Réalité socio-politique et poétique de la résistance chez les autrices roumaines: le cas d’Oana Orlea
The writings of Oana Orlea reflect a troubled historical period in her native country, Ceauşescu’s Romania, and a painful personal experience lived within this historical context. Situated on an uncertain boundary between referentiality and fictionality, the novel Un sosie en cavale creates a space of resistance to oppressive power structures, a refuge where personal memories are intertwined with historical and cultural reminiscences. Both through her autobiographical narrative Les années volées and her novel, the author is part of the intellectual community that asserts the duty to bear witness, so that future generations may understand the marks of totalitarianism on both the individual and society. Keywords: resistance literature; totalitarian regime; Balkans; violence; memoryThe writings of Oana Orlea reflect a troubled historical period in her native country, Ceauşescu’s Romania, and a painful personal experience lived within this historical context. Le dialоgue arts plastiques/scène théâtrale dans Le désir attrapé par la queue et Les quatre petites filles de Pablo Picasso
The paper examines the relationship between Picasso’s pictorial style and the text of his two plays Desire Caught by the Tail and The Four Little Girls. The analysis of the plot consisting of heterogeneous segments, the improbable and rather strange characters, as well as the study of the discourse texture, lead to the conclusion that the distorted vision of the world and the use of formalistic Cubo-Surrealist principles (burlesque, fragmentariness, illogicality) account for the similarities between Picasso’s paintings and theatrical works. The important role of the pictures in the semantics of the plays allots them an intermediary place between pictorial techniques and literary writing. Keywords: Pablo Picasso; painting; dramatic text; pictorial techniques; Cubo-Surrealist principles; dramatic structure; dialogic discourse; stage directionsThe paper examines the relationship between Picasso’s pictorial style and the text of his two plays Desire Caught by the Tail and The Four Little Girls. Dialogues générationnels et solidarités féminines à travers l’écriture
The aim of this article is to draw parallels between two French-language writers: Senegalese Mariama Bâ (1929–1981) and Swiss-born Anne-Lise Grobéty (1949–2010), through their convergent appropriations of dialogicity. More specifically, the paper examines the generational dialogues staged through the prism of an explicit feminine claim, women’s fellowship, “sororities” in writing, as well as certain interactions between women’s writing and the readership in their novels. The adopted perspective, which is both comparative and gendered, makes it possible to sketch out a similar vision of female empathy and solidarity in the body of work of the two women writers. Keywords: Anne-Lise Grobéty; Mariama Bâ; dialogue; women’s solidarity; women’s writin
Fotografía y literatura en Las babas del diablo de Julio Cortázar
The article examines photography in Blow-Up by Julio Cortázar from the point of view of its representation, its functions, and its relationship to literature. While making use predominantly of close reading, the analysis also takes into account some reflections of the Argentinian author on the topics in question exposed elsewhere. A conclusion is reached that despite their distinct differences, photography and literature collaborate in the field of knowledge: they are both represented as means to reach the truth, as well as in the field of ethics: they both serve the moral engagement of the protagonist. Finally, the fantastic irruption of the character into the blow-up allows for aesthetic interpretations, as well. Keywords: ekphrasis; photography; fantastic literature; Julio Cortázar; Blow-U

Religious Imagery and Motifs in the Works Adapted into Bulgarian during the National Revival Period
In the paper, an attempt has been made to comment on the adapted (Bulgarianised) works from the mid-19th century in connection with the contextualisation of the creativity of popular Bulgarian Revival writers, such as Joachim Gruev, Rashko Blaskov and Petko Slaveykov. These works, standing on the border of translations and original literature, contain religious motifs and are closer to the worldview of the Bulgarian recipient. Also, the study considers whether there is a change of religious concepts from the original work and draws attention to typical Bulgarian constructs that express the significance of the spiritual experience. Keywords: religious motifs; fiction; contextualisation; adaptation; Bulgarian Reviva
Dialogues entre les espaces littéraires: de la notion d’« autofiction » chez Vladimir Zarev et Zachary Karabashliev
The article focuses on the slow entry of the term autofiction in Bulgarian literary critique. Our interest in this notion has been elicited initially by its large presence in French- and English-speaking critique from the end of the 20th century, and also by the fact that there are contemporary Bulgarian works that can be labelled as autofiction.Having appeared in the 1970s, the term demonstrates great vitality and has also been applied to works from previous periods. Similarly, even if it is just emerging in contemporary Bulgarian critique (the second half of 2010s and the early 2020s, mostly concerning works of Bulgarian authors published abroad and later translated into Bulgarian), it is applicable to earlier Bulgarian works. For the aims of the present study, we have analysed two novels: Vladimir Zarev’s Ruin (Разруха) (2004) and Zachary Karabashliev’s 18% Grey (2008).Keywords: autofiction; contemporary Bulgarian literatureThe article focuses on the slow entry of the term autofiction in Bulgarian literary critique.
