本論文は，遠心羽根車に発生する軸スラスト低減機構の一つとして用いられるバラ
ンスホールを，高軸流レイノルズ数および高回転レイノルズ数の条件において通る流
れを明らかにし，またつりあい室に設けられた J-Groove の軸スラスト低減効果を検証
することを目的として，CFD解析を行った結果をまとめたものである。 
第 2章では，本研究の解析方法について述べる。 
第 3章では，バランスホールの内部流れについて明らかにする。 
第 4章では，軸スラスト低減方法の検討として，バランスホールを設けた遠心羽根
車のCFD解析を行い，その効果について検証する。また，つりあい室に J-Groove を
設けた形状でのCFD解析を行い，軸スラスト低減効果を検証する。 
第 5章では，本研究で得られた知見について述べる。

論文及び審査結果の要旨 
 
化学物質の皮膚感作性を評価する手法は、化粧品や化学品などさまざまな製品の安全性の
確保において非常に重要である。in vitro 皮膚感作性試験法として広く利用される the 
human Cell Line Activation Test (h-CLAT) はヒト単球系細胞株 THP-1 の活性化を指標と
し、ヒトパッチテストや動物実験と高い一致率を示す一方、偽陰性が課題となっていた。本
研究では、再構築表皮モデルと THP-1 細胞との共培養により、生体により近く、経皮吸収
やその過程での代謝を考慮した評価系を構築し、皮膚感作偽陰性物質の評価が改善される
ことを明らかにした。さらに、マイクロアレイを用いた遺伝子発現解析により、共培養に用
いる培地や細胞間相互作用の影響について明らかにした。本論文は五章から構成されてお
り、各章の概要は以下の通りである。 
第一章 序論 
皮膚感作性試験法に関する先行研究が示されている。また、h-CLAT の課題を挙げ、再構

築表皮モデルとの共培養によりこれらの課題を解決できる可能性を説明し、本研究の目的
が明示されている。 
第二章 皮膚感作性評価のための再構築表皮モデル-ヒト単球系細胞株 THP-1 共培養系の
基礎的検討 
共培養に用いる培地や再構築表皮モデルの角化段階が h-CLAT の評価指標である THP-1
細胞の CD86, CD54 発現に与える影響を調査するとともに、被験物質の曝露条件について
検討を行い、共培養を用いた評価系の構築を行った。 
第三章 本共培養系における皮膚感作偽陰性物質の評価改善 
本共培養系において、皮膚感作性陽性物質である 2,4-ジニトロクロロベンゼン、陰性物質
である乳酸、偽陰性物質であるイソオイゲノールの評価を行った。陽性および陰性をそれぞ
れ正しく判定されるとともにイソオイゲノールは陽性と判定され、本共培養系を用いるこ
とで偽陰性物質の評価改善ができることを示した。 
第四章 本共培養系における細胞間相互作用及び培地変更の影響についての網羅的遺伝子
発現解析 
本共培養系における各細胞の遺伝子発現についてマイクロアレイおよびリアルタイム
PCR を用いて定量し、パスウェイ解析や機能アノテーション解析を用いて培地の影響およ
び細胞間相互作用を明らかにした。 
第五章 総括及び結論 
本論文を総括し、今後の展望について述べられている。

論文及び審査結果の要旨 
2025 年 2 月 4 日（火）9 時 30 分より、総合研究棟 W202 室において約 1 時間 45 分にわ
たり、審査委員全員出席のもとで藤野琢郎の博士論文審査会を開催した。 
本研究では、宇宙の初代星の超新星残骸やローレンツ対称性の破れを宇宙マイクロ波背
景放射（CMB）の円偏光観測によって探索することを念頭に、CMB の直線偏光の観測実験
POLARBEAR で取得したデータを用いて円偏光の信号を取り出す試みに取り組んだ成果
が報告された。 
報告の前半では、CMB の直線偏光の観測実験で近年 1/f ノイズの低減のために導入され
ることが多くなった連続回転半波長板が、信号の単なる変調のみならず、その特性を利用し
て円偏光の信号の直線偏光の信号への漏れ込みの定量化が行なえる原理について詳細が説
明された。そして実際に、以前に POLARBEAR 実験で用いられたサファイア製半波長板に

