A Rationale for Task-Based Learning
Get PDFResearch into second language acquisition (SLA) strongly indicates that there is no direct relationship between what is taught and what is learned. Language acquisition and mastery of grammatical forms does not necessarily develop in a predictable sequence that can be consciously controlled. Language acquisition is dependent on unknown natural processes. Learners acquire language in their own time when they are developmentally ready. The teacher, the lesson, or the learner cannot dictate when acquisition will occur. A task-based learning (TBL) approach attempts to work with the learner's natural developmental processes. It aims to help learners to think about meaning first and to use language as a means to reaching a non-linguistic outcome similar to that of a real-life situation. The need to express meaning is believed to stimulate interlanguage development. After learners have experienced the language in an attempt to complete a task their attention should be directed toward formal properties of the language within that experience. Neglecting to give attention to language form can lead to a reliance on inappropriate use of the language and communicative strategies, which may result in premature fossilization.departmental bulletin pape

A Study of Career Design in Jobu University
Get PDF現在、大学教育においてキャリア教育がカリキュラムに組み込まれつつある。企業においては社員のキャリアテザインが重要な人事施策になっている。また、大学においては学生の職業選択支援や資格取得支援など学生に対するキャリア教育、キャリアデザインの必要性が高まっている。また、社会人では生涯学習としての地域活動のリーダー、蓄積された経験・技能の社会還元の視点からのキャリアデザインの必要性が高まっている。従来の大学教育課程においてキャリア教育は就職講座やインターンシップが中心的なものと捉えられてきた。上武大学では、従来行われてきた就職講座を大幅に改革し、学生の自己実現を支援するキャリア教育として、平成16年度より「キャリアデザイン」科目を導入した。 当研究では、大学教育においてキャリア教育の必要性、国外国内のキャリア教育の現状、企業や大学でのキャリア教育の実践的な取り組み、上武大学で実施した「キャリアテザイン」の考え方と内容、今後のキャリアデザインの課題について考察する。
Recently career education has been actively adapting to its school curriculum at many Japanese colleges and universities because of high needs to help students to get jobs and various qualifications. Whereas for profit seeking organizations, career design for their employees has become important issues in terms of personnel management. Necessity of career education has been increasing for community leaders as well through life-long learning process and contributing their accumulated experiences and skill to their society. In the past, career education at colleges and universities has done by focusing on the placement services and internship programs. However, at the Jobu University, reforming the past placement related curriculums and introduced the Career Design in regular curriculum to help students to design life- long self realization processes from 2004 or the year of Heisei 16. In this article, we assert the necessity of career education at college level, and also analyze the present status of career education at other countries and practical application of other colleges and organization. We also put together the way we conducted the career design and its contents, and various problems we faced when we carried out the program of career design at the Jobu University.departmental bulletin pape

Suggestion About the All-national Investor System : Consideration About SRI of Japanese Model
Get PDFわが国では特に組織が共同体化しやすい。そして共同体的組織には内的制御が掛かりにくいという特性がある。この弊を矯めるには、「外的」制御を掛けるしかない。企業の場合、それは主として投資家サイドからする企業選択として現われよう。ただし投資行為自体は本来内部行為なので、内外一体的な制御と言ってもよいだろう。これを強力なかたちにすべく、私は国民皆投資家制度を提唱したい。これは単に企業の不祥事防止策と言うにとどまらず、新しい経済社会システムの鍵概念ともなるであろう。なぜならば、近代経済システムでは諸企業が結果的に経済社会を構築規制しているが、これによれば、国民的社会的規模で経済社会を自覚的にセルフコントロールすることができるようになるからである。そしてこれは近年欧米できわめて活発に議論されかつ実行されてきている社会的責任投資(SRI)という概念にも整合的である。SRIの到達点ないしそれを美しく完成させるものではないだろうか。 結局、国民皆投資家制度を中核として、く企業の共同体化に伴う弊、新しい経済社会システム、SRI>という一見異なる三つの領域の議論は、まとまりを示すことになる。departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Career Education for Career Development Collaborating with Company and University
Get PDF現在大学教育においてキャリア教育がカリキュラムの中に組み込む取り組みが活発に行われている。長引く不況で企業では少数精鋭、即戦力となる人材、国際ビジネス経験または留学経験のある人材を求める傾向にある。このような状況によって、新卒の採用比率は減少の傾向にある。現在の社会や企業が求めている人材を供給することが、大学教育の大きな使命であろう。一般にキャリアとは職歴、経歴という意味に捉えられる。当研究ではキャリアについて考察し、大学教育においてキャリア教育をどのように推進したらよいか、企業や大学での実践的な取り組みを参考に具体的なキャリア教育のあり方を提案する。
Recently career education has been adopting into curriculum actively in many Japanese universities. Companies tend to recruit only useful, experienced job-applicants and those who have worked or studied abroad professionally under-protracted economical recession. As a result of this phenomenon the recruitment ratio of new graduates is decreasing. Hence the mission of university is to educate and train students so that they could perform well in society or company. In general, career means job experience.
