    livMats Biomimetic Shell Fabrication Tasks

    No full text
This dataset was created to track the steps involved in making the livMats Biomimetic Shell, from design to fabrication. It contains information about the various tasks performed during the assembly of the shell's cassettes. The dataset presents an array of essential tasks, each contributing to the shell's creation: Move home Take tool Store tool Initiate tool Close tool Travel Pick Place Nail Glue Spill glue HALT To carry out the fabrication process, a 6-Axis Kuka industrial robot with a linear axis was used. The robot utilized three tools: Nail-gripper, Vacuum-gripper, and Glue-gun, to accomplish the assembly. For more details about the dataset variables, you can refer to the engineering metadata, which clearly explains each element and its significance. The data is presented in a JSON file, encompassing valuable information for each fabrication task: Job: Each task is associated with one of the 33 fabrication jobs within the process. A fabrication job contains data about tasks performed for 3-4 cassettes together. Name: This refers to the name of the specific task. Actor: The name of the fabrication actor who executed the task. Index: The index of the task in relation to the corresponding fabrication job. OperationCount: This denotes the number of sub-operations within the task, such as the quantity of nails in a nailing task or the number of glue lines in a glue task. startTime: The starting time of the task. endTime: The end time of the task. totalTime: The total duration of the task's execution, measured in seconds. subOperationDuration: The execution time for each sub-operation within the task, also measured in seconds. totalDistance: The overall execution distance covered during the task, measured in meters. supOperationDistance: The execution distance covered for each sub-operation, measured in meters. addedTime: The time elapsed from the beginning of the fabrication job execution. trueIndex: In cases where hardware or software errors occur, task indexes may reset. The trueIndex maintains the actual task index within the fabrication job. desigElement: The number of the design element (cassette) to which the task is related. subDesignElement: The name of the sub-design element (plate/beam) to which the task is related. actorData: This is a dictionary containing data transmitted to the actor for the actual fabrication. The dictionary includes the following key-value pairs: startFrame: A dictionary of frames represented by X, Y, Z, A, B, C. endFrames: A dictionary of frames represented by X, Y, Z, A, B, C. startExternalAxisValues: A list of linear axis values for each frame in the startFrames. endExternalAxisValues: A list of linear axis values for each frame in the endFrames. startAxisValues: A dictionary of axis values represented by A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6. startSpeedLimit: A list of speed limits for each frame in the startFrames. endSpeedLimit: A list of speed limits for each frame in the endFrames. offsets: An array of three numbers representing the offsets for the task in X, Y, Z. </ol

Replication Data for: Realizing Joint Extreme-Scale Simulations on Multiple Supercomputers - Two Superfacility Case Studies

    No full text
This data repository contains input and output files for large-scale experiments conducted on the three German national supercomputers HAWK, SuperMUC-NG, and JUWELS. More structure can be seen when switching to "Tree" view below. Then, the files are structured into three folders (`io-benchmark`, `two-systems, `three-systems`), and the outputs were generated with the following software versions: IO-Benchmark: DisCoTec version e8fad8ae, inputs and outputs both compressed into the same file. Includes file preparation scripts and darshan outputs. The darshan files are also uploaded to https://hpcioanalysis.zdv.uni-mainz.de/traces (search `DisCoTec` in "Application" or `HAWK` in "Cluster), where they can be explored interactively. Two-system experiment: DisCoTec version e81a10589, UFTP copy scripts (in the DisCoTec repository) version 125ce10a5. Three-system experiment: DisCoTec version 46127fe94c1, UFTP copy scripts (in the DisCoTec repository) version 58d1b9ba9. The input files were generated with https://github.com/SGpp/DisCoTec-combischeme-utilities version 88d11fb0, exact commands can be seen from the scrips in this repository. After the combination scheme is assigned to systems, the conjoint file sizes need to be generated as detailed in https://github.com/SGpp/DisCoTec/blob/main/tools/subspace_writer/README.md . The resulting `scheme*json` and `*conjoint.sizes` files are part of the input generator folders uploaded here. The measurements for the I/O benchmark were taken on October 6 2023. The measurements for the two-system setup were taken on September 4 2023 between 14:30 and 15:30. The measurements for the three-system setup were taken on November 8 2023 between 13:30 and 15:00. Raw data are uploaded as .tar.gz files in the respective folder. </p

The data set includes: diagrams/ Values for the load-deformation curve of the numerical simulation used to perform the described mesh study Values for the load-deformation curve of the numerical simulation used to perform the described viscosity study Values for the load-deformation curves of the specimens V1A-V3B compared to the numerical simulation crack_pattern/ Images with the observed crack pattern of each specimen of the three-point bending test at different load stages and at ultimate failure. simulation_input/ Abaqus .inp files that allow the reproduction of the described numerical simulation for different mesh refinements. statistical_evaluation/ Determination of the characteristic value of the shear load-bearing capacity of the specimens according to DIN EN 1990 The experimental data (load-deformation curve V1A-V3B, crack pattern and statistical evaluation) contains measurements from specimens of functionally graded concrete beams where the load and deflection were measured. Further data (load-deformation curves for comparison with experiments, mesh study & viscosity study, simulation input) contains compilated input files and results from numerical simulations conducted with the FE-Software ABAQUS

    D1244 sensor data (February 2024)

    No full text
General information: This dataset contains measurements from the adaptive high-rise demonstrator building D1244, built in the scope of the CRC1244. This 36m high building is equipped with 24 hydraulic actuators providing the basis for its structural adaptation. Strain gauges, pressure sensors and position encoders are mounted throughout the building and used for state estimation and monitoring. Structure of the dataset: Each zip-file contains measurements of one day in the hdf5 format. The hdf5-files in each zip-file contain an array of 244 signals sampled over 10^6 time steps at approximately 200Hz. labels.csv contains auxiliary information on all measured signals, including the sensor type and the sensor's location in the building File contents: Each hdf5-file contains signals of the following types, arranged as stated in labels.csv: strain: strain (in mm/m) in columns and diagonal bracing elements, measured by strain gauges. pressure: pressure (in bar) in the piston side or the rod side chamber of a hydraulic actuator. For actuators in the diagonal bracing, the rod side chamber is permanently connected to the tank. posenc: displacement (in meters) of each actuator, measured by a position encoder. optic: optically measured displacement (in meters) of emitters attached to the building's facade. The building consists of four modules spanning three stories each, and all sensors within a module are connected to a control cabinet, from which all measurements are transmitted. The cameras of the optical measurement system are placed outside the building and transmit their data separately from the sensors within the building. Therefore, there are an additional two signals per module (or camera): timestamp: unix timestamp (seconds since 1st January 1970) of the control cabinet numvars: number of measured variables Missing measurements are marked as NaN. The optical measurement system is currently undergoing maintenance, which is why the corresponding signals are all NaN. </p
