ISSN 1810-9136.În ultimii ani, expresiile „retail banking”, „produse bancare retail”, „servicii bancare retail” au devenit foarte răspândite, în mediul bancar, mass-media, literatura științifică de profil etc. În plus, sintagme de asemenea gen, tot mai des, se întâlnesc în actele normative. Cu toate acestea, nu există o înțelegere certă a termenilor respectivi. În literatura de specialitate, pentru definirea fenomenului, se apelează la diferite caracteristici generale și evazive ale acestuia. În același timp, pentru contabilitate, fiscalitate, raportare, statistică, dar mai ales pentru reglementarea prudențială, este necesară o delimitare exactă a afacerilor bancare de tip retail. However, there is no definite understanding of those terms. In literature, in order to define the phenomenon, various general and evasive features are used. At the same time, for accounting, taxation, reporting, statistics, but especially for prudential regulation, an exact delimitation of retail banking is necessary. In order to improve the quality of the services provided, energy providers need to know how consumers perceive quality and what quality they expect to receive from them. In this article, the authors describe the main causes for assessing the quality of services provided in the energy sector of the country and present the views of experts on quality, the participation of suppliers in the delivery process, their interaction with consumers. ISBN 978-9975-155-20-5 (PDF).Family business plays an important role in the economic and social development of most countries in the world, which unfortunately is not always sufficiently visible and recognized. Due to the behavioral and management peculiarities, identified in the multiple international researches, it was found that family businesses represent a specific business model focused mainly on a slow and long-term economic growth strategy. At the same time, the great challenges generated by the rapid changes and evolutions of technological and economic progress impose new standards and requirements on products, services and processes that not all family businesses can cope with.Thus, innovation and intellectual property become important activities that can help family businesses not only survive in these specific conditions, but also become important actors in ensuring sustainable development by increasing the competitiveness of both their own business and the economy of the country of origin. In this article we set out to study the role of innovation and intellectual property as a competitive advantage for family business based on the analysis of the opinions of scientists concerned with this issue and the research of the situation in the Republic of Moldova. We highlighted the importance of these aspects for increasing the competitiveness as a sustaineble stretegy of family businesses and the ways that could apply it. The changes resulting from the crisis have affected various economic branches in a very varied way, giving us a new perspective for analyzing the economic situation in the Republic of Moldova. Thus, this report tends to inspect the banking sector in the context of changes imposed by the current situation, analyzing the activity of the commercial banks during the pandemic compared to previous years, the volume of their assets, credit activity, liquidity and commercial profit under the influence of the dynamics of the interest rate, in order to identify the contribution of financial institutions to alleviating the economic crisis caused by the pandemic. ISBN 978-9975-155-43-4.Nowadays, it is impossible to ignore the problem of environmental pollution. This work provides information on the level of air pollution in Europe, as well as in the Republic of Moldova. Research methods that were used in this work are the study and analysis of science and statistical literature from official organizations (WHO, Eurostat). Moreover, this paper provides information on the consequences affecting human health, including premature deaths around the world. Nevertheless, scientists are making great efforts to solve this problem: organizations, projects and legislative regulations are being created in order to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, and alternative opportunities for human activities that do not harm the environment are being developed. The purpose of this work is to draw attention to this problem, as one of the priorities in the 21st century. JEL: Q53, Q57

ISBN 978-9975-155-42-7.Whether, it is health, political, social or cultural issues, it seems the older generation always forgets they were disobedient and rebellious too, in their youth. Generation gap would not be that serious a problem if families learn to sit over dinner and amicably settle things by ironing out differences and sharing experiences. Family outings, vacations, tours, picnic-outings could be effective ways to initiate intimacy between parents and children. Watching movies and discussing them, putting forth different viewpoints can be a beginning to inculcate the habit of a healthy dialogue between members of the family. Such small things and steps can do wonders in initiating a healthy family atmosphere and reducing friction between two generations that are both right from their perspectives. Their only folly is that they are viewing the same thing from opposite directions. Age, time and experience or the lack of it, forces them to do so. The purpose of this article is to identify the existing types of generations, the major differences in opinions of various generations and where do these differences come from, and how they affect the business area. Maritime transport is a vital sector worldwide and also one of the European Union's priority sectors. The digitalization in maritime transport is one of the important issues for international maritime organizations to achieve the goals of Maritime 4.0. The research methods are applied legal analyses of documents and comparative method. The article examines the reasons and the need for digital data exchange, as well as the benefits of digitalization in maritime transport. Specially attention is paid to the documents on the European level such as EU regulation 123/9 and EU directive 2010/65; and Union’s collaboration between DG MOVE and DG TAXUD reasons to establishing of Single Window for customs and also defined the meaning of the WTO and IMO – Facilitation and Convention main goal of a paperless transfer of information for the development of Single Windows.
