    "225. A street in Chinatown, L.A.", photograph, by Frank L. Park, Los Angeles, circa 1898. The view is from the middle of a dirt street, perhaps Apablasa Street, looking westward. Densely, tightly packed one and two-story wood and brick buildings line both sides of the street, the north side of which has electric poles at intervals. Some structures have banner-like signs with Chinese lettering on them. In the distance in the Plaza Church and atop Fort Moore or Poundcake Hill is the county courthouse. The caption is in white on the bottom edge of the image, whjich is mounted on green board. The photo has minor scratches and stains and part of the left corner is dented, while the board has minor wear, so the overall condition is good

    A large format cabinet photo of a Latino wedding party, Borgia Studio, Los Angeles, circa 1920s. The image shows the party of six, including the bridal couple seated and the other two couples standing behind them. The men wear corsages and the ladies hold fbouquets, while another bouquet and two pillows are on a rug on the floor. The photo comes in an ornate portfolio with the studio name and address stamped on it. The folder has some stains, abrasions, soiling and rubbing, but the photo is largely free of wear, so the overall condition is good

They are both dressed in traditional American Indian attire and have their left hands raised as Emma Higgins, the woman on the right, administers the marriage license oath as deputy clerk. The photograph is in fair condition, minor loss, delaminating and surface soiling

    A studio portrait of two women belonging to the Los Angeles Branch of The Knights and Ladies of Security, a fraternal organization which began in Topeka, Kansas in 1892. The photograph was taken at the Old Mission Studio in Los Angeles, 1912. The full length portrait shows two women standing at three quarter view, facing left, in their uniforms consisting of a plumed cap, coat with a long cape, full length dress and heeled boots. Emblazoned on the collar is "No. 737." The photograph is set into a brown paper folder with a embossed decoration on the outer flap. The photograph is in good condition, but the folder is tearing at the fold
