The aim of this article is to discuss aspects of the intersection between Media Education and Journalism in the fight against disinformation, especially that which uses Artificial Intelligence to produce false content. From this perspective, the methodological procedure chosen was a case study, with content analysis applied to two events of content manipulation by mediated AI: the first an image representation of the Pope in a puffer jacket and the second audio manipulation simulating a statement by the mayor of Manaus (Brasil). Critical relationships were established about the implications of these practices and the full exercise of citizenship and democracy. To this end, we started with key concepts such as disinformation and Media Education, journalistic ethos and Artificial Intelligence, until we reached the ethical and pedagogical parameters of the journalist in their professional praxis. As a result, based on the analysis of two manipulations produced with generative AI, we point out that Media Education, exercised by Journalism, must provide the tools to critically read the contents, interests and consequences of this disinformation for the prosumer public. We also point to the need to invest in formal and informal education to develop practices, popularize tools and strategies to combat disinformation like a risk to contemporary democratic societies.O objetivo deste artigo é discutir aspectos de intersecção entre a Educação Midiática e o Jornalismo no combate à desinformação, em especial aquela que utiliza a Inteligência Artificial para produção de conteúdos falsos. In this article, onto-historical structures are proposed as elements of the Field of Historicity. With this, a historical traceability is established with the world of Dasein. We will name such onto-historical structures as historical ropes, and these will be composed of historical strings that will be deployed as the historical basis of Dasein’s temporality.

In theatrical performances, the textual and extratextual elements included in the written work not only are important, but also the scenery, which includes, in addition to the costumes, their accessories, which are collected in a 1616 inventory that is preserved in the Provincial Historical Archive of Valladolid. Although this document includes information on garments of all kinds, references to the fabrics which were used to make said costumes or the props that actors and actresses could use in the various theatrical performances, in this work we will focus exclusively on one of the parts of the dress, the accessories, which were used both as decorationand to protect the rest of the attire. All this material was intended for hire, so it is a very valuable document whose analysis will be essential to understand the accessories of the Golden Age theater costumes included in this inventory and were appreciated in the Valladolid theater productions of this period.

With these lines, we pay tribute not only to the artist, but also to the man who devoted his life to clay, color, tradition, and teaching. His work bears witness to a Seville that loves ceramics, respects it, and, thanks to him, keeps its artistic memory alive. The world of ceramics and Sevillian art mourns the loss of Alfonso Carlos Orce Villar, a prominent artist, researcher, and teacher, who died on August 15, 2025, in his hometown of Seville. Born on July 17, 1959, in the historic neighborhood of Triana, Alfonso Orce Villar grew up surrounded by the tradition of ceramics. The grandson of renowned ceramist Enrique Orce Mármol, Alfonso was introduced to clay, glazes, and kilns at a very young age, learning the craft from the ground up. His passion for the arts led him to earn a degree in Fine Arts in 1987, and in 1994 he defended his doctoral thesis on the work and legacy of his grandfather, entitled “Enrique Orce, the rise of Sevillian ceramics,” contributing to the knowledge and preservation of the region's ceramic tradition.

Baden, Switzerland has a long-standing association with its thermal waters, which have been enjoyed for their healing properties since Roman times. However, the progressive privatisation of their hot springs has left the local population without access to public bathing facilities, culminating in the closure of the last municipal bathhouse in 2012. In response, the Bagno Popolare collective launched a series of urban activism actions to recover bathing as a collective practice, combining historical research, ephemeral interventions in public spaces, and negotiation with the authorities. In 2021, this process of temporary architectures was consolidated into a permanent project called Heisse Brunnen (Hot Fountains), which returned a free, open-air thermal water infrastructure to the area. Its design, based on full-scale spatial tests and the integration of thermal water as a common good, proposed an innovative model of urban bathing. This intervention redefined the relationship between the city, the body, and water, challenging the logic that water is a mere resource that can be privatised. This article analyses how the Heisse Brunnen project materialises water as a device for encounter through architecture, exploring the historical context, the initiators of the project, the consolidation process, the design strategies, the impact on everyday life, and its potential as a model for future infrastructures. The Bagno Popolare experience raises key questions about the right to water and the role of architecture in shaping water as a common space in the urban context.

his article, framed within a broader research project on the peri-urban area that stretches along the Ebro downstream from Zaragoza, analyses some of the transformations undergone in recent decades by the city’s huerta. Since the Islamic period, its privileged location at the confluence of the Ebro, Huerva and Gállego rivers favoured its economic and social vitality. This condition has shaped a characteristic peri-urban landscape with rural settlements, road systems and ‘torres’. However, this valuable eco-cultural heritage is currently under threat from fragmentation and decline — direct consequences of uncontrolled urban expansion and the depreciation of agricultural and animal husbandry. This research approaches the study of the aforementioned area from a twofold perspective. First, by highlighting the cultural heritage value of this irrigated landscape through the recovery of abundant documentation (travellers’ accounts, drawings, photographs) that confirms its historical significance. Second, through a comparative cartographic analysis, by identifying some of the changes experienced in the study area that reveal both the risks of degradation and the potential of the peri-urban huerta as a socio-economic and environmental resource. Finally, an interactive map is presented as an operative contribution.

The large-scale invasion that Russia launched on 22 February 2022 continues to find its echo in the academic world, as it undoubtedly represents the most notable example of two contrasting interpretations. Given the imbalance of power between kyiv and Moscow in favour of the latter, the start of the invasion lent great credibility to the classic thesis of deterrence, according to which Russia was taking advantage of the weakness of a West unwilling to defend Ukraine. This reading is diametrically opposed to the interpretation according to which Russia reacted to what was perceived as a threat from the West.

This paper explores Lope de Vega's political ideas as expressed in his theatrical works. In this respect, it reviews the political interpretations of his plays and then analyzes the political reflections made in three of his plays, El príncipe perfecto (Parts I and II) and El Duque de Viseo. All three have a single leading character, King John II of Portugal. The first portrays a tyrant and the other two the perfect Christian prince. The last part of the paper analyzes how dramaturgy and theatrical reality determine the way in which politics and political thought appear in Lope de Vega's work.

The scientific literature and previous research show that families of gifted children tend to compensate for the deficits in meeting the educational needs of the group, making use of a multitude of resources and extracurricular activities. The objective of this study is to quantify and measure the amount of these curricular activities and their impact on the quality of life of families of gifted children compared to families of non-gifted children. The methodology is a survey experiment involving 160 families in Seville: 80 families with gifted children (experimental group) and 80 families with non-gifted children (control group). The results show that gifted children attend almost twice as many extracurricular activities per week as their non-gifted peers, and the cost to their families is four times higher. This is perceived by mothers of gifted children as detrimental to their quality of life and overburdens their free time, as measured by the GENCAT and ZARIT scales. The scientific literature and previous research show that families of gifted children tend to compensate for the deficits in meeting the educational needs of the group, making use of a multitude of resources and extracurricular activities.
