Social-ecological transformation processes through the lens of actors: an analysis of driving and inhibiting factors in organizations
No full textIn dieser Masterarbeit wurde untersucht, welche Faktoren sich auf soziale und ökologische Veränderungsprozesse in Organisationen auswirken. In Anlehnung an die Grounded Theory Methodologie (Glaser & Strauss, 2008) bestand das Ziel darin, transformatorische Faktoren unterschiedlich strukturierter Organisationen zu identifizieren und die Wirkmechanismen dieser zu analysieren.
Dementsprechend war es wichtig, vorbereitend einen theoretischen Rahmen abzustecken und sich mit Forschungen zu „sozial-ökologischen Vorbild-Organisationen“ (transformativen Organisationen) auseinanderzusetzen. Wissenschaftler*innen die zu transformativen Organisationen forschen, haben bereits Erkenntnisse zu den Wirkmechanismen transformatorischer Prozesse gesammelt. Aufbauend auf diesen Erkenntnissen war es möglich, empirische Ergebnisse umfassender zu beurteilen.
Herausgekommen ist, dass einzelne Faktoren in Wechselwirkung zueinander stehen und transformatorische Prozesse entweder beschleunigen oder aber beschränken. Um dies zu veranschaulichen, ist ein Modell („Modell sozial-ökologischer Transformationsprozesse“) gefertigt worden. Innerhalb des Modells werden u. a. die Interdependenzen, Dynamiken und Kontexte transformatorischer Faktoren sichtbar. Ferner wird dargelegt, warum die Komplexität und der Umfang sozial-ökologischer Veränderungsprozesse in Organisationen die Auseinandersetzung mit treibenden und hemmenden Faktoren erfordert. Dies ist der erste Schritt, um Lösungen und Werkzeuge, die zur Überwindung des organisationalen Ist-Zustands notwendig sind, entwickeln zu können.This master’s thesis investigated which factors or aspects affect social and ecological change processes in organizations. Based on the Grounded Theory Methodology (Glaser & Strauss, 2008), the aim was to identify transformational factors in differently structured organizations and to analyze their mechanisms of action.
Accordingly, it was important to set out a theoretical framework in advance and to deal with research on “social-ecological exemplary organizations” (transformative organizations). Scientists who research transformative organizations have already gathered knowledge about the mechanisms of action of transformational processes. Due to these previous findings, it was possible to evaluate empirical results more comprehensively.
The outcome of this thesis was that individual factors interact with each other and either accelerate or limit transformational processes. To illustrate this, a model („model of social-ecological transformation processes“) was created. The model reveals, among other things, the interdependencies, dynamics and context of transformational factors. It also explains why the complexity and extent of social-ecological change processes in organizations require an examination of driving and inhibiting factors. This is the first step in developing solutions and tools that are necessary to overcome the current organizational state

No full textAktuelle Diskussionen über das Zusammenspiel von Sprachbildung, Mehrsprachigkeit und Inklusion finden trotz ihrer disziplinübergreifenden Bedeutung größtenteils innerhalb einzelner Fachperspektiven statt. Dies ist besonders erstaunlich, da sich für die damit verbundenen Fachbereiche Deutsch als Zweitsprache (DaZ), der Migrations- und Ungleichheitsforschung sowie der Sonderpädagogik ähnlich gelagerte Herausforderungen ausmachen lassen. Der Beitrag plädiert, basierend auf einem Überblick zum Status Quo im (diagnostischen) Umgang mit Mehrsprachigkeit im Feld der sogenannten Lern- und Entwicklungsstörungen, für eine stärkere disziplinübergreifende Forschung. Dazu wird ein Forschungsprojekt vorgestellt, welches sich dem Desiderat aus einer disziplinübergreifenden Perspektive annimmt.
Current discussions about the interplay of language education, multilingualism and inclusion occur predominantly within individual disciplinary perspectives despite their interdisciplinary significance. This is particularly remarkable given that similar challenges can be identified across the related fields of German as a Second Language, educational and social inequality research, and special needs education. The paper advocates, based on an overview of the current state of (diagnostic) handling of multilingualism in the field of so-called learning and developmental disorders, for more interdisciplinary research. To this end, a research project is presented which addresses this desideratum from an interdisciplinary perspective
