Open Distance Learning for Sustainable National Development
The paper is hinged on the projection of Education for All (EFA) by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to have development possibilities, a course to educate every willing individual; by the provision of educational opportunities) by the new projection of year of 2030, a possibility for every individual to have basic education. In all, due to population expansion associated social and economic developments, there has been a growing and compelling desire by many young people especially and considerable old people, across genders, to achieve tertiary education, and the problems have been that of the necessity and accessibility of such educational facilities due to their localities and their feasibilities, and brings to the fore, the demands for the general adoptability of Open Distance Learning (ODL) arrangement to meet with such objectives of EFA. The concern of this paper assessed the necessity of the employment of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in meeting the EFA objectives through the adoption of ODL arrangement which is peculiar to tertiary education. The paper adopted the descriptive method of analysis. Hence, it considered that ODL arrangement will greatly help, if properly harnessed or adopted by all tertiary institutions to give education to those willing to be educated at any level of learning, as requested by UNESCO from all nations, living in areas distanced from the physical schooling facilities, but they should be met to assess education (teaching and learning) through the aids of efficient employment of ICT modelling, especially online studies platforms, in meeting the target populations, irrespective of their locations and social engagements. The paper concluded that, all objectives of such arrangement should be directed towards the realization of Sustainable National Development (SND) through the provision of qualitative, quantitative and assessable education in line with EFA Agenda.

Gender Dimensions and the Inter-Relationship of Environmental Variables among Secondary School Students in Edo South Senatorial District, Nigeria
This study investigated gender dimensions and the inter-relationship of environmental variables among secondary school students in Edo South Senatorial District, Nigeria. The study was guided by four hypotheses, tested at the 0.05 level of significance. A descriptive correlational survey design was adopted. The population comprised 21,222 Senior Secondary School students, from which a sample of 1,202 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Two instruments were used: an achievement test and a questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, including frequency counts and percentages, were employed, while Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Wilks’ Lambda statistics were used to test the hypotheses. The hypotheses were rejected, indicating significant gender differences and relationship among students' environmental variables. The study concluded that gender influences secondary school students' environmental knowledge, attitude, and practices in Nigeria. The study therefore concludes that gender-inclusive teaching strategies such as hands-on projects, debates, real-world applications should be used in teaching students; and schools should encourage role models from all genders in environmental leadership.

Impact and Challenges of Homeschooling on the Socialization of Primary School-Aged Children in Nigeria
This paper examined the impact and challenges of homeschooling on the socialization of primary school-aged children in Nigeria. The purpose of this paper was to explore the impact and key challenges of homeschooling on the socialization of primary school-aged children in the Nigerian context. The paper acknowledged that homeschooling while offering a range of educational benefits such as the ability to tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of the child and the potential for one-on-one attention, has its unique challenges for the social skills development of primary school children which include limited peer interaction, parental oversight and involvement, sociocultural factors among others. These challenges result to potential consequences on the socialization of the child such as social and emotional challenges which in turn affects the mental health and well-being of the child, academic and professional implications and so on. The paper also suggested strategies to enhance socialization in homeschooling such as promoting structured social opportunities, fostering peer interaction through technology, developing mentor relationships, encouraging extracurricular engagement amongst others. It was concluded that the success of these strategies could showcase how beneficial homeschooling can be, particularly during emergencies that tend to halt school attendance abruptly. This can even prompt advocating for the legalization of homeschooling practice in Nigeria.

Ethical Dilemmas in Academic Staff Promotion in Nigerian Universities – Developing an Equity-Based Evaluation Model
This paper investigates the ethical challenges present in the promotion processes of academic staff at Nigerian universities, suggesting an equity-centred evaluation model as a viable solution. The report conducts a critical analysis of existing frameworks, revealing systemic weaknesses such as gender imbalances, ethnic favouritism, inconsistent evaluation methods, and opaque decision-making that compromise meritocracy and institutional legitimacy. The suggested paradigm presents four fundamental principles: openness, meritocracy, inclusion, and accountability, implemented via defined evaluation measures, bias mitigation strategies, and independent monitoring systems. A comparative comparison with global best practices yields proposals for policy reform, encompassing the standardisation of promotion criteria, compulsory bias training for evaluators, and the creation of grievance resolution channels. The research contends that the adoption of equitable promotion methods will bolster institutional reputation, promote teacher retention, and prepare Nigerian universities for global competition. The findings underscore the pressing necessity for cooperative efforts among university administrators, regulatory agencies, and faculty associations to convert promotion regimes into authentic meritocracies.

Comparative Analysis of Ritual in World Religions
This essay examines the comparative analysis of ritual in world religions such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism and African traditional religion. Ritual is one essential element that cut across religions. Ritual like symbol, vary from one religion to another. In Christianity. Eucharist or Sacrament believed to be prominent is the re-enactment of the last supper Jesus had with His disciples before His arrest and crucifixion. In Islam, it is the Hajj, believed to be one of the most important rites Moslem pilgrims undertake in Mecca. In Judaism, it is the feast of Passover, also known as the feast of freedom; which symbolically reminds the Jewish people of how God delivered them from slavery in Egypt. Remarkable things about ritual in all these religions is that it is believed not only to be real but also make sense to the adherents of these religions. But of paramount importance of it all is that it creates an avenue for communion and communication between the adherents and the object of worship on one hand and among the worshippers on the other hand. The study relied more on secondary sources (published-materials). The study adopts phenomenological approach to describe and interpret the rituals relating to these religions. Findings reveal that ritual has helped to promote religious and social solidarity; enhance the integration of Christianity, Islam and Judaism respectively.
