Model output for perturbed biology and physics signatures in a 1-D ocean biogeochemical model ensemble
The dataset is generated from running MEDUSA-1.1. model in a 1-D emulator (MarMOT) to compare the effect of perturbing the biogeochemistry, physics, and both to the model outputs, particularly the distribution of DIN, phytoplankton (chlorophyll) and zooplankton. The characteristic signatures are obtained from the anomaly concentrations of these model variables in the surface. The model is run at five oceanographic stations: BATS, ALOHA, Cariaco, PAP, and L4 which are stored in separate folders. The model outputs are written in ASCII, and separated by space. Each folder comprises three sub-folders, which include the model output for the perturbed biogeochemistry ensemble (pbe), perturbed physics ensemble (ppe), and perturbed biology physics ensemble (pbpe)

This repositary contains a sample audio clip that has been produced by using an infrasound signal from the Aurora Borealis to manipulate pink noise. In the hertz project this output has been low pass filtered to 120Hz for the hertz playback equipment. It has been low pass filtered at 400Hz here so it is audible through a standard laptop speaker. The video was a clip from a trial development session of the hertz project featuring Juliet Robson
Verbal fluency in Bengali-English bilinguals with aphasia and bilingual healthy controls
We investigated the contribution of linguistic and executive control processes in verbal fluency performance for Bengali-English bilinguals with aphasia and bilingual healthy controls. We collected verbal fluency data, executive control data and linguistic background measures to characterize each participant. This dataset contains the verbal fluency data from 8 Bengali-English bilinguals with aphasia and 8 bilingual healthy controls. The data from the verbal fluency task was collected using audio recorder, later transcribed orthographically. Demographic information and linguistic background measures were collected using paper and pen tasks. Executive control tasks were assessed using paper and pencil task, and/or computer-based tasks. The computer tasks were programmed and delivered using E-Prime.
These data could be used by future researchers to answer their specific questions regarding the lexical and cognitive underpinnings of verbal fluency performance in bilinguals with aphasia population.

Blood types and their relationship with COVID-19 among a study population in Iraq
This dataset was developed using a range of different characteristic details from COVID-19 patients who were admitted at different hospitals in Iraq. The purpose of this study was to determine if there is any direct relationship between the blood types and susceptibility to contract COVID-19. We also used this data to analyse any links between the clinical symptoms and patients� blood types

Sea ice concentration data produced from a simulation with the sea ice model CICE-CPOM-2019, including a prognostic floe size distribution model to study the Marginal Ice Zone
Monthly mean sea ice concentration output from CICE-CPOM-2019, a stand-alone (fully forced) dynamic-thermodynamic sea ice model, based on CICE model version 5.1.2, but with an added prognostic floe-size distribution, prognostic melt pond model, elastic anisotropic plastic rheology, and a prognostic ocean mixed layer. Details on the forcing and full references concerning the modifications made to the original CICE model can be found in the Readme file
Data supporting 'Pressure drag for shallow cumulus clouds: from thermals to cloud ensemble'
This dataset is used to understand the pressure drag of shallow cumulus clouds, the relationship between the pressure drag of individual clouds and the cloud ensemble. We performed large eddy simulations of shallow cumulus clouds based on the Barbados Oceanographic and Meteorological Experiment (BOMEX) using the Met Office-NERC (National Environment Research Council) Cloud model (MONC). The grid spacing is 25 m in all directions and the domain size is (15X15X3) km^3. As the whole simulation has a huge dataset, we present a subset of the results that can be used to reproduce the figures in 'Pressure drag for shallow cumulus clouds: from thermals to cloud ensemble' (submitted to Geophysical Research Letters; 2020). Access to the all simulation data can be provided on request. The full dataset will be deposited in the CEDA Archive in due course.

Met Office Weather Game Survey 2011
This dataset contains game play results and demographic data collected from participants in the 2011 Met Office weather game. The game was designed to determine the best methods of communicating uncertainty in rainfall and temperature forecasts, and to widen public engagement in uncertainty in weather forecasting.
Within the ‘ice-cream seller’ scenario of the game participants were asked to make decisions based on rainfall and temperature forecasts presented in different ways. The game was designed with a randomised structure to enable participants to experience being ‘lucky’ or ‘unlucky’ when the most likely forecast scenario did not occur.
The database contains the game play selections from over 8000 unique participants and the scores that they achieved in the game. Data were also collected on participant age, gender, location and educational attainment
Data for 'Infrared radiative performance of urban trees: spatial distribution and interspecific comparison among ten species in the UK by in-situ spectroscopy'
The datasets include 1) Leaf reflectance spectra of 9 common tree species (carpinus betulus, acer campestre, quercus robur, platanus x acerifolia, tilia platyphyllos, acer x freemanii, betula pendula, acer platanoides, aesculus hippocastanum) in the UK over the full wavelength range of 400 - 2500 nm. The leaf reflectance spectrum of each species was sampled from 5 to 10 individual trees with 10 leaves randomly collected from each tree. The collected leaves were measured promptly in the laboratory. Statistical mean leaf reflectance spectra and the spectral standard errors of the 9 tree species were estimated by the measuring samples within species. 2) Tree crown transflectance spectra samples of 10 tree species (sequoiadendron giganteum, carpinus betulus, acer campestre, quercus robur, platanus x acerifolia, tilia platyphyllos, acer x freemanii, betula pendula, acer platanoides, aesculus hippocastanum) in the frontal sunlit area of the trees, with a wavelength range of 350 - 1000 nm. The tree crown transflectance spectra were sampled in the sunlit side of trees by in-situ spectroscopy measurements using a vertical reference plane perpendicular to the transient solar azimuth direction. For each tree species, at least 5 trees were sampled at the crown level with visibly dense foliage (no obvious gaps in foliage and no concave crown contours). Statistical mean transflectance spectra of multiple tree species were determined in terms of intraspecific transflectance spectra in the frontal sunlit area, by converting transflectance spectra samples to the equivalent spectra at a solar altitude of 45° (benchmark condition). 3) Interspecific comparison of radiative performance levels across 10 species on sunny days determined in the benchmark conditions of 45° solar altitude. The statistical mean transflectance spectra and the standard mean errors of the 10 tree species implied interspecific difference of the radiative performance levels
Crop pollinator pan trap, timed observation and transect data
These data were collected to better understand the pollinator communities found in UK crops field of apples, strawberries and field beans. Pollinator abundance data was collected in 8 conventionally managed fields of each crop using pan traps, timed observations and transect walks implemented simultaneously. Data were collected from 6 locations within each field over several survey rounds in weather conditions meeting basic requirements. Abundance of broad taxonomic groups of pollinators were recorded using each method as well as diversity metrics and flower density in each field
