Da incerteza à esperança - ensaio de uma soteriologia narrativa: uma releitura teológica do motivo da incarnação
No full textThe Christian experience is marked by unpredictability and risk. This was especially felt in the later Middle Ages, during which the image of God underlying religious experience contained within itself the contours of the unpredictable and the insecure, for no one could give the believer the certainty of being saved, always exposed to the gratuitousness of grace. What theology felt in the Middle Ages corresponds to the essential core of the Christian kerygma and is therefore valid today as well. The kerygma proclaims that salvation is offered to all men, for God wants all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (cf. Tim 2:3). With reference to, among others, the biblical figures of Noah\u27s ark and Peter\u27s boat, patristic theology saw the Church as a safe space of salvation. We owe the famous axiom salus extra eclesiam non est to Saint Cyprian of Carthage, and the Second Vatican Council proclaims that the Church is an efficacious sign and a sure place where salvation can be found (LG 8). We live in hope, not in the assurance of salvation. Soteriology is marked by this uncertainty and radical insecurity. Rather than being certain of salvation, the Christian must humbly invoke the grace of being numbered among the elect. The present study, an essay of narrative soteriology, aims to be a contribution to give reasons for hope. The movement from uncertainty to hope evokes the trajectory of human existence as such and also of the abyssal risk of love, even of the human and divine dying of love, where the meaning of life is decided.A experiência cristã está marcada pela imprevisibilidade e pelo risco. Isto foi especialmente sentido na Idade Média mais tardia, durante a qual a imagem de Deus subjacente à experiência religiosa continha em si os contornos do imprevisível e do inseguro, pois ao crente ninguém podia dar a certeza de estar salvo, sempre exposto à gratuidade da graça. O que foi sentido pela teologia na Idade Média corresponde ao núcleo essencial do querigma cristão e vale, por conseguinte, também para hoje. O querigma proclama que a salvação é oferecida a todos os homens, pois Deus quer que todos se salvem e cheguem ao conhecimento da verdade (cf. Tim 2,3). Tendo como referência, entre outras, as figuras bíblicas da arca de Noé e da barca de Pedro, a teologia patrística via a Igreja como espaço seguro de salvação. Deve-se a S. Cipriano de Cartago o célebre axioma salus extra eclesiam non est e o Concílio Vaticano II proclama que a Igreja é sinal eficaz e lugar seguro onde a salvação pode encontrar-se (LG 8). No entanto, a Igreja não garante a ninguém a salvação, pois esta é um dom de Deus e não uma certeza adquirida. Ninguém pode ter a certeza de um desfecho positivo da própria existência. Vivemos na esperança, não na certeza da salvação. A soteriologia está marcada por esta incerteza e radical insegurança. Mais do que estar certo da salvação, o cristão deve humildemente invocar a graça de ser contado entre os eleitos. O presente estudo, um ensaio de soteriologia narrativa, pretende ser um contributo para dar razões da esperança. O movimento da incerteza à esperança evoca a trajectória da existência humana enquanto tal e também do risco abissal do amor, mesmo do humano e divino morrer de amor, onde o sentido da vida se decide

No full textThis book includes chapters on the history of journalism and the media (press, radio, and television) and digitalization and new media (publishing, blogs, and video games) in Portugal. This book also highlights the analysis of journalism at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, especially the professional career of several well-known journalists on the cultural scene at the time, the history of the first ten years of the SIC television channel, and the analysis of political party congresses through television news. The history, the sociology of journalism, and ethnography with recourse to content analysis and participant observation were the sciences used in these texts. Other chapters reflect the author\u27s research on trends and mutations in the national media over the last 35 years.O livro tem capítulos sobre história do jornalismo e dos media (imprensa, rádio e televisão) em Portugal, digitalização e novos media (edição, blogues e videojogos). Destaques para a análise do jornalismo na passagem do século XIX para o XX, sobretudo do percurso profissional de vários jornalistas com notoriedade no panorama cultural da época, a história dos primeiros dez anos do canal televisivo SIC e a análise de congressos dos partidos políticos através das notícias da televisão. A história, a sociologia do jornalismo e a etnografia, com recurso a análise de conteúdo e observação participante, foram as ciências convocadas para estes textos. Outros capítulos reflectem a investigação do autor sobre tendências e mutações dos media nacionais nos últimos 35 anos
Poesias de Ossian: antologia das traduções em português
No full textoai:openbooks.ucp.pt:publicationFormat/18In 2010 we are celebrating the 250th anniversary of the publication of the first Ossian text by James Macpherson: Fragments of Ancient Poetry collected in the Highlands of Scotland and translated from the Galic or Erse Language (1760). It is difficult to underestimate the impact Ossian had on German and French letters, arts, and cultures, but for a long time, the influence of this work in Portugal was ignored by critics. The present volume brings together two studies that frame this phenomenon, which goes far beyond literary borders, in the context of European and Portuguese culture. For the first time, this anthology brings together several poems attributed to the Scottish Bard, collected from 19th-century Portuguese works and magazines. In Portugal, Macpherson\u27s texts have never been published in their full length, except the epic Fingal, also included in this edition.Em 2010 comemoram-se os 250 anos da publicação do primeiro texto ossiânico de James Macpherson: Fragments of Ancient Poetry collected in the Highlands of Scotland, and translated from the Galic or Erse Language (1760). É difícil subestimar o impacto que Ossian teve nas letras, artes e culturas alemãs e francesas, mas durante muito tempo a influência desta obra em Portugal foi ignorada pela crítica. O presente volume reúne dois ensaios que enquadram este fenómeno que largamente ultrapassa as fronteiras literárias, no contexto da cultura europeia e portuguesa. A antologia dos textos traduzidos junta pela primeira vez várias poesias atribuídas ao Bardo escocês, recolhidas de obras e revistas portuguesas do século XIX. Em Portugal os textos de Macpherson nunca foram publicados na íntegra com excepção da epopeia Fingal, também incluída nesta edição

As this is a vast and diversified field of subjects with a practical approach, we have started by marking out several key areas such as the management of human and financial resources, and marketing, which we consider structural from an administrative point of view. We believe that this aspect should not assume, as sometimes happens, any less positive connotation. With the Museum becoming one of the most popular, sought, and demanding cultural institutions, it becomes necessary to look at the management of resources as a quality response to essential questions: which methodologies, which criteria, which models, and which instruments. That is the survey attempted in this paper. Professionals will determine its usefulness.Com este livro pretendemos contribuir para um estudo sistematizado de aspectos essenciais relativos à gestão dos museus portugueses. Tratando-se de um vasto e diversificado campo de matérias com um evidente lado prático, começámos por balizar as diversas áreas-chave como a gestão dos recursos humanos e dos recursos financeiros, e o marketing, que consideramos estruturantes do ponto de vista administrativo. Entendemos, assim, que esta vertente não deve assumir, como por vezes sucede, qualquer conotação menos positiva.
