80 Years of Transportation Progress-A History of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway
The project was inspired by the 1986 sesquicentennial of Texas’ independence from Mexico. Lila Coley was a member of the Colleyville Sesquicentennial Book Committee. Coley and others The documents and photographs in this collection were compiled in the mid-1980s as research material for Colleyville 1855-1956, a book on the history of the Tarrant County, Texas community of Colleyville. on the Committee collected research material and edited and published the book. After the book was published in 1986, Mrs. Coley collected and preserved the research material and other records of the book project. In June of 2013 she donated her collection to the Tarrant County College District Archives