ついて、過去に実験室で行なわれた透過率測定試験のデータの再解析を行なって、円偏光の
信号が直線偏光の信号に漏れ混む割合を評価した結果が述べられた。 
報告の後半では、POLARBEAR 実験で実際に取得された観測データを用い、大気中の酸
素が地磁気の元で放射する円偏光したミリ波の信号を取り出した解析について述べられ、
その結果を同放射の先行研究に依る測定結果とも比較して、円偏光の信号を確かに取り出
せたことが説明された。そして、本研究手法が、現行の Simons Observatory 実験や将来の
LiteBIRD 実験など連続回転半波長板を用いる多くの CMB の直線偏光観測実験に適用可能
であることと、円偏光を観測した場合の感度の予想も示された。 
これらの一連の報告は、本研究内容が普遍的で重要度が高いことを示しており、CMB を
手段とする今後の宇宙素粒子物理学の研究において有用であると高く評価された。発表や
質問への受け答えも良好であり，内容は博士論文として基本的に十分な価値があると認め
られた。 
本研究の成果は、前半の POLARBEAR 実験で用いられた半波長板の特性評価について
は Review of Scientific Instruments 誌に、後半の POLARBEAR 実験による大気円偏光の
観測結果についてはAstrophysical Journal誌においてそれぞれ英文で発表していることに
加え、国際会議の International Conference on the Physics of the Two Infinities と
QUPosium 2023 でも本成果を報告した他、国際共同研究である POLARBEAR 実験および
後継の Simons Array 実験で日常から諸外国の研究者と議論を行なっていることから、外国
語の執筆・会話能力は十分であると判断した。 
 修了要件である必要単位は取得済みであり、博士論文審査会における発表内容、内容に
対する質疑応答も十分であった。 
以上より最終試験及び論文審査は合格であると審査委員全員一致で判定した。

論文要旨 
量子通信は原理的に安全な情報伝送手段として研究されている。伝送系として光ファイ
バが使用されるが、光ファイバ中の損失が伝送距離に関して指数関数的に増大するため、量
子中継器を使って損失を緩和する必要がある。そこで我々は量子中継器を実現する物理系
としてダイヤモンド中の窒素空孔中心(NV 中心)に着目する。NV 中心が発光した光子を隣
接ノードが吸収することで、NV 中心の電子がもつスピン軌道もつれを介して遠隔もつれを
生成することができる。本研究はこれを応用し、量子中継に必要な技術と組み合わせて、NV
中心に吸収された光子の量子状態が NV 中心から発光した光子の量子状態に転写できるこ
とを示す。本研究は高忠実に遠隔もつれ生成が可能となる新たな手法の実証であり、スケー
ラブルな量子ネットワーク構築への道を拓くものである。

審査結果の要旨 
令和 7 年 1 月 15 日（水）午前 9 時 30 分より学位論文発表会を総合研究棟 W202 大会議室
にて開催した。また、午後 12 時より審査委員全員出席の下、同会議室にて審査委員会を開
催した。論文の内容は以下の通りである。量子通信は原理的に安全な通信が可能であるとし
て、研究が行われている。本研究では、長距離量子通信に向けてダイヤモンド中の窒素空孔
中心（以下、NV 中心）を用いた量子中継器の実現として、先行研究の光子干渉方式とは異
なる、光子の発光と吸収を介した方式（発光－吸収スキーム）の実証を行う。本学位論文で
は、最初に発光－吸収スキームの要素技術の実証として、NV 中心の電子スピンと偏光状態
がもつれた光子の発光、電子－窒素のスピンもつれを介した入射光子から量子メモリへの
量子状態転写、炭素スピンを利用した完全ベル測定を実証した。その中で、NV 中心の共鳴
周波数と入射する光子の周波数に離調が存在する場合に、転写レートは減少するものの、忠
実度には明確な影響がないことが確認され、発光－吸収スキームの優位性を示した。次に、
実証した要素技術を組み合わせることで電子のスピン－軌道もつれ及びスピン－スピンも
つれを介して入射光子の偏光状態から発光光子の偏光状態に転写を実証した。この実証に
際し、これまでの課題であった、電子－窒素スピンもつれ状態の保護の手法を開発した。ま
た、実地での量子中継の実証を見据え、平均入射光子数が小さい状況においても、偏光状態
の転写が可能であることを示した。最後に窒素スピン量子メモリに状態を保持することで
将来的に遠隔もつれ生成レートが向上することを示した。予備審査で審査委員より指摘さ
れた研究の独自性に関する説明が不十分という点に関しても、本審査で提案された論文で
しっかり補強されており、学位論文発表会でも説明している。その結果、博士学位論文とし
て十分な内容を有しており合格と判定した。学位論文の審査における質疑応答の受け答え
も良好で、博士論文に関連する分野の科目について博士（理学）の学位を得るにふさわしい

