Fluorescence and chemiluminescence behavior of distyrylbenzene bearing two arms of dipicolylaminomethyl groups: Interactions with zinc ion and ATP
No full textAvailable online 31 January 2018.The absorption and fluorescence spectral study of the distyrylbenzene bearing two arms of the dipicolylaminomethyl groups, the effective ligands for Zn2+, was studied in the presence of Zn2+ and ATP. Upon complexation of the distyrylbenzene with zinc ions in acetonitrile, enhancement of the fluorescence intensity was observed due to inhibition of intramolecular PET (photo-induced electron transfer) quenching, but no effect was found in aqueous media because the equilibrium laid to the free form of the ligands. In contrast, the addition of ATP disodium salt was effective to enhance the fluorescence intensity of the combination of the distyrylbenzne and Zn2+ in aqueous media. This assembly was applied to the peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence system and a significant increase in the intensity was observed, which provides a potential detection for ATP by chemiluminescence. Combined treatment with a (3)-adrenergic receptor agonist and a muscarinic receptor antagonist inhibits detrusor overactivity induced by cold stress in spontaneously hypertensive rats
No full textAimsThis study determined if combined treatment with the muscarinic receptor (MR) antagonist solifenacin and the (3)-adrenergic receptor (AR) agonist mirabegron could inhibit detrusor overactivity induced by cold stress in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs). MethodsThirty-two female 10-week-old SHRs were fed an 8% NaCl-supplemented diet for 4 weeks. Cystometric measurements of the unanesthetized, unrestricted rats were performed at room temperature (RT, 272 degrees C) for 20min. The rats were then intravenously administered vehicle, 0.1mg/kg solifenacin alone, 0.1mg/kg mirabegron alone, or the combination of 0.1mg/kg mirabegron and 0.1mg/kg solifenacin (n=8 each group). Five minutes later, the treated rats were exposed to low temperature (LT, 42 degrees C) for 40min. Finally, the rats were returned to RT. After the cystometric investigations, the (3)-ARs and M-3-MRs expressed within the urinary bladders were analyzed. ResultsJust after transfer from RT to LT, vehicle-, solifenacin-, and mirabegron-treated SHRs exhibited detrusor overactivity that significantly decreased voiding interval and bladder capacity. However, treatment with the combination of solifenacin and mirabegron partially inhibited the cold stress-induced detrusor overactivity patterns. The decreases of voiding interval and bladder capacity in the combination-treated rats were significantly inhibited compared to other groups. Within the urinary bladders, there were no differences between expression levels of M-3-MR and (3)-AR mRNA. The tissue distribution of M-3-MRs was similar to that of the (3)-ARs. ConclusionsThis study suggested that the combination of solifenacin and mirabegron act synergistically to inhibit the cold stress-induced detrusor overactivity in SHRs. Neurourol. 温泉水を移送して利用する入浴施設におけるLegionella pneumophila Serogroup 4の汚染源および汚染経路の追究
No full text2017年10月、長野県内にある入浴施設の露天風呂浴槽水から、Legionella pneumophila 血清群4（SG4）が検出された。この施設は、入浴施設と異なる場所にある源泉から温泉水をタンクローリー車で移送し、浴用として使用していたことが特徴的であった。浴槽水の汚染源および汚染経路を明らかにするため、L. pneumophila の分離を試みたところ、源泉の温泉水をタンクローリー車へ注入するホース外側表面、タンクローリー車タンク内部および入浴施設側温泉水受入タンク貯留水からL. pneumophila SG4 が検出された。分離菌株のパルスフィールドゲル電気泳動法による泳動パターンは一致しなかったものの、源泉の温泉水を注入するホースの外側表面に付着した本菌が、露天風呂浴槽水の汚染源になり得ることを示した。なお、本研究は、タンクローリー車のタンク内がL. pneumophila の汚染源になる可能性をわが国で初めて報告するものである。Article信州公衆衛生雑誌 13(2): 73-80(2019)journal articl
長野市糖尿病性腎症重症化予防保健指導の力量形成にかかわる取組経過と課題
No full text要旨：平成29 年10 月から国保特定健診の結果、糖尿病性腎症重症化リスクが高い対象者を抽出し、重症化予防保健指導に取り組んでいる。しかし、本事業により新たに対象となった治療中の患者への保健指導については、医療との連携等に関する従事者のスキル向上が課題であった。そこで、平成30 年度に「生活習慣病予防対策ワーキング」が中心となり、課題の整理や医師等を交えた事例学習会、検討会を開催し、保健指導の力量形成に関する取組を展開することで、従事者が「事業をこなす」という意識から重症化予防の重要性を理解し、かかりつけ医等と連携した保健指導の実施により重症化予防の徹底に向け日々取り組んでいる。Article信州公衆衛生雑誌 14(1): 26-27(2019)journal articl
長野県内保健所における保健医療分野の卒然実習・卒後研修の実施状況に関する調査研究
No full text要旨：長野県内保健所における実習・研修の実施状況および受け入れの実態および課題を明らかにすることを目的に、県内保健所11 ヵ所に対してアンケート調査を行った。11 ヵ所全ての保健所より回答があった。調査より、県内保健所は地域医療人材の育成に関与しており、座学の割合が低く、実践的な実習・研修となっていることが明らかとなった。一方、マニュアルが整備・利用されていない点、一部の実習・研修で座学の割合が高い点、受け入れが負担となっている点などの課題も見られた。Article信州公衆衛生雑誌 14(1): 42-43(2019)journal articl
Associations between the distance covered in the incremental shuttle walk test and lung function and health status in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
No full textBackground: Field walk tests such as the incremental shuttle walk test (ISWT) are simple tests for assessing the degree of disability in individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In the present study, the correlations between exercise performance in the ISWT, lung function, and health status were examined in patients with COPD of varying seventies. Methods: A retrospective examination of 277 COPD patients was performed using the ISWT and lung function tests along with assessment of health status using St. George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ). In addition, we assessed the correlations between the walking distance, lung function parameters, and SGRQ scores. Results: ISWT distances were poorly correlated with lung function parameters and SGRQ scores in mild COPD patients. In contrast, ISWT distances were significantly correlated with pulmonary function parameters, such as vital capacity (%predicted) and forced expiratory volume in one second, and SGRQ scores in moderate and severe COPD patients. Conclusions: The ISWT is more independent of health status and pulmonary function in patients with mild COPD compared to moderate or severe cases. Therefore, the exercise capacity of patients with mild COPD should be estimated by the ISWT. (C) 2016 The Japanese Respiratory Society. Published by Elsevier B.V.
