Universities, and the role they play in society, are under threat from the impact of the ongoing pandemic. To improve the teaching and learning process and to deliver quality education, there are numerous promising technologies for higher education. As these are complex and expensive technologies, a decision for their use must be based not on technological hype but scientifically validated outcomes. One of the biggest benefits of integrating technologies in education has been the increase in accessibility for students. Today, more people than ever before have access to learning material and the latest curriculum due to the advent of cheap internet and smartphones. Technologies made learning available to everyone, everywhere, and all the time and enabled teaching to occur in a variety of formats, including massive open online course, webinars, and standard online degree programs. This paper provides an overview of these new technologies that have considerable developments and noticeable impact on higher education moving forward

In the current military-political environment, the widespread use of nuclear, chemical and bacteriological weapons in the development of military conflicts is unlikely, as this would lead to the self-destruction of civilization. Modern local wars and armed conflicts are an increasingly common form of armed conflict between warring parties within a country. In the context of armed struggle without weapons of mass destruction, the decisive role will belong to conventional means. These are types of weapons that do not use chemicals, biological agents or nuclear reactions to destroy the target or inflict damage on an object. These include both small arms and artillery systems for area fire, high-precision weapons, tanks, and anti-tank weapons. An important place among them is occupied by small arms

The political and economic situation in the Republic of Nort Macedonia and the declarative commitments of the EU for the European future of the country, are a serious geopolitical challenge for the EU and an opportunity for the penetration of China\u27s interests in the region. In fact, China\u27s strategy is present in all Western Balkan countries and we can perceive it primarily through the One Belt One Road Initiative (OBOR) or known as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the 17+1 cooperation platform as a framework, for the implementation of Chinese projects. The above two serious projects contribute and have contributed to the change in the perception of China\u27s foreign policy capacity. The Covid pandemic has only further strengthened China\u27s influence globally, in the context of the global struggle for dominance in the production of vaccines against Covid 19. This paper aims to show how North Macedonia, as a small country, is positioned within the geostrategic interests of China expressed through the initiative known as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the 17+1 cooperation platform, but also in the context of the current Covid situation

In order to identify the risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and dangers of terrorist attacks, it is necessary to make a safety risk assessment before the security process begins, more precisely when the security operational plan is being compiled.
