Get PDFtext紀要論文 / Departmental Bulletin Paper人口減少や高齢化が進む我が国では、持続的な日常生活を維持するために地域住民が主体となり生活に必要なサービス等を提供する共同（協同）組織が注目されている。共同店は高齢化が進む集落の購買機能や福祉的機能などの生活基盤を支える重要な存在であり、その役割について改めて考察する必要がある。本調査では、共同店の運営状況を把握し、共同店が地域に果たす役割について検討することを目的とした。 本調査では、調査協力を得られた大宜味村を調査対象地とし、共同店の運営状況について既存資料を用いて整理するとともに、共同店スタッフへのヒアリング調査および共同店における観察調査を行った。 調査の結果、各共同店が地域やスタッフの特性に応じて独自の機能を持つことが明らかになった。A 共同店では店内にフリースペースを設けており、地域行事の拠点としても活用され、多くの住民が関与していた。このように、共同店は地域のニーズを直接受け入れる場となり、住民同士の相互ケアの拠点として機能していると考えられる。日常的な買い物を通じて生まれる相互ケアの意識が重要であり、今後はこのケアがどのように生み出されるか、そして店主の属性や住民との関係にもとづく違いにも注目していく必要がある。departmental bulletin pape
An Introduction to ‘Practical Perspective’, A Lecture by J. M. W. Turner
Get PDFtext紀要論文 / Departmental Bulletin PaperJoseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) is well recognized as an eminent landscape painter from Britain working in the late eighteenth century and the first half of the nineteenth century. He also had a significant role as a professor of perspective appointed in 1807 for the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Duties for this professorship included giving lectures for young students studying at the academy to establish a great school of fine art in this nation with less acclaimed accomplishments in the history of fine arts. Turner first started a series of six lectures in 1811 and the third and the fourth lectures were dedicated to ‘Practical Perspective’ where he introduced different theories of perspective in history and discussed how they could be applied to painters’ practice. Although his lectures have never been published, different manuscripts for these two lectures are housed in the British Library as a part of their Additional Manuscript collection. Two of the manuscripts, one for the third lecture (Add. 46151 F) and one for the fourth (Add. 46151 G) are the earliest versions of the two lectures, which Turner himself made by his hand-writing at around 1810. In these lectures, Turner introduced different perspective theories from the Continent and Britain from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries including Joshua Kirby from whom he borrowed illustrations to make his diagrams to present in his lectures. He introduced two main methods of perspective, ‘parallel perspective’ and ‘angular perspective’, both of which he considered fundamental for young painters to acquire as ‘the ground work of our art’ to achieve excellence. However, as he mentioned, the significant point that painters had to notice was that the appearance of nature and the rules of perspective can contradict each other. Turner persuaded students to understand that rules of perspective were not so absolute as to strictly follow or obey but just basements for their practice in and observation of nature. This was what Thomas Malton, a master giving tuition of architectural drawing to Turner in the 1780s and 1790s, taught this young and ambitious painter, who later became a professor to pass down the idea to the next generations.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFtext紀要論文 / Departmental Bulletin Paper本論文では、英語のFLEECE母音は伝統的な長母音//ではなく、二重母音//として表記するのが最適であるというGeoff Lindseyの提案に関する音韻論的妥当性を論じた。この母音は、著名な音声学者の間では、音韻的二重母音ではなく、音声的わたり音として記述されている。FLEECE母音を含む単語としてteaを選び、この語を含む自然発話を収集し、音響分析した結果、フォルマント周波数の変化において、音素的な解釈を支持する統計的有意性は認められなかった。さらに、FLEECE母音を含む英語の母音に関する先行研究、基本母音１番のフォルマント周波数の変化、学習者にとり読みやすい表記、リンキング[j]の表記など、検討すべき点があり、Lindseyの提案に対して、その実用性と正確性に関して疑問を呈した。FLEECE母音の表記には、伝統的な/i:/の方が適切で教育的に望ましいと結論付けた。departmental bulletin pape
