Reconstruction of Lefkandi Heroon

The roof is removed intentionally in some parts to show the interior. The structure appears to be made out of stone foundation with wooden beams and a straw roof. The interior has lots of open space with one closet-like area near the curved end. The reconstruction includes a sizing device. This is the House or Heroon at Lefkandi
Japanese Flower Arrangement Painting
Gouache painting on paper using watercolor and white pigment for opacity. branches of the plants are grey with gold filled shading. White blossoms are painted with black accents on certain petals, these are seen in the middle and branching out. A tree has teal color and lines are used to describe the bush; brown color for the branch. Green leaves are painted with a gold line down the middle along with large white flowers that have bright yellow centers. There is a teal bush flowing through the group with dark blue texture. Red leaves have gold lines down the middle. The plants are all emerging from a black pot with a crimson blue elipses. There is a faded red seal.This object was photographed and inventoried during fall 2023 by Alana Reece-Walker ('26).
