Pengaruh Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasai Matematis Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
The Influence of Guided Inquiry Learning Towards Student’s Mathematical Communication Skill Junior High School. This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of guided inquiry learning model towards student’s matemathical communication skill. The population of this research was all of eight grade students of SMPN 9 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 180 students that were distributed into 6 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIIA as many as 29 students and VIIIC as many as 29 students class that were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The design of this reserch was the pretest-postest control group design. The analysis data which used was mann-whitney test. The data in this research was quantitaive data that obtained by student’s mathematical communication scale. The Analysis data by using mann whitney test is obtained that guided inquiry learning model influenced student’s mathematical communication skill. Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of The Problem Based Learning Model in Terms of Students Mathematical Communication Skills. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the problem based learning (PBL) model in terms of students mathematical communication skills. The samples of this research were students of VIII D as many 32 students as experiment class and VIII-D as many 29 students as control class which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was obtained by test technique through mathematical communication skills tests instrument which form essay question. Reaserch data analized using One Side Proportion Test and Mann Whitney U test. By the rasults of data analysis the students who got score 71 or more of mathematical communication skill in PBL class were not more than 60% of all students in that class. Gain score mathematical communication skill who treated by PBL more than the students who treated by non PBL. The conclusion of this research is that the PBL model was not effective in term of students mathematical communication skills, but the student’s mathematical communication skills who took PBL was higher than students who took non PBL.keywords: problem based learning, mathematical communication, effectivenes DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v19i2.pp99-11
Efektivitas Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Inferensi dan Penguasaan Konsep Kesetimbangan Kimia
The effectiveness of discovery learning to improve inferencetion skill and mastery concept of chemical equilibrium. The goal of this research was describe the effectiveness of discovery learning model to improve inferencetion skill and mastery concept of chemical equilibrium. This research used quasi experimental method with a pretest-postest control grup design. Sampling was performed by using purposive technique with all of the 11th grade student in SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung as population. This research used two classes as control and experimental class which they were obtained from XI MIA 3 and XI MIA 2 of academic year 2018-2019. The effectiveness of discovery learning was showed by the significant difference of n-Gain between control and experiment classes. The size associated with using effect size. The result obtained size of influence is great. The result of hypothesis testing showed that discovery learning model was effective to improve inferencetion skill and mastery concepts of chemical equilibrium.Keywords: chemical equilibrium, discovery learning model, inferencetion skill, and mastery concepts. Pengaruh LKS Berbasis Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa
The Effect of Problem Solving Based Worksheet to Improve Students Critical Thinking Skill. This research aims to describe the effect of using problem solving based worksheet to improve students critical thinking skills. The research design used is non equivalence pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research were students in class X MIPA 2 as control class and X MIPA 3 as experiment class, which were selected by cluster random sampling. The research data consisting of the values of pretest, posttest and n-Gain. The effect of worksheet to improve students critical thinking skill is calculated using the effect test formula. The results of data analysis and calculations show that worksheets applied to the experimental class have a greater effect than the control class. Therefor, it can be concluded that problem solving based worksheet has been taken effect to improve students critical thinking skills.Keyword: problem solving based student worksheet, critical thinking, electrolyte and non-elektrolyte solution. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Discovery Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of Discovery Learning Model in Terms of Students’ Mathematical Communication Skills. This quasi experimental research aimed to examine the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of students’ mathematical communication skills. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 26 Bandarlampung in even semester in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 233 students, that were distributed into eight classes. By using purposive sampling technique, two classes were taken as the sample that were VII B class as many as 30 students and VII D class as many as 29 students. This research used the pretest-posttest control group design and the data collecting technique was test. The data obtained from this research was the score of students’ mathematical communication skills. Based on the result of -test and proportion test using 5% of significance level, it was concluded that discovery learning model was not effective in terms of students’ mathematical communication skills. Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model Viewed from the Students' Understanding of Mathematical Concepts. This study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in terms of students' understanding mathematical concepts. The population of this study was all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Natar in the even semester of the academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 126 students that distributed into four classes. Two classes were randomly taken as samples with one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. This study used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was obtained through a essay test of the comparison. Data analysis of this research used . The results showed the increasing ofstudents’ understanding of mathematical concepts who took PBL was higher than increasing of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts of who took conventional learning, but the proportion of students who had a well-defined mathematical concept was not more than 60% of students who took PBL. Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Terhadap Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Peserta Didik
The Effect of Discovery Learning Models on Activities and Students Cognitive Learning Outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning on activities and cognitive learning outcomes students of class VIII SMPN 1 Lawang Kidul in "Human Blood Circulation System" materials. The study sample were32 students of class VIII that were selected by cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used a sheet of pretest-posttest and observation sheet of student activities. The design used was nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data on activities were analyzed descriptively, while pretest-posttest and n-Gain values were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average percentage activity was 74.2 with good criteria with N-Gain average that was 0.66 with medium criteria. Thus the application of the discovery learning model has a significant effect on the activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students in "Human Blood Circulation” materials.Keywords: activities, discovery learning, learning outcomes, human blood circulationsystem DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v18i2.pp51-5
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray Ditinjau dari Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of Two Stay Two Stray Model on Students’ Mathematical Communication Skill. This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of two stay two stray model on students’ mathematical communication skill. The population in this research was all students of grade 7th of SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2018/2019 that consist of 352 students and distributed into eleven classes. Through cluster random sampling technique, VII H consist of 32 students and VII J consist of 32 students were chosen as the research sample. This research used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by the essay test of mathematical communication skill on topic of ratio. Analysis of research data used the Mann-Whitney u test and z test. Pengaruh Guided Discovery Learning Terhadap Pemecahan Masalah Matematis dan Self-Efficacy Siswa
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Efikasi Diri Matematika Siswa . Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan efikasi diri siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 12 Bandarlampung tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 299 siswa yang komprehensif dalam sepuluh kelas. Siswa kelas VIII B sebanyak 28 siswa dan kelas VIII C sebanyak 31 siswa yang dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain kelompok kontrol pretest-posttest. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari tes pemecahan masalah matematika dan skala efikasi diri. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji Mann-Whitney dengan . Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa telah terjadi perubahan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan efikasi diri siswa. Perubahan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan data keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan efikasi diri siswa melalui model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing lebih tinggi dibandingkan data keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan efikasi diri siswa melalui model pembelajaran penemuan tidak terbimbing. Pengaruh Project Based Learning terhadap Self-efficacy dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif
The Effect of Project Based Learning towards Self-efficacy and Creative Thinking Skills. This study aims were to determine the effect of project based learning toward self-efficacy and the significant effect of the project based learning toward creative thinking skills. The population of study were all students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. The samples of study were students of grade VII.5 and VII.2 that were selected by cluster random sampling technique. The design of study was the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Data of self-efficacy and creative product were obtained by using the scale of self-efficacy and creative product assessment rubric which were analyzed descriptively while the data of creative thinking skills were obtained by using pretest and posttest scores were analyzed by the Independent Sample t-test at a significant level of 5%. The results showed that the project based learning had an effect toward self-efficacy with high criteria.
