Physical activity during recess in four Arizona elementary schools

    No full text
Data were collected using direct observation with the System for Observing Play and Leisure in Youth. This file includes information about four school sites where data were collected and movement information averaged by school. Methods for processing the data: Original data were entered by hand onto paper recording sheets and then transferred to an online Excel sheet for data management and analysis. The final data were averaged across all observation periods to represent mean contextual and behavioral information. README documentation file provides a variable list and additional information

Systematic Observation Tools for Physical Activity

    No full text
These Excel files are management tools for data collected using the paper versions of the System for Observing Play and Leisure in Youth (SOPLAY), System for Observing Play and Active Recreation in Communities (SOPARC), and System for Observing Play and Leisure in Youth - Shade and Nature (SOPLAY-SN). The templates auto-calculate mean statistics for physical activity and contextual factors. Instructions are provided for each tool as downloadable Word documents or PNG image files. See README for additional information. When downloading the tool , select MS Excel Spreadsheet from the download options to access and use the files in the correct format. Methods for processing the data: Each file is a blank, auto-calculating template.</p

Replication Data for: Refueling Infrastructure Preferences and the Adoption of Alternative-Fuel Vehicles

    No full text
Revealed Preference Survey of FCV Buyers in California. Survey of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle owners in California about the locations of the hydrogen stations they intended to use when they purchased their vehicle, and how their usage of particular stations changed over time. The data was analyzed to understand how buyers evaluated the sufficiency of an early and sparse network of stations in deciding whether to purchase a vehicle.</p

Replication Data for: Courtship of the Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly

    No full text
The data support a manuscript describing the detail of the courtship behavior of a swallowtail butterfly and a test of the hypothesis that the male's behavior in courtship has evolved to enhance the visibility to the female of his brilliant and highly directional iridescent color signal. The data are summarized in spreadsheets and metadata. README documentation files provide the methodology and variable information. Lucy Terminal Tracking Camera (TTCam) Pre-flight Calibration Data

    No full text
This dataset contains an archive of pre-flight calibration data for the Terminal Tracking Camera (TTCam) imaging system on the NASA Lucy Discovery mission to explore the Trojan asteroids of Jupiter. Dr. Hal Levison from the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, CO, is the PI of the Lucy mission, and Professor Jim Bell from ASU is a Co-I and the Investigation Scientist for the Lucy TTCam instruments. Managed by the Southwest Research Institute (SWRI) in Boulder, CO. and funded by NASA. Bell's ASU contribution to the mission is funded via a subcontract from SWRI with ASU grant number GR21824 and ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration Cost Center number CC0497.</p

Supporting Data for: Chromium on Mercury: New results from the MESSENGER X-Ray Spectrometer and implications for the innermost planet’s geochemical evolution

    No full text
Research data supporting Chromium on Mercury project and the paper "Chromium on Mercury: New results from the MESSENGER X-Ray Spectrometer and implications for the innermost planet’s Geochemical evolution," in the Journal of Geophysical Research. The primary underlying data is archived by NASA Planetary Data System (PDS). This subset includes additional data (one spreadsheet and eighteen images) not archived by NASA. The spreadsheet contains the fitting results for 133 MESSENGER XRS flare spectra reported in Nittler et al. (Chromium on Mercury: New results from the MESSENGER X-Ray Spectrometer and implications for the innermost planet’s geochemical evolution). As discussed in the paper, the Cr/Si and Fe/Si ratios are corrected for the phase angle effect. Both corrected, and uncorrected data are provided for Cr/Si. Error bars are one-sigma. Errors are statistical, and systematic error bars may be larger. MXRS data are available from the NASA PDS. Dataset contains 18 images, 1 spreadsheet - 'crflaredata.csv,' and 1 README documentation file providing the methodology and variable information. Approximately 3 megabytes.</p

2023 ASU Polytechnic Arboretum Biodiversity and long-term soil carbon sequestration

    No full text
Soil carbon content measurements dataset from 16 long-term research plots at the ASU Polytechnic Arboretum. As part of Cynthia Sagers's Biology 182 class, measurements are taken annually for ten years. These measurements occurred between February 16th and 17th, 2023. These data were collected as part of a general lab exercise with all 148 students participating. Only data from lab sections for which C. Sagers was present are included. Outlier values (>4.0%) were dropped when calculating the mean. Funded by the ASU Sustainability Initiatives Revolving Fund (SIRF), which invests in projects that foster and enable sustainability efforts and provide an economic return on investment. This project seeks to beautify the botanical walk while working towards ASU’s sustainability and carbon neutrality goals. File List: [Arboretum Soils Data.tab] Contains results from Year 1 of arboretum soil sample processing. [ABS 550 Soils Methods.docx] Methods provided to BIO 182 students for soil processing. Arboretum_plots.pdf] Map of arboretum plot boundaries.</ol

Replication Data for: Ultra Low Cost Carrier Airports 2019

    No full text
This dataset contains all of the final dependent and independent variables for replicating both regression analyses (logit and OLS) in Taplin et al. (2023)'s analysis of 2019 Ultra Low Cost Carrier (ULCC) service at the airport level. The rows of the dataset are Part 139 airports that had commercial, non-charter airline service in 2019. The final sample sizes are: n=471 for the logit regression (using all Part 139 airports in the lower 48 states with and without ULCC service); and n=178 for the OLS regression (using only those with ULCC service). This research is partially funded by the Graduate Research Award Program on Public-Sector Aviation Issues of the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), which is administered by the Transportation Research Board (TRB).</p

The All of Us Research Hub contains a wide variety of datatypes, including survey responses, measurements, biosamples, electronic health records (EHRs), and data from mobile health devices from participants who are healthy as well as experiencing illness. The Registered Tier curated dataset contains individual-level data, available only to approved researchers on the Researcher Workbench. The Registered Tier currently includes data from electronic health records, survey answers, and physical measurements taken at the time of participant enrollment. Only authorized users who have registered with the All of Us Research Program can access the Registered Tier data. Authorized users also can access tools such as the Cohort Builder, Jupyter Notebooks, and Dataset Builder

Supplemental data for Approximations to the Voice of a Cochlear Implant: Explorations With Single-Sided Deaf Listeners

    No full text
Single-sided deaf listeners fit with a cochlear implant (CI) were presented a clean signal to their CI ear and then an altered version of the clean signal to their normal hearing ear. The patient was asked to report how the signal to the normal hearing ear needed to be modified to sound like the signal in the CI ear. Two visual files show the test procedure. (mp4) The audio files are of matches to CI sound quality. (WAV)</p
