The educational ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova in Covid-19 pandemic conditions = Ecosistemul educațional din Republica Moldova în condiții de pandemie Covid-19. In: 30 years of economic reforms in the Republic of Moldova: economic progress via innovation and competitiveness [online]: The International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, September 24th-25th, 2021, Chisinau. The proper functioning of the educational ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova is directly dependent on the interrelation of a set of subsystems The educational ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova, in grosso modo, is based on sound educational policies, promoted by the state in order to ensure technical and scientific progress in all social and economic spheres and the rally to the international education system. The fulminant development of the society, of the information technology dictates the redefinition of the learning process, including by the extension of the socalled educational ecosystem (learning ecosystem). In the Republic of Moldova, the pandemic has profoundly affected education and aggravated existing social inequities in the country's educational ecosystem. It has been extremely difficult for both children and teachers to adapt to distance learning. The use of information and communication technology (ICT) to ensure the continuity of distance learning has become the main priority of the education system in the Republic of Moldova. However, the pandemic also outlined in the biotopy chapter certain weaknesses (problems) of the educational ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova, including: the limited number of computers available, their condition, the state of the operating system and the logistical planning necessary for it etc. Another problem directly concerns the biocenosis of the educational ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova, a large part of the teachers in the educational system of the Republic of Moldova, in fact many students, found themselves unable to use these technical means. The applicability of the research results derives from the findings made, the stated conclusions, which could serve to draw some development policies and strategies, optimization of the educational system in the Republic of Moldova. Originality consists in elucidation of the problems in the national educational ecosystem by reporting to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of Moldova. TIMOFEI, Olga. Circular business models for increasing product usage. In: Competitiveness and Innovation in the Knowledge Economy [online]: 26th International Scientific Conference: Conference Proceeding, September 23-24, 2022. Chişinău: ASEM, 2022, pp. 74-78. ISBN 978-9975-3590-6-1 (PDF).Economic development and globalization have brought our planet into a dramatic situation both from the perspective of the impact on the environment and from the perspective of the rapid depletion of limited natural resources. The excessive private consumption of the population of most countries in the world, who live in an abundance of material things, is far from sustainable and calls into question the existence of future generations. Population behavior and consumption and production choices have a negative impact on the environment and other people, for this reason the global challenges we face require the development of new lifestyles and business models that would be more sustainable and responsible towards the environment. The need to move in a prompt manner from a linear economy to circular economy practices is rapidly intensifying every year, and this is currently seen as the only solution to slow down the negative developments. The circular economy means extracting value throughout the product life cycle by repairing, reusing, upgrading and recycling products in a profitable and sustainable way, with the aim of reducing the amount of exhaustible resources consumed, the volume of waste generated and the harmful impact on climate. The transition to a circular economy requires a fundamental change in the way we think and use goods. A real change refers to the adoption of business models and behaviors that would also aim to optimize and increase the rate of use of products. In this work, we aimed to describe the main circular business models that can be implemented, highlighting among them those that directly aim to increase the rate of use of products, this being one of the essential ways of transitioning to a circular economy. This paper is written within the state project 20.80009.0807.22. Developing the mechanism for the circular economy creation in the RM. University Performance: How We Define it And How We Measure It

COTELNIC, Ala. University Performance: How We Define it And How We Measure It. Eastern European Journal of Regional Studies. June 2022, vol. 8, issue 1, pp. 21-29. ISSN 2537-6179, E-ISSN 1857-436X.Performance is a current and expanding topic, debated by both academic researchers and practitioners, being a complex concept that can be defined from several perspectives. In this article, the concept of performance is analysed in general and in particular in the university environment. We find that the concept of performance has undergone an impressive evolution in recent decades, because in the beginning, the definitions attributed to performance referred only to financial indicators, but over time, non-financial indicators were taken into account, which proved to be indispensable for the proper functioning of the organization, but especially for higher education institutions. Thus, performance measurement uses specific indicators to differentiate and compare universities, either in terms of study programs or the university as a whole, or for funding (Ministry of Education and Research) or for accreditation and quality assurance. In the article we refer to the performance indicators for the financial stimulation of public universities, which operate under conditions of financial autonomy in the Republic of Moldova. The proposed performance measurement system for the Moldovan universities is a new one, in the making and is being used for two years. A comparative analysis of some indicators is performed. The purpose of this article is to study the essence of the performance in the university environment notion and the methods of measuring performance based on the scientific literature in the field and normative acts. We also analyzed how the performance of universities in the Republic of Moldova is measured and what are the possibilities for improvement.
