Bulgarian singing folklore – a way for formation and building of moral values in children in kindergarten
No full textThe report considers Bulgarian song folklore as a possible way and means for the realization of the aesthetic education and overall development of kindergarten children. Emphasis is placed on the need of current educational programs to look for ways and appropriate conditions for its adaptation to the educational process. An attempt has been made to look for a parallel with the developed system of education and training of adolescents until the end of XX century. Some of the successfully designed programs and teaching aids from the establishment of the first kindergarten to the present day are being considered
Experimental interactions between rhythmic structures characteristic of Bulgarian musical folklore and Brazilian popular music
Get PDFThis text presents a brief overview and observationsof practical experience, applying rhythmic synthesis and mixing of uneven dimensions of Bulgarian musical folklore and some characteristic musical styles in Afro-Brazilian popular music. Polyrhythm and polymeter can also appear as some ways of interpretation. In open educational concerts in Sao Paulo, Brazil, many interactions between Brazilian musical genres samba, baiao, patido alto and Bulgarian dances paidushko, rachenitsa, daichovo and kopanitsa were discussed as well as alternative ways of their perception. The aim of this study includes opportunities for development, new applications and creative collaboration between musicians of different cultural backgrounds by experimenting with alternative methods of conducting the rhythmic variation
The Italian Musica Leggera – meaning and associations with the media industry
Get PDFThe topic of the importance of the Italian Musica Leggera as part of the world popular music culture is a subject of modern musicology and the study of popular culture, media etc. The aim of the present study is to interpret the essence of the phenomenon and to analyze how and why Musica Leggera forms its specificity and becomes a mainstream and model for the development of popular music culture. The report presents the meaning of the genre and the connections of the term with similar concepts in the musically popular. The origin, the places of development and the factors for its distribution are described contributing to the deep understanding of the reasons for the influence that Musica Leggera has on the entertainment (pop/â€estradaâ€) music in Bulgaria and in other countries. The space of radio, television and the Internet are shown as means of disseminating Musica Leggera in the modern media industry, but they are also an integral part of the essence of this phenomenon, which has specific artistic merits and aesthetic functions

Remediating fantasy narratives for participatory fandom: Tolkien’s stories and their translations in films, video games, music and other products of the culture industries
Get PDFThe phenomenon of fantasy transmediality (Rebora 2016) has been discussed by many researchers and scholars during the last decade. The need for the creation of alluring cultural products in the highly competitive new media environment has led to synergies between many cultural industries and/or cultural producers, such as film, music, literature and videogame industries, etc. Many well-known and fan-developing narratives have been remediated – repackaged and redistributed – through the various media, answering to the contemporary nostalgia of pastness (Williams 2016), the cherishing of the familiar and intimate, as well as the need to further popularize “a pre-conceived merchandising industry” (Ball 2002), create new side-products for a fan community or even offer escapelands, which fantasy narratives succeed in creating. This paper will examine the translation and adaptation of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings (LOTR) to different media and cultural industries, such as:- Peter Jackson’s films, - role-playing games (RPGs), - the music industry – with reference to well-known songs and bands.Through comparative analysis of certain segments of the LOTR industry market and comments made by fans on digital platforms, the paper underlines the basic story elements of the Tolkien universe, as adapted to each above-mentioned variant and examines the role of fans in the digital semiosphere

No full textThe draft Law on the Bulgarian National Radio and Bulgarian National Television, prepared by the author of this article, reflects the experience gained during the 23 years since the adoption of the Radio and Television Act (RTA), retaining all the positive features of the current media law. It fills some gaps and removes shortcomings. It takes into account the comments of the expert community as well as the current state of European media law and the case law of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria. Ensures the independence of BNR and BNT from external interference through a balanced system of internal authority. Ensures transparency and accountability in the activities of the public media and thus guarantees their stability

The existing exchange arrangements in the world are reviewed in the paper and the exchange arrangements in Bulgaria since 1990 are discussed as well