Relationship between Myxomycetes and Collembola on Dead Trees 
In forest ecosystems, dead trees provide habitats and feeding grounds for many 
organisms. The purpose of this study is to understand the interactions between 
Myxomycetes, which form fruit bodies on dead trees, and Collembola, which visit 
them. 
Chapter 1 summarizes the studies conducted to date on the interaction of 
Myxomycetes and Collembola, as well as observations that have appeared in 
publications. Observations are reported about the microarthropods (beetles, mites, 
flies, etc.) that visited Myxomycetes. In the life cycle stages of Myxomycetes, there 
have been many observational and feeding studies of the plasmodium stage and 
members of the Neanuridae family that do not have molars on their mouthparts. In the 
fruiting body stage, laboratory studies have suggested that Onychiuridae sp. may select 
spores as one of their preys. However, few studies have investigated the interactions 
between Myxomycetes fruiting bodies and Collembola, and knowledge in the field 
regarding the animal dispersal of Myxomycetes is still lacking. 
In Chapter 2, we investigated a method for simultaneously collecting Myxomycetes 
and Collembola in order to understand their relationship in nature. Conventional 
methods for collecting Myxomycetes and Collembola separately would result in 
insignificant amounts of specimens being collected, making it difficult to understand 
the target interactions. Therefore, we devised a method to collect the fruiting bodies of 
Collembola and Myxomycetes by suctioning them at the same time and collected them 
on dead trees in a mixed forest in the subalpine zone of Mt Fuji. We confirmed 616 
collembola individuals around fungal fruiting bodies, and 535 collembola individuals 
in a blank control experiment. Preparation specimens were prepared and the insides of 
the digestive tracts of these Collembola were examined using a microscope. Parts of 
myxomycetes asci and spores were observed in the digestive tracts of 176 Collembola 
specimens with fruiting bodies, confirming that Collembola actively ingest 
Myxomycetes spores and select them as a food source. The spore-feeding Collembola 
accounted for 29 % of the specimens. 
In Chapter 3, to further understand the interactions, we evaluated whether the 
number of Collembola individuals that gather is affected by the phenotypic 
characteristics of Myxomycetes fruiting bodies, and whether there is a correlation 
between Myxomycetes traits and the population density and feeding density of 
Collembola. As for the characteristics of Myxomycetes, we focused on the forms of 
fruiting body development, the type of fruiting body, the presence or absence of a stalk, 
and the color and pattern of the spores. As a result, myxomycetes species selectively 
preferred by Collembola tended to have a "crowded" occurrence form, a "sporangium" 
or "stalked" fruiting body type, and "light-colored" or "warted type" spores. The reason 
for this is thought to be that there is a suitable gap between the gregarious, crowded and 
stalked sporangium and sporotheca and the substrate, which can be used as a feeding 
and shelter area. 
In Chapter 4, we hypothesized that spores that adhere to Collembola exuviae or 
through the intestinal tract are transported and germinate, leading to the development 
of the next generation of myxomycetes. Using the families Cribrariaceae, Trichiaceae 
(Myxomycetes), and Isotomidae Desoria trispinata (Collembola) that were abundant 
at the collection site, we conducted germination experiments from spores produced by 
excretion and molting of collembola. In observing germination from exuviae and feces, 
we devised a culture method using preparation slides that allows for long-term, large-
scale culture. As a result, efficient cultivation was achieved. Germination and 
amoebofllagelate cells were observed, the germination rate was calculated, and it was 
concluded that if the conditions were right, it would be possible to cultivate the next 
generation outdoors. 
In this study, the results of excreta and exuvia culture experiments suggested that 
Collembola is in a mutualistic relationship with Myxomycetes and is likely to transport 
spores between them. Myxomycetes spores are eaten by Collembola, which then move 
and excrete them. Spores attached to the body surface are left behind along with 
exuviae. If there is adequate moisture, the spores germinate, forming amoeboflagellate 
cells into plasumodium, which then grow by feeding on bacteria. 
Traditionally, Myxomycetes have been thought to be primarily dispersed by wind 
and rain, but in nature they have been observed to be consumed by animals such as 
beetles and slugs, suggesting that a variety of animals may potentially use them. 
Collembola may disperse spores in nature by both endozoochory and epizoochory, and 
they can be considered to be important dispersers of Myxomycetes. There have been 
no experiments in which germination of Myxomycetes after dispersion was confirmed 
by wind or springtails, and this is the first time such a finding has been made. 
In Chapter 5, we discussed the symbiotic relationship between Myxomycetes and 
Collembola. In this study, we clarified the interaction between Myxomycetes fruiting 
bodies and Collembola. Collembola may disperse Myxomycetes spores both internally 
and externally by endozoochory via feces and epizoochory via exuviae, and in this 
study, we explained the symbiotic relationship between Myxomycetes fruiting bodies 
and collembola. In this way, even organisms that were previously thought to be 
dispersed by wind have begun to study the dispersal ecology of animals, which was not 
generally known. Currently, dispersal by animals is thought to be a form of dispersal 
that complements wind dispersal. However, unlike wind dispersal, where the 
destination of spores is not determined, dispersal by collembola can deliver spores to 
the microenvironment preferred by Myxomycetes.  
In the future, we hope to gain further insight into the interactions between 
microorganisms and microanimals that affect forest ecosystems, the food web of soil 
arthropods based on differences in mouthpart structure, attraction by odour and 
differences in environmental factors in animal food selection, and the relationship 
between spore attachment and transport through the combination of body cuticle hairs 
and spore patterns.
