Pustota(пустота, ru) means a space that is filled with emptiness.
For electronics, there is a recording made out of glasses. For the performers, there is a click track
that is repeating to beat every two seconds. Every ten seconds a voice tells you where you are. (TEN, TWENTY, ...)
Amplification:
All the performers of string quartet should be amplified. 
Mute:
At the same time, they all should have a rubber mute.
Bow:
For viola: from 3'52"-4'00" play with a shell instead of a bow.
Bow/tap:
By 'regular' bow, a constant sound exists. By 'irregular' bow, a rough texture sound exists.
Tap with finger: tap/stroke/touch(as if pizzicato, but only with the surface of your finger skin)
                           with your right hand, second finger on the string.
