    MISSING. EUGENE VEDDER, son of V. H. Vedder, on Thursday; Nov. 12th, 1896, at about 5PM., left his home, 17 Milton Street, Cleveland, without the consent of his parents, and no information of him has since been received. Young Vedder is 14 years old; about 5 feet 2 inches in height; weighs about 110 pounds, and slimly built; very light golden hair and blue eyes. He was well dressed in single breasted sack coat, of pepper and salt Scotch worsted goods; knee pants of light gray; black stockings; black shoes and a Scotch corduroy cap.     On the evening of Monday, March 23, 1896, two men named John and George Ures, with a woman named Minnie Dye, aged about 20, kidnapped Josie Gandv, aged 13, of Galena, Kansas. The parties were traveling in a spring wagon, with new oil cloth top, driving a sorrel horse and cream-colored horse. John Ures is low heavy set, with sore eyes. George is slender with big mouth. Both are well armed and are undoubtedly thorough ruffians. Josie Gandy has light hair and blue eyes and looks to be much older than she is. Arrest and hold and wire to C. L. RAINS.
